TTC after Miscarriage Thread 8

Just starting this as last thread nearly full💕🌈

I just hate doing them with the hope of one line 😞

So I'm on 10dpo and having a fair bit of backach and cramping so its either a whopper of an AF brewing or....I've ordered a first response to know for sure tomorrow... but heads all over the place

@Chellooo sounds promising! 13DPO today...I just went to the loo, opened a cheapie and chickened out of testing! 😫🙈 x

@Margo34 your story is almost identical to mine. Went to the GP, who terrified me by ordering me to go straight to A&E. They took my bloods and I did a pregnancy test - when she told me it was negative, she looked at me like I was totally nuts. The sensitivity they have is around 50ug so much much less sensitive to FRER. I then had a blood test and scan at the EPU, nothing found, no answers, HCG was around 18ug so much lower than expected but detectable on FRER (I kept testing) I had weekly tests which I found really hard as I didn't understand why they were lingering. After I started exercise and green tea, they did eventually go down but I never found out why or was given any reason. Everyone asked why I'd tested like I had 3 heads. I wish they explained this to me after my mmc as I didn't know what to expect and it caused so much stress whilst it was going on. I hope my story helps in some way as I know how stressful it is not having any answers and not understanding why they didn't shoot down like everyone else 💕

Ok so I caved.... looks like its a bfn... tho I'm driving myself mad as I thought I could see a verrrrry faint line in different lighting

@Chellooo I see a vvvvvf line which I never get with afternoon pee. I do however, get bad indents on fmu. Try again tomorrow 🤞🤞

@HoneyPea so sorry sorry for your loss. Welcome.

@MrsGrealish could the spotting after ovulation mid cycle possibly be that tiny bit of tissue trying to come out just a thought? If it didnt come out with your AF and you don’t usually get it I’d suggest it could perhaps be that. So maybe a good thing.

@mummatara sorry for the continued positives. It’s so so hard. I do think our ones at home are waaayy more sensitive that in clinic so most likely why. I reckon you’re almost there.

@Chellooo soo hard to tell. I had a very obvious indent on frer last month. Or we’ll at least believe it was an indent and not two chemicals in a row. Unless it’s got pink I’d be cautious. So hard not to get hopes up.

@calimc83 by 13dpo you’d deff get a yes or no on a frer. Not sure on. Heap tests as obv they can be diff level. But a 10 mui or 20 mui ones maybe. I always test 12/13dpo an have always had a positive by then.

well CD 11 today and now got hit with some virus cold thing. Great. Right in time for peak time. Which is basically now. Normally ovulate CD13 so gonna have to go for it even if I feel crap 😫😂

I’m going into my fertile window, however my DH has just caught covid. So likely out for this cycle. He’s not well enough to dtd, might try if he’s up to it in a few days but otherwise I hope he’s recovered for the next cycle and there’s no impact on fertility.
