Im finding it hard to get intimate again. I've DTD once in 4 weeks. Please know you aren't alone

It’s funny how it can creep up from nowhere. I thought I was back to “normal” (whatever that means) but I’ve realised I’m a different person now.
There’s no moving on, it’s just moving forwards. Everything that’s happened will always be in my past and a part of me, but each day it gets a little bit further away. Hoping that means it will get easier.
I just can’t imagine getting pregnant and going through it all over again, even though having a baby is the one thing I want most in the world. This whole process is such a head-f*ck.

Sorry for the melodramatic post - just feeling so sad and hopeless today.

@pangolin84 and @MrsGrealish I'm right there in this shit boat with you both!
Some days fine, others I am grumpy and frustrated without even realising. We (I) also have really struggled with intimacy. I can count on one hand how many times since our MC, so with TTC nearly back on the cards that brings a whole other aspect of pressure and worry, alongside the excitement, anxiety and mad control freakness 🤯. Like @MrsGrealish said, you are not alone xx

@pangolin84 oh lovely I'm so sorry you're having a rubbish day.

I really hope you feel better tomorrow. The whole process is so hard and you have to take each day as it comes some days will be easier than others.

I'm trying to gear myself up for DTD tonight but I'm not there yet. It's CD 12 and according to apps ovulation day (no OPKs done) but I know im not ready xx

Little update that the FRER was negative 🎉
I’m also getting some higher temps so hopefully I ovulated a couple of days ago. Will keep monitoring the temps, wait and see when AF turns up and then start TTC next cycle🤞
But am I ready?!

10dpo. Temp slightly down again today but not a huge plummet so I don’t feel too worried. Can anyone else see a faint line on this test or is it just me imagining it?
Im too scared to do an early detection test because if it’s negative I’ll be crushed. There’s no way I’ve imagined the symptoms that I’ve been having since Thursday. No way at all. I know what early pregnancy feels like.

@pangolin84 ahhh that's amazing so happy for you 🥳 I would just wait and see how you feel after AF a lot can happen in that time. I did another clear blue today as my temp increased this morning it was still positive but a vvfl more like when I tested at 10dpo so I'm hoping it won't be long. Typical now I've ordered myself a £50 blood test 🤦🏼‍♀️

@LuckyMoonstone I can't really see a line but could be my phone can you change the contrast on your picture? the Femometer app I use has a tweak button and will change the picture contrast can help see lines that are hard to see normally looks like this.... you could hardly see this line on my test 🙈

@mummatara I don’t like to edit the pics too much in case I create a fake line and give myself false hope. Wish there was an app that could tell me!

@LuckyMoonstone I'm not sure I see a line either. However my reading glasses are in the car. I feel like the line isn't stark white like there might be the beginnings of one so defo test tomorrow xx

@pangolin84 it’s so hard. Sending everyone lots of love. I’ve cried more in the last few weeks then I have in the last 3 months since the mc. Not sure why. Maybe a build up. And a proper negative cycle not getting pregnant maybe hit me harder.
also we’ve past ttc for a year point and that feels shit. Altho 3/4 months of spent being pregnant and then having the mc resolved.

I do feel really low about it. An like it won’t happen for us. But that’s just me being drama off. So you’re not alone ladies. It’s so hard to deal with the emotions. I find a good cry helps release some of the built
up stuff.

@MrsGrealish deff don’t pressure on yourself to dtd. I know how hard that can be. I didn’t really find it affected me like that. But can imagine it does for lots of ppl.

it’s hard to know when you’re ready. It’s just all filled with so much anxiety isn’t it.

@LuckyMoonstone feel like I can see a hint of something. But I know how even that can get yours hopes up. I was sure the line on my frer would turn into something and not be an indent. It seemed too obvious but 🤷🏻‍♀️
two more days and you might have a clearer answer 🤞🏼

I’ve lost my FMU now but I might do a clear blue early detection later tonight, see what happens 😬😬

@LuckyMoonstone exciting! Are those 25iu tests you are using because I think I have those and they took ages to darken

@MrsGrealish yeah just cheapies off Amazon. Last time I was pregnant they were still neg at 12dpo and I’m only 10dpo now so I can’t say I’m fully out but I’m still scared 😆

@LuckyMoonstone I know it's still soo early. I've taken so many since the miscarriage desperately looking for answers but I noticed those ones where so faint compared to even the one step cheapies 🤷‍♀️ I was looking through my camera roll there when I saw you posted and recognised the test.

Don't feel pressured to take another test today xx
