@MountainMummy95 maybe do another tomorrow with FMU and if it's still there it's likely to be a positive!!

WDWY · 20/06/2022 19:32

@MountainMummy95 if you can wait another couple of days then probably worth it! Good luck! Anyone else testing soon? My cycles are so long, I'll be the last one left on the TTC March 2023 group πŸ˜‚. Thanks to those who replied about the flashing faces with the Clearblue - useful to know there's variation with the oestrogen peak. @BiscuitLover3678 I know I love the digital kit, even though it hasn't made me pregnant yet.

Mummyme87 · 20/06/2022 20:05

@MountainMummy95 definitely looks very positive! I would expect a decent line tomorrow with FMU!

Tropicana1 · 20/06/2022 20:32

@MountainMummy95 I can!!!

Charl881 · 20/06/2022 20:36

That definitely looks like a very early positive!

Camia · 21/06/2022 04:34

How does everyone talk themselves out of symptom spotting and wanting to test early? I'm 8dpo and had some light cramps and the tiniest little bit of spotting so of course now I'm getting my hopes way up when I know I shouldn't. I'm not the most patient person with things like this

ThePodParent · 21/06/2022 05:53

Ooooh πŸ˜ƒ 🀞🏼 @MountainMummy95!

I had a surprise static smiley yesterday so I’ll have ovulated by this time tomorrow (last time I had a full 48hrs from smiley to ovulation!). Heeeere we go again!

Anyone else starting their TWW today/tomorrow?

WDWY · 21/06/2022 06:36

@Camia with regards to testing, last cycle I just told myself that I had to wait until the first day of missed period. I put that date in my diary and just didn't let myself test early! I know I'm the kind of person that would see what I want to see, and I recognise that it could actually make me more anxious interpreting multiple tests. AF ended up coming anyway!
With symptom spotting though, that's much harder to put out of mind because we live in our bodies! I would say every time you spot a symptom, get excited but then also acknowledge that it could be related to something else. The number of times I've felt misty eyed over an abdo twinge and it's ended up being gas πŸ˜‚. But it's normal to be excited!

Camia · 21/06/2022 06:57

@WDWY Last cycle I caved and tested a few days early, which just ended up disappointing me twice when I got a negative then held onto the little bit of hope that it was just too early until AF arrived. So I don't want to do that to myself again. Time feels so slow though. I think waiting a year and a half for my partner to agree to TTC took up all my patience and ability to distract myself πŸ˜‚

Mummyme87 · 21/06/2022 07:19

I test early every month. I usually get AF at 13do and start testing 8/9dpo as I just can’t help myself

Cdoc · 21/06/2022 07:28

@Camia god I feel your pain! I am 5dpo and all I can think about is testing, I don’t know how I’m going to make it through the next week! I’m going to test at 12dpo only because I have a work social and want to know whether to treat myself to a drink or to stick to soft drinks! When will you test?

Camia · 21/06/2022 07:48

@Cdoc Hopefully the week goes by quickly for you! I'll probably test at 14dpo so 6 more days for me. So close and yet so far!

tulipsunday · 21/06/2022 08:27

@Camia I do often cave and test early πŸ˜‚ but I am just reminding myself this month that it is a waste of money as it will likely be negative and then I won't know if it is an actual negative or just because I have tested too early.

tulipsunday · 21/06/2022 08:29

Also a random one - is anyone getting a video starting when they go on mumsnet today? Can't see any image just play and pause buttons come up. Wondered if it was the website glitching or just my phone being weird?!

Charl881 · 21/06/2022 09:32

@Camia I’m terrible for testing early, I now limit myself to four frers a cycle. AF arriving this month did at least month I was saved the anguish of early testing.

Charl881 · 21/06/2022 09:34

I’ve been for blood tests this morning after I contacted the GP about my two consecutive chemical pregnancies, I’m really impressed by how many things they’re testing and how thorough they are being despite using not meeting any sort of criteria for fertility tests yet! Something to bear in mind those of you who have been trying a while.

MountainMummy95 · 21/06/2022 09:40

@Charl881 that's such a positive experience. GPs can be so hit or miss since covid... most of them still wont even see you! Glad they are taking you seriously!

MountainMummy95 · 21/06/2022 09:44

You're all so much better than me for not testing early. I just cant help myself.

I took a cheapie and frer with fmu this morning... I'm cautiously optimistic!! I have a clearblue ultra early digital coming later with my tesco order, so will try that!

Top is last night, bottom is this morning.

Indianna2006 · 21/06/2022 13:10

@MountainMummy95 I think I see the line! And in the second pic it looks like it had a hint of pink to me. The frer evaps are very grey. And you can tell the difference in real life as it has no pink. Is there pink?

good for 9dpo tho 🀍
