So I must be CD8 today assuming this bleed was in fact AF, I'm going with that 🤣 DB has horrific hayfever through the summer so it's not exactly a romantic time to TTC 😂

Sorry been a bit absent just been having a little bit of a Mumsnet break which has been lovely and feeling a lot less intense and stressed now 😊

CD7 so just started ovulation testing again for the month, doing the clearblue advanced as well as cheapies this month just because my ovulation date has varied so much over the last 3 months and I'm hoping that knowing I'm getting the oestrogen rise too to confirm I'm definitely in my fertile week will help with getting a surprise early peak like last month 😂

@MrsGrealish glad to hear you're finally getting there with the miscarriage fading CD1 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I am just patiently waiting for my period to come after we have missed ovulation and also couldn't try this month🤣🤦‍♀️ i will make sure i track ovulation early this coming cycle and hopefully life doesn't get on the way again so we get to try actually.

Hello, mind if I join you? I’m on cycle 1 of ttc. 2 if you count our very half arsed attempt last month (had sex once and I think it was after ovulation!). I got a positive OPK today at CD9 which is a bit early for me, usually I get the positive on CD11 or 12. It also went negative after a few hours whereas normally I get a strong positive for around 48 hours. So who knows what’s going on! I’m going to keep doing opks just in case. Baby dust to everyone!

Im not feeling great at the moment, my anxiety is through the roof which means I can't eat and I feel a bit weak and crappy. Gonna have to try eating something this morning so I'll probably just take a load of snacks to work with me.

@Wouldloveanother welcome :) I wonder if it was your body just having an attempt at ovulation, which can happen, then if it didn't happen it will try again? Definitely worthwhile keeping testing to see what happens, and DTD every other day or so anyway :)

@Tropicana1 I'm glad you're feeling less stressed, v important to not let this take over!! I'm doing the same with the CB and cheapies this month.
Had my static peak on the CB today, CD21, and the cheapies are showing 0.79 so hopefully later today or tomorrow that may agree! Why can't these things just be in sync 😂
@MrsGrealish yay, I'm glad your AF has arrived and you can get a bit of closure and knowledge of what's going on in your body! Sure your emotions are a bit all over the place though so sending hugs

Thanks Stars, negative OPK this morning so I think most likely was a failed attempt at O… will keep testing and see what happens 🤞🏻 that said, I remembered yesterday I got my BFP for my 2 year old on CD21 and it was quite strong - I probably could’ve taken it a couple of days before even that and got a vfl - so maybe I’m just an early ovulator! Cycle 1 and already I’m over analysing everything…

@MamaSJ15 so sorry to hear you’re feeling low, is it because of ttc?

@Wouldloveanother oh wow, that is early! I'm at the other end and seem to have roughly 36 day cycles with a CD22(ish) ovulation. Definitely worth keeping up with the tests and see if anything more shows or if it was just a very quick peak 😊

@MamaSJ15 how are you doing? Do you work full time? Take care of yourself and take time off if you need to. I feel you with the no appetite I lost a stone with just being so stressed this past month. It's so hard. You need to eat but absolutely zero appetite for anything xx

@MrsGrealish @Wouldloveanother no it's not due to TTC. I have a phobia of vomit which is what my anxiety is generally based around. I had a call off my sister on Wednesday at work to say her DD (so my daughter's cousin) had been sick, they go to playgroup together and are together every day pretty much so I've been on edge ever since. I was a bit better last night but the night before I barely slept. My DD has a cough at the moment too so every time she starts coughing in bed I was instantly on edge and panicky. I've seen a therapist about this and she also did hypnotherapy but it didn't work. I have a consultation with a new therapist this weekend, hopefully she'll help me a bit more. I feel like the anxiety is becoming crippling because I feel useless when I have it, and I lose my appetite (I'm not a big person to start with so losing weight isn't good).

@MamaSJ15 I hope this new therapist is of some use. My DD needs her ears syringed today. GPs don't offer this anymore. I've had to book her a private consultation with a paediatric ent today for the guts of £700.and I'm pure dreading it. But she has muffled hearing and the NHS list is 2 years 😩 My son at 16 had this done too but when the wax was removed he had to go for 2 operations he had some rare growth in one of his ears. If this happens to her I will have an absolute meltdown. There's my anxiety for today 😭

@MamaSJ15 no actual reason for sharing this but just so you know you aren't alone in this battle Xx someone in n Ireland is struggling today too x

Sending you both hugs @MrsGrealish and @MamaSJ15 , I haven't suffered from bad anxiety but have seen it very badly in DH so I really do sympathise, in my opinion it is shrugged off far too often but can be completely debilitating xx

@Tropicana1 not sure what's going on - had a premom level of 0.79 yesterday, then dropped last night and now down to 0.12 :( so I'm unsure whether I did ovulate or not, maybe it'll happen today and I just had a very short peak yesterday which I missed? hhmm.. I don't get any EWCM either so pretty hard to tell! How are you, where in your cycle are you?

Hey ladies, please help me - am i going mad? Period should be due today according to app but i am not quite sure though, CD26 and my cycles are normally 23 days long but i took those pills that the gynecologists prescribed last month and they were meant to fix my cycles going forward and make them longer. Could figure out when ovulation was either so not sure, i am so damn confused.

Theyre positive Kitty! And I would make an amateur guess of around 9 or 10dpo just from looking at your tests - congratulations!

@Wouldloveanother i am glad you are seeing it too! A have been looking at them for a few hours and just getting more and more confused. The thing is we only dtd 1 time this cycle and in the past 4.5 week and i thought i have missed ovulation as i was getting low readings but never peak on opks so not sure really what happened 🤔

They’re definitely positive, I don’t have to squint to see them. I don’t put too much stock by opks right now as they’re causing me issues this month with inconsistent readings etc. Either way you’re pregnant!

@Wouldloveanother thank you, none of them is with fmu, think it was 2nd and 4th 😳 i think I may do another later just because I am mad and still don’t quite believe I can be pregnant from having sex once after timing sex and tracking ovulation for the past 7months with no luck

well you know what they say it only takes 1 egg and 1 sperm! Perhaps that’s the right ttc ‘technique’ for you?

@Kitty901 eek, definitely positives - congrats!! That's really good that it's not FMU too. It only takes the once if things work out right, we only DTD the once the time that I had a CP. Pretty sure @MrsGrealish was just the once too?
Maybe we're all wrong in our approach and are having sex too much 😂
