@Wouldloveanother it must be yes, for the past 7 months we’ve been dtd every other day and then every day in the fertile week and nothing. This month we all got sick at home hence why we only did it once and couldn’t track the ovulation, was so upset we’ve lost a month too 😳

@alwaysseeingstars thank you, to be honest I am not, as I said I can’t believe it is true.I only did the easy@home in the morning because I thought let’s pee on something for the fun. The second line came up and I got annoyed and threw it away as I said it is one of those doggy tests so can’t be trusted. Did the Lh came positive, I said I always have a second line on LH before period 😂 so went out and had a cigarette. But thought let’s do another easy@ home saw the second line again and thought bloody hell must be a faulty batch. Still curious as I read stories about ladies getting pregnant from dtd once, I went out and bought a frer and cb, those came with lines. Got upset again as I had an indent on a frer before that gave me false hopes and read awful comments about the cb before 🫢 so had another cigarette to calm down but then thought to myself why not ask the girls …that is lines on 3 different brands you silly billy. So I spent the day being upset and angry at the tests which now I start to believe they may well be positive and I am not mad(or am)
For sure - no more smoking for me……..😂

Don’t get me wrong I just spent the whole day thinking I am having faulty tests and being upset about it that I have killed my emotions so much. I will do another later, tomorrow is too far, hopefully the line is stronger and will tell hubby ….may be 😂

@Kitty901 definitely agree about doing another later and telling hubby! I can't blame you for not trusting tests but I think you would be the most unlucky person in the world to get that many (and different brands) dodgy 😂would a CB in words make you believe it? Can you get one? haha

I have actually been wondering about the ‘too much sex’ thing. We’ve been having sex every night or every other night, much more than ‘usual’ and to be honest, it is pretty stressful! Maybe next month I will try DTD every few days and then a couple of days in a row when I get the surge.

Thank you, i think i am starting to believe it now! 🤩Just did another Frer and the line seems stronger than the one before! I just hope it will be stronger tomorrow.

@Wouldloveanother yes i have been thinking about it as well but thought having less sex would mean missing the chance. Did same think with DS1 and it took us 6 months to get pregnant with having sex all the time. May be the think about dtd too much being not good for the sperm is true 🤔 right now i am really starting to think it

@Wouldloveanother I think that's a very good idea, and a lot less stressful. But, we don't DTD as much as a lot of people it seems so it just gets very highlighted and more stressful over FW which isn't good for either of us!!

I think AF has has come early for me and also dtd quite a lot more than usual this month (almost everyday) and it was stressful so think I might also do it less 😂

I told hubby and he was rather concerned at first, his reaction was "how come we haven't had sex this month" then i reminded him of that one time and he still couldn't believe it and was in shock🤣🤣 he seems less stressed now and is starting to process it, but God knows what crossed his mind then 🤣🤣🤣

I also agree that too much sex might not be as effective as some think. Me and DH decided when we started trying again that we would be casual about it, not tracking everything and basically just having a basic idea of when AF would be due, I generally ovulate 2 weeks into my cycle. We wanted less stress and I'm hoping this will help conception.

Focusing on OPKs is a waste of time if your cycle is regular. I had written the month I got pregnant off OPK of 0.2 the one day I DTD

DH is all over me now. He knows I'm having a ttc break. Men🙄

It must be the so called chemical, line is getting fainter 😥 i am broken

@alwaysseeingstars in CD10, think I'm going to have a later peak this month as im using the clear blue advanced this month and don't even have a flashing smiley yet so not really even in my fertile week which my app says i am 🤷🏼‍♀️ trying to DTD every other or every 3 days until I start actually getting somewhere on the ovulation tests, am feeling a bit more relaxed this month though (or at least that's what I'm trying to tell myself 😂)

I think RE too much sex, you have more sperm if there's a bit of "rest" time between and also less immature sperm are released so I think you can fatigue the man's reproductive system a bit with too much early DTD

Oh no @Kitty901 I'm so sorry I didn't see your most recent update before posting - didn't mean to be insensitive xx hopefully not a chemical there's still a chance, a few months ago someone on a thread was getting much fainter lines in the morning and darker again in the afternoon and she's still pregnant so really hope it's something similar for you

DD got microsuction in the ears. It was really dependent on what the consultant recommended and he did a fantastic job x

Thank you, i will try again later, i am just so scared! I went from not believing it yesterday to realising it is true and then getting all happy, and then being in tears all morning now. It is awful i wish women didn't have to go through such things!

This is the fourth day in a row that I’ve had a positive OPK (although not AS positive as normal) in the afternoon and it’s faded to nothing by early evening. I just want to know what’s going on 😢

@Kitty901 I'm sorry if that's the case, it's so horrible when that happens ☹️ but you never know. Let us know how you get on with the tests.

@Tropicana1 @MrsGrealish thank you, I had my 30min consultation with a new therapist today and it sounds like she should be able to help me, can't remember the name of the technique at the moment but I'll let you know haha. Have an hour and a half appointment next Sunday.
I have a feeling I am ovulating today as I had faint 'feeling' (not even sure how to describe it!) On the lower right earlier. We DTD last night so quite happy with that timing! Won't be doing it tonight as DH has a heart issue which rarely plays up but he had an episode at work today so he needs to rest. Maybe tomorrow, see how we feel.
My best friend had a baby last week so I'm going over to see her tomorrow. I'm so happy for them but at the same time makes me think that if I didn't have my first chemical last year that we'd have already had another baby too. But things happen when the time is right 😊

@MamaSJ15 yea let me know if you remember I may need it this month. Another five days of bleeding and still a faint positive on an IC. Not that I plan to try this month it's just irritating. How long can this hormone last 😩

Actually cancel that. Must've been a dodgy test..full negative just there 🙌

Got my first flashing smiley today so expecting ovulation in the next 5 days hopefully. Cheapies still light as anything but don't usually darken up for me until right before.
