@MamaSJ15 ❤️

Tropicana1 · 22/08/2022 11:20

@MrsCristiano hope your dad is doing ok and of course you're allowed to still feel shitty and rant about everything!
Fingered crossed for a rapid Turn around on the opk and a glaring positive soon!

Well ladies..a flood of EWCM today and yesterday we DTD and I swear 10 seconds at best!! Thank the lord!! DH was mortified I was definitely not😂This will be me checking OPKs three times today

alwaysseeingstars · 22/08/2022 11:54

@MrsCristiano ah, fantastic news!! As I've said, I didn't even get anything higher than 0.4 on the cheapies testing once to twice a day, so I think sometimes the peak can be v easily missed! If you do get a strong OPK you can always tell DH well if he's so mortified he can always try again tonight or tomorrow 😂

MrsCristiano · 22/08/2022 12:06

@alwaysseeingstars the only time my ovulation is pushed back is because of Cp so I must have had one rather than a faulty test. CD12 today and because there is a wasp in my living room (and I'm scared) I squeezed another pee out and it's already looking so much darker!

alwaysseeingstars · 22/08/2022 12:39

@MrsCristiano I think a CP is most likely personally.. so like you say that would make sense! Ah wonderful, glad it's getting darker 😁(by the way I'm with you on the wasps, terrifying things!)

MrsCristiano · 22/08/2022 14:13

@alwaysseeingstars atm the living room is sealed off like Chernobyl. I'm about to get DS to investigate

MamaSJ15 · 22/08/2022 17:20

@MrsCristiano 😂 I laugh but I'd be the same with wasps!!
Glad the tests are starting to get darker! Definitely try again today/tomorrow 😂

MrsCristiano · 22/08/2022 17:25

@MamaSJ15 🤣🤣🤣 more depressingly we were out on Saturday and saw a tiny newborn baby boy ❤️ I actually clock it and try not to look. I could feel DH looking at the baby so hopefully that's put a rocket up his ass. It all seems so far away xx

MrsCristiano · 22/08/2022 18:02

@MamaSJ15 I told you all about the tiny baby. Apologies. The trouble with being on 2 threads🙄 First time I've seen DH look like that though. The wasp was ushered out a window by DS 😊 all is good again 😊

alwaysseeingstars · 22/08/2022 18:17

@MrsCristiano that's a good reaction from your DH 🥰
I just went for my appointment with the obstetrician and we saw a couple leaving with a newborn, I went all gooey but DH went into panic mode at the 'everyday normal look of them to just be taking a newborn home as if it's not the biggest thing they'll ever do' 🤣🤣

MrsCristiano · 22/08/2022 18:43

@alwaysseeingstars aww 🥰 any update from the obstetrician? Personal question but are you just on aspirin for blood thinning? The maternity doctors recommend this for me but my neurologist disagrees.. I want to come off everything if I think I've a chance at conception. I'm feeling if I EVER get pregnant I'm going to go private

MrsCristiano · 22/08/2022 18:47

@alwaysseeingstars don't answer if it's too personal lovely..I'm getting different opinions from everyone and it's frustrating. The epu told me I could continue a drug I know is contra indicated in pregnancy so I'm a bit lost. Fall back on my own medical knowledge so I'm not taking that one xx

MamaSJ15 · 22/08/2022 20:40

@MrsCristiano I feel like I notice every baby around too, and my best friend fell pregnant just after I had a chemical last year so she's got a lovely 7/8 week old now. She's absolutely gorgeous! She has gotten pregnant instantly both times, I'm so happy for her but can't help but be jealous at the same time!
It's good that your DH reacted in that way, hopefully that will help!
Haha glad the wasp has gone!
Our DD was up a bit later than usual tonight, we went out for a walk, there's work going on at the beach near here and they're pumping a load of sand in, we were there just at the right time to see it! But DD I think got a bit overtired and went crazy before bed haha, just got her to stay in bed now, think she'll go off quick 😂

MrsCristiano · 22/08/2022 21:45

@MamaSJ15 I feel like it did help to see the end goal. That's lovely that you have a beach so close! Super jealous 😊 my DD NEVER leaves her room ah the teenager years🙄 GCSE results on Thursday though eek and hopefully a school uniform shop 🙏

MamaSJ15 · 22/08/2022 22:44

@MrsCristiano yeah we are lucky to live here, I've grown up near the sea and I will always stay here. Nothing better than a good old fresh walk!
Ah yeah, teenagers are like another species aren't they 😂 ooo hope that goes well! 🤞

alwaysseeingstars · 23/08/2022 06:18

@MrsCristiano not at all, happy to discuss!
So I was taken off aspirin, topiramate and candesartan at the beginning of TTC due to risks, and the obstetrician yesterday has asked me to come off bisoprolol and reduce my Amitriptyline- both of which I'm very nervous about (for blood pressure and migraines) but said we'll be keeping a close eye on things and do lots of regular BP, blood and urine tests - and I can stay on almotriptan for migraines which is only an occasional use one.
Slightly disappointed as my GP said I wouldn't need to be referred to the midwives as the obstetrician would deal with it but no, apparently I do need to get the GP's referral (ours don't do self-referral sadly) and then inform the midwife that she needs to keep in touch with the obstetrician 🙄 so complicated!!

MrsCristiano · 23/08/2022 06:42

@alwaysseeingstars thank you!! Did you come off totally or on the TWW? I'm on the same 2 for migraines. The 8 week miscarriage was unplanned and I haemorrhaged after the neurologist didn't give advice on time after initially saying yea you'll be grand on this ttc 😡 it's clopidogrel. I'm on a statin which I know is contra indicated to prevent a restroke ( my cholesterol isn't even that high) but I don't take it it hurts my tummy anyway. Thank you for sharing xx all departments saying different things 🙄

MrsCristiano · 23/08/2022 06:45

@alwaysseeingstars the only thing I don't take is the Triptan and the candesartan. Triptans make my head worse for some reason 🤷‍♀️

MrsCristiano · 23/08/2022 06:50

I thought everywhere was self referral now. 🤷‍♀️

Tropicana1 · 23/08/2022 07:19

@MrsCristiano did the elusive peak arrive yesterday or are you still getting darker?

@MamaSJ15 how are you getting on with testing?

OP posts:
MrsCristiano · 23/08/2022 07:23

@Tropicana1 it did not! Did an OPK this morning though and it's twice as dark as yesterday so 🤞mind we DTD last night and after I had awful cramping. Had to get up and get the heat mat. Paracetamol was not cutting it. Lasted for 2 hours I'm ok now. I'm a little panicked about this however

MrsCristiano · 23/08/2022 07:25

@Tropicana1 hopefully will peak later on. This morning OPK below

TTC chat thread 3
MamaSJ15 · 23/08/2022 07:34

@Tropicana1 not too bad thanks, been testing once a day so far, went up a bit yesterday and back down this morning haha. Gonna start testing twice a day from today, hoping I'm gonna go back to the day 14 ovulation 🤞 currently CD12 and managed to DTD last night 👍

MamaSJ15 · 23/08/2022 07:35

@MrsCristiano oh wow the two hour cramping sounds odd! Are you feeling okay now? Oh that's a good looking line, looks like you're close 👍
