Oh gosh @lemons44 🥴 is it worth you checking or does it not really matter for you now because you’ve decided to go private? I didn’t follow up because it said on my online medical record that the GP had made the referral, however it turns out she’s just requested the secretaries make the referral and they haven’t bloody bothered yet 😒 x

NatW2021 · 29/09/2022 09:26

@Tinkerbell098 - really pleased everything went well and so quickly aswell! At least the wait to test isnt too long, will be thinking of you and sending positive vibes 💗🙏 xx

@Koali - i know back here again 😂 my temp went up this morning so thank god for that and the thermometer is going away now. I am trying to focus on positives, i have my appointment a week today so hopefully all being well i will start medicated cycles next month. I am also starting accupunture on Monday for 12 weeks, a lady who lives round the corner does it and shes so lovely and also had fertility issues so really understands. I am going to just try and switch off not symptom spot or test as its just a waste of energy isnt it xx

Koalie · 29/09/2022 10:42

@NatW2021 oh that’s a great idea, I had also considered acupuncture - you’ll have to let me know how it goes! I’ve made a promise to myself not to test until I’ve missed my period .. let’s see if I can keep to it 😆🙅🏻‍♀️

BakinABaby · 29/09/2022 14:16

@Tinkerbell098 That sounds like good news. I hope the other two keep growing well and can be frozen too. It is always good to have options for the future. But really fingers crossed you have more good news in a week or two.

@lemons44 we are doing quite a lot. Bought an older not recently renovated property because it was cheaper and good location and I really wanna have things my way at home anyway 😅Changing the floorplan including pipes and sewage, making one bath into two, new electricals and gutting the floor for additional soundproofing and levelling. By the time we are done we’ll be lucky to have money left for a kitchen, might need to get one of those tiny ikea units for a bit and save for stage two.

lemons44 · 30/09/2022 10:58

Oh wow @BakinABaby that sounds a lot but also how exciting to be getting a house exactly how you like it! I am sure all the hard work will be worth it and it will be a great distraction during all the TWWs.

Hope you're feeling ok today @Tinkerbell098 💕

Tinkerbell098 · 30/09/2022 11:08

@BakinABaby your house project sounds so exciting! I love stuff like that, starting from a blank canvas almost. But need a lot of patience. Good luck with the project. I've got one frozen, they've had to discard the others unfortunately. I'm just happy I've at least got one spare.

@lemons44 thanks for checking. I'm panicking a little bit today actually. Since day 1 of taking Cyclogest (progesterone) just before transfer, I've had really sore boobs, to the point where the nipples couldn't even touch the duvet, it would hurt! For the first time this morning, that has disappeared and now I'm thinking has it failed to implant and is my lining due to shed? Usually on a normal cycle the boob soreness disappears a few days before AF arrives and I'm just so worried now. This is the worst!!

Koalie · 30/09/2022 12:19

@Tinkerbell098 noooo, I don’t think so! Surely it just means your body is getting use to the cyclogest? You wouldn’t be preparing for your period this soon anyway, would you? Try not to over analyse. There’s so much going on in your body right now, it’s never going to be straight forward or make any sense and worrying will not change the outcome… what will be will be 🤍x

Tinkerbell098 · 30/09/2022 13:38

@Koalie I'm not sure, just think I'm going crazy! AF would be due in a week on a normal cycle, it could either be early or late this time due to all the extra hormones. thanks, I'm probably overreacting. This is driving me nuts haha! Trying to focus on work today but failing miserably at that. The weekend is going to be loooooong!!!

Koalie · 30/09/2022 13:44

@Tinkerbell098 … I feel you! Whenever my mind slips to symptom spotting I have to remind myself that there have been so many cycles where I’ve been convinced I’m pregnant and I’m not lol and that the signs are pure trickery and nothing else 😆

Koalie · 30/09/2022 14:17

Omg guys I’ve just had a call to book in my telephone consultation with the clinic for Monday !! They must have let me skip the queue ! All the badgering for the last 2 months has paid off 🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️ Hopefully HyCosy next cycle 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Tinkerbell098 · 30/09/2022 15:19

@Koalie thats amazing!! So quick as well! Fingers crossed things will move really fast from now on X

Carla2601 · 30/09/2022 16:52

@Tinkerbell098 that progesterone is an absolute demon, don’t worry the boob soreness comes and goes and actually I think in part you just get used to it. I remember having the exact same panic.

@Koalie brilliant news!! Keep us posted

Tinkerbell098 · 30/09/2022 19:42

@Carla2601 i know it’s my worst enemy! I had no problem with stims, next to no side effects. Soon as I started cyclogest, OMG!! The bloating is unreal! Boobs were so sore I couldn’t turn around in bed without screaming in agony. Nada today. Were you on two pessaries per day as well? How did you time it? I’m doing 7.30 am and pm but I’m wondering how to stick to the evening one if I have to go out one evening as I have to lie down for 15 mins after. Does it not matter too much that it’s not exactly 12 hours?

Carla2601 · 30/09/2022 20:22

@Tinkerbell098 apparently it doesn’t matter - I missed a few in the end and also wasn’t told to lie down so don’t worry about that just whack it in haha.

remember I said this - it was a breeze till I started it. It’s honestly the worst thing ever. Was your progesterone normal? I swear that’s what it is because we’re overdosing. They don’t use it in the US as it’s not available in pessaries and my friends there have been fine plus I searched on here in a panic the first time I missed one and everyone does it so try not to stress about it too much.

also watch out for OHSS symptoms because I confused the progesterone side effects and spotted it so late I ended up in hospital.

alllll that being said have a cracking weekend haha xx

Tinkerbell098 · 01/10/2022 08:16

@Carla2601 interesting they don’t use it in the US. Wonder why they do here. Yes my progesterone is normal. They haven’t tested since I started cyclogest. I have zero symptoms today. I wonder if my body is just getting used to it now. Or if it was the ovitrelle that was causing all these symptoms and not the cyclogest. Who knows?? Yes I remember you saying stims was a breeze but later you were in hospital. That’s awful but glad everything worked out in the end. I will keep any eye out for OHSS but at the moment, I don’t really have any side effects. The bloating also seems to have disappeared weirdly. It may come back though.

hope everyone’s having a great weekend X

Carla2601 · 01/10/2022 08:29

@Tinkerbell098 thats really good news - I had my transfer on the Monday and by Saturday I was starting to get symptoms so fingers crossed you’ll be in the clear! I could never really tell how much was OHSS and how much was those lil bullets but I like to blame them haha.

keep us posted with how you’re feeling x

BakinABaby · 03/10/2022 11:13

@Tinkerbell098 I don’t know if you’ve been pregnant before, but when I was pregnant with my first then the only symptoms I had in the first few weeks was a total lack of symptoms. In other cycles I’ve had every symptom I could think of on some cycle or another and I have not been pregnant. Even when I had the most distinct metal taste. So anyway, could mean something, could also mean absolutely nothing, try not to worry (might sound dumb and irritating, sorry) When can you test? Or are you taking something that might produce a false positive?

I saw my gyno today, almost had to reschedule because dd is sick, again. She did an ultrasound and all looked good, should ovulate today or tomorrow on my right. Thought so since I got a pos opk yesterday evening. Didn’t do any other tests that I was hoping she might. But prescribed me Gepretix (similar to duphaston I believe) pills 1x a day to take for three cycles after ovulation. Told me to make a new appointment if no success. Meh. I guess it’s something and hopefully it works. I guess I can expect some fun boob symptoms this month 😅

Tinkerbell098 · 03/10/2022 13:41

@BakinABaby no I've never been pregnant. Thanks so much for that, made me feel much better as I am feeling NOTHING at the moment. My official test day is on Friday, so not long to go at all! Just trying to keep myself busy with work to let time pass. I'm taking Friday off though. Hope your DD feels better soon, bless her! That's great your scan confirmed the OPK result. Hope the medication works for you. Keep us updated X

FlyOnTheWall89 · 03/10/2022 13:56

@Tinkerbell098 I had no symptoms at all and it wasn't until 6.5 /7 weeks that I felt really hungry/the need to nibble every 2/3 hours but until week 9, it all came and went a lot which was an emotional rollercoaster in itself - cue lots of private scans 😂. Keeping everything crossed x

Tinkerbell098 · 03/10/2022 14:13

@FlyOnTheWall89 thanks so much! The worry never ends does it? Hope you are keeping well X

FlyOnTheWall89 · 03/10/2022 14:15

@Tinkerbell098 It doesn't but it does ease with time. I got a scan 2 weeks ago because I had lost weight even though my 20 week scan is this Thursday. I just needed to know she still was there 😂. Xx

Tinkerbell098 · 03/10/2022 14:38

@FlyOnTheWall89 haha! I can see myself doing exactly that! Glad everything's ok. Can't believe it's been 20 weeks! Good luck with the scan on Thursday X

Koalie · 06/10/2022 13:43

@Tinkerbell098 .. test day tomorrow! How you feeling? XX

Tinkerbell098 · 06/10/2022 14:03

@Koalie I know it's crazy! How did your appointment go on Monday? Hope it was productive.

@FlyOnTheWall89 hope the scan went ok X

FlyOnTheWall89 · 06/10/2022 14:05

I have thinking about and wondering if you've already tested!!! @Tinkerbell098 hope you're coping with the waiting okay.

Scan was perfect. It's quite an intense one with all the various checks, but all looks well which is another milestone ticked off and a big sigh of relief for us x
