@KatieLooLa sorry to hear about your knee, that sounds sooo painful 😱😱 I hope you're resting up

@lemons44 Not gonna lie, it was really painful when I did it, thankfully once it popped back into place the pain went down significantly! Get the odd twinge of pain now and again but nothing too bad. Back to work tomorrow, doing part-time hours for a bit till my knee gets a bit stronger x

@Tinkerbell098 that is really great news! We had a couple lagging behind too and one caught up I think so could be even better but if you end up with 3 5 day blasts that’s a brilliant result!

@Tinkerbell098 all okay thank you. I went for an early private scan at 8+2 all was fine. I’m now basically 10 weeks. Have my dating nhs scan in about 3 weeks. I’m pretty icky so hoping all is well 🤞🏼

@NatW2021 Exciting to hear we’re cycle buddies now 😆 although, we might go a little off course because I seem to be ovulating very early and got a positive OPK today. We weren’t quite prepared for it and the tests are already going down without getting a very strong peak so I’m hoping we’ve not missed it 🥺 bloody typical for our first cycle back!

@Koalie thats so weird, i got my peak today aswell. I do normally ovulate day 12 but have a day 14 now and then like last month. My Opks have also done exactly the same as yours, got peak at 1pm then did one before and its faded which it never normally does till day after. DTD today and tomorrow then thats my lot. Trying not to be negative but just feel like its a waste of time but got to be in it to win it xx

@NatW2021 that is very weird … my positive was at 1:00pm too and we have also decided to just have sex tonight and tomorrow and that’s it 😆 I feel really disappointed that I haven’t had a proper peak but I have very obvious ovulation pains so 🤷🏻‍♀️ All we can do I guess 🤞🏼

@Koalie - we will be due AF around the same time, i bloody hate the TWW. Trying to not think much about it this month and going to not test. This is cycle 16 so its getting tiring and boring now and im starting to lose hope and interest. I havent had any ewcm this month either so just feel like its never going to happen. Hopefully next month ill be starting my medicated cycke 🤞

@NatW2021 I haven't started the recent UK version but keep seeing good things. I've watched a few of the Aussie series and loved them.

So I had some more bad news today. It's such a joke now. I kept ringing the clinic to rebook DH's procedure now they have his medical notes.

A nurse finally rang me and she said that the anaesthetist is on annual leave and so wont be able to look at DH's notes until he is back... on 14th October. Honestly there are no words. I just cried down the phone to her because I felt so frustrated. I wish we had just cut our losses at the start and found another clinic. I feel like we are so deep into the waiting now that we may as well hang on. DH's anxiety about it has been so bad to the point he is thinking of going to the Drs. The whole thing is a total shit show and I'm just exhausted with it. I'm torn between just giving up and writing the worst review I've ever written on every single platform or just hanging in there for a bit longer. If we go to another clinic now we will be back of the queue. Plus if we stay with them for IVF do we really want to get into a full on complaints process with them.

Assuming we have the procedure the week after the anaesthetist is back that will be 3 months from the time we booked it. 3 months just wasted because of their incompetence. Oh plus the fact they have our money for the procedure already as we paid when we booked.

What would you all do?

@Tinkerbell098 all the luck your way today! I hope it’s as easy as it can be. Be kind to yourself it’s a big day and I found it a lot. Hope you’ve got something nice planned for after and let us know how you go xx

@lemons44 it’s tough but I think I’d move. They’ve messed you about too much. They don’t only have one person who can get back to you or the clinic would be closed whilst they’re on holiday. You need to have complete trust in whoever does your ivf and I feel like they’ve broken that for you now. Might be speaking out of turn but I remember all this process and I just think you have to feel like you’re in good hands.

Could you make some enquiries now about waiting lists and cancellations other places so you have options to consider? And also insist one of his colleagues calls you today because I can’t see how they run a clinic like that. Good luck and so sorry this is happening to you x

@Tinkerbell098 I think I’m with @Carla2601 on this … it’s a lot of money you’re paying them which they don’t deserve for what they’ve done to you. Perhaps try and cry down the phone to some other places and explain how things have been for you and see if anyone has any appointments they can sneak you in for? If you make them think they’d only get your business if they can fit you in quickly then maybe there would be someone who would be able to make it happen for you? It’s worth a go, and if you find that the wait everywhere else is too long then maybe you could stay with them for the procedure and switch to somewhere else for the IVF? Also, could you demand a part refund if you do decide to stick with them? So sorry you’re having to go through all this, I can’t imagine how stressful and upsetting it must be. 🤍

@Koalie to add - i said bloody hell i wish i was in your position all you have to do is dtd! All the tests, bbt, supplements, tests etc and its all on me to get the dates right then you start questioning the accuracy of the sticks 😂
