2 dpo - TWW, anyone with me?

Hi everyone!
Currently 2dpo, TTC baby number 2.
Suffered a MC in January, this is my third cycle trying again.
Would love to chat to any ladies who are at the same point in their TWW as me 😊

@NSJ28 I’m not sure as my cycles vary from 26-32 days might wait till 9’dpo and use a cheap test first . What about you

@Eagtess3 I keep telling myself I'm going to wait until 10dpo but I know that no matter how hard I try to wait, I'll end up doing one way too early and kicking myself 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm going to be entering my TWW tomorrow and it will be my first proper one. I'm excited and nervous at the same time! Unsure of when to test tho! I'm thinking I might try hold off til after AF is due.

Good luck to anyone else going through the TWW.

@Carlswhite29x Haha yeah my second 😊 I miscarried at 7 weeks in January so I'm determined more than ever, although feeling very anxious. I have a four year old DS 😌

@GoT1904 sending you baby dust! Hope this is your month! Please keep us updated when you test! I've ordered a pack of FRER Which is arriving today, it's going to take everything in me to wait until at least 10dpo 🙈 I have a habit of testing stupidly early even though I know it's too early. May aswell just pee on a £5 note 😅

@mgdj Hi! Aww that's nice We are on the same dpo 😊 please keep me updated when you decide to test! I've got a four year old DS already. Found out I was pregnant last December (unplanned and a shock but also very much wanted) but sadly MC at 7 weeks in jan. It has made us realise how much we want a second baby so we have been TTC again since January :) sending baby dust your way!

@NSJ28 aww I'm so sorry, miscarriages can be so traumatic. I had one myself 2 years ago at 10 weeks and it took me a while to get over it tbh. It's hard not to fear it happening again.

How does everyone feel about their odds this month? I'm not sure we have done enough 😂 DTD on ovulation but I still have a feeling that it won't be this month. Maybe I'm trying to not get my Hope's up too much as I had a late period last cycle and was convinced I was pregnant but nope.

@Carlswhite29x I'm sorry to hear about your MC! It's so awful, but I have everything crossed for you that this is your month! I see a lot of people say that the month that they didn't feel pregnant actually turned out to be the month they got their BFP, so please don't feel put out until AF arrives! 😊 we only managed to DTD once, but going by OPK's it was at most, two days before ovulation so hoping we stand a good chance 😊

@NSJ28 yes, so true! When I fell pregnant I literally would not have been able to tell other than my AF being late and I think it was two weeks before I actually tested because I was so convinced AF was going to arrive.

We DTD close to ovulation so fingers and toes crossed that it was enough.

Anyone else go from being really calm and relaxed about TTC to really obsessive/anxious about it from hour to hour? I can be so chilled and just thinking "it happens when it happens" one moment and then googling/lurking these forums obsessively the next 😂

'@Carlswhite29x I was the same with my pregnancy with DS and also the pregnancy I MC, although both were unplanned so I wasn't tracking anyway, but with my son I was almost 5 weeks gone when I suddenly had an afternoon nap (something I never did) and when I woke up at 4pm I though, hm, I'm gonna go buy a test. Drove to boots, did the test when I got home and it was positive. With the one I lost, I had zero symptoms, I just had an obsession with POAS. Although we wasn't trying, we also wasn't 'not' trying, IYGWIM.

I've have itchy boobs/nipples since 1/2dpo. I know it's scientifically impossible for this to be caused by anything pregnancy related, but I've never had itchy boobs in my life 🤣

@Carlswhite29x sorry, forgot to respond to the last bit of your post. Yes absolutely me, one minute I'll have forgotten about it and then all of a sudden get butterflies in my stomach because I've remembered that I could be pregnant. And then all the rest of the time, I'm panicking over that fact, because I'm so scared il lose another. And then another part of me is like, my GOSH, this two weeks feels longer than the past two YEARS!!!

@NSJ28 yeah it's funny how you often get absolutely no symptoms yet we all find ourselves symptom spotting like crazy in the TWW. I had loads of symptoms last month and a late AF so I was convinced I was pregnant, like 98% sure and I got 2 BFNs.

I'm going to try and keep myself as busy as possible but it will be really nice to have people to chat to during this time that are also going through it. I think my friends are sick of hearing me 😂 I have one friend who I can chat to alot about it because she is baby crazy and another that I can also chat to but don't want to overdo it with her as she wants to TTC but her partner is backwards and forwards about it. Plus she is in a same sex couple so the process for her is more difficult with having to use donor sperm. She can't just DTD every month and hope it works, she has to travel to her donor and book time off work etc. She does enjoy talking about TTC but I have noticed recently she seems a little sadder about it or deflated.

When do you think you will test? I really can't make up my mind hahaha.

@NSJ28 oh I probably won’t be testing unless my AF is late! The disappointment when the test is negative is horrible 😩 I’m so sorry to hear about your MC. sending you lots of baby dust for this month xx

@Cindyindy I was really tempted to test this morning but managed not to!! I'm hoping to hold out till 10dpo. However I just realised that I'll be working with DP that day, so I might do 9dpo and 11dpo lol. How about you? Xx

@GoT1904 il be happy to hold off till after 8dpo i hate the disappointment but have no self control when it comes to testing 🙃
