2 dpo - TWW, anyone with me?

Hi everyone!
Currently 2dpo, TTC baby number 2.
Suffered a MC in January, this is my third cycle trying again.
Would love to chat to any ladies who are at the same point in their TWW as me 😊

How is everyone feeling? I'm 4/5 dpo now (not 100% sure which). Today I am EXHAUSTED! i know very unlikely to be pregnancy related this early on, it's most likely due to my 4 year old being off school and sucking the energy out of me 😅

Hi 👋🏻 I'm fine about it when I'm focused on something else like work, but then as soon as I remember I could be pregnant I'm obsessed again! How about you? When I got my BFP before my mc last year I was so used to af arriving every month that I didn't even think about it until I was four days late - I only took a test out of annoyance because I felt like I was coming on any minute 😅 however now I'm planning it so carefully I'm aware of it every minute 🙄

Thank you ☺️ I'm excited to be trying again after the mc as that was devastating. I hope we don't have to go another 18 months for a bfp though!

@NSJ28 yes, definitely. It's so nice to have people to chat to. I think everyone TTC needs someone to chat to.

I'm only 2dpo and I feel super tired as well, don't really have a reason to though as today was fairly restful.

I'm also getting this really weird cramping and sharp pains on my right side which I know isn't ovulation because i had ovulation pains/bleeding and my peak on the OPKs on friday/Saturday. I know it's far too early to be implantation cramping so I'm a bit curious as to what it could be and will admit I've been googling 😂😂 someone needs to confiscate my phone.

@lettyloulou completely understand that! If I'm busy I'm okay but it's the quieter moments that I start stalking forums and watching youtube videos about conception and birthing vlogs😂 I waited awhile to test when I got my BFP (which also resulted in a MC) too, think it was nearly two weeks because I literally was so convinced I was coming on. Will this be baby #1 for you?

Anyone else tried checking their cervix? I read that if it stays high after ovulation it could mean you are pregnant. I tried today and couldn't even feel it but it could be high as I have just ovulated.

@Carlswhite29x yep this will be baby number one 🥰 how about you? Sorry if you've already mentioned in the thread. I'm 34 - if I did get a bfp this month my due date would be 3rd January which is a day after my 35th birthday (and a rubbish time of year to have a birthday but I'll take it 😂)

It's difficult sometimes to keep the faith that it'll happen as I spent years never getting pregnant whilst my friends would get pregnant just looking at a man 🙄 when I got my bfp last year I was in total shock. Then obviously the mc was the next shock. I feel like hurdle number one is getting pregnant then hurdle number two is staying pregnant. The actual stress of it all!

@lettyloulou baby #1 for me too. Yes, completely get it. Most of my friends have had theirs in their early 20's so even at 29 (30 in September) it can be a worrying time TTC. Late 20s to 30s is such a normal time to have a baby but because all my friends were so young I feel like I'm late to the party.

There is definitely so much pressure! Have you been TTC for a while? My pregnancy was unexpected then after the MC I decided to get the coil as I was pretty traumatised and not ready. 2 years on, I finally feel ready.

@Carlswhite29x your story sounds similar to mine. Me and other half were trying casually for 18 months before the bfp and mc this time last year. I had blood tests a few months before which were fine. I had them again a few weeks ago - my progesterone was 49 which was fine, waiting to speak to GP about the day 3 tests. Internal and external ultrasounds last week showed no issues (I had multiple cysts last year when I was mc'ing) so there is no indication anything is wrong. But I can't stop thinking that the ideal age for pregnancy is 30-35. I just want to see those magical two lines again ☺️

Yeah honestly, I think that ideal age crosses all of our minds. My friend is in the same boat she is 35 this year and feels like it is now or never but plenty of people fall pregnant past 35. Its actually only my 3rd month TTC and the first two months we only tentatively tried as I had just got my coil out so wanted to see how I got on with my AFs. This month is the first month I have tracked everything properly and the first time I will be doing a tww but I'm still freaking out over it! I think its the unknown of it all. Like if someone turned to me and said you will be pregnant in 5 months or 9 months or whatever, I would be able to relax a bit more 😂

Hey everyone 10dpo today and got a bfn on a free. Think I’m out for this cycle . Not exactly sure when AF is due as my cycles vary and my apps are all over the place.

@eagtess3 aww I'm sorry on the BFN. I don't really have any experience in testing before a late AF but I've seen it mentioned that sometimes it can be too early? Will you test again or just wait for AF?

@Eagtess3 sorry about your BFN! But you are not out yet! If you don't know when AF is due, then I'd maybe wait 4 more days and if no sign, do another test? A lot of people don't get a BFP until after 11dpo so you're def not out yet!

I stupidly did a cheapie this morning at 6dpo, I have No idea why, I know it's way too early especially for a cheapie!

It's so hard not to be tempted though isn't it! I'm only 4dpo and literally every day has been like waiting a week!

I still haven't decided if I will test before AF or not. I think there are pros and cons to both. Last month I was a week late and so convinced I had caught on but I had two BFN in the space of a week and i was so disappointed. I'll admit the second one didn't sting quite as much but I don't know if I can test early because of how disappointed I was. Then again, if I wait for AF and it arrives I will still be disappointed anyway 😂 there is no way to win here unless you get a BFP.

Hi ladies I am in 5dpo today so round the same time as some of you. I almost always get some spotting by about 8dpo so just hoping that I'll have a clear week of no spotting and that will give me hope for a bfp this month!

Hope the waiting days pass quickly for you... anyone got happy Easter distractions going on?

@Carlswhite29x I think I'm going to try and resist the urge to test until 10dpo. These next 5 or 6 days are going to drag, I've had tender boobs since 2dpo which never usually happens and yesterday and today I've had cramping in my uterus area for some reason. My temps are staying quite high above my coverline as well so who knows x

Hi ladies, hope you don’t mind me joining.
Currently in my TWW, also suffered a MC beginning of February - it was a happy surprise but we unfortunately lost it at 9 weeks. Made us realise that’s what we wanted and been tracking my cycle ever since.
I’m 6dpo today and symptom spotting like mad - have to say I didn’t feel much different before my BFP last time so don’t know why I’m obsessing over it so much!
We tried the SMEP this month so hoping we might have some luck but feeling a bit pessimistic.
It’s nice to know there are others who know how it feels ❤️

@runningonhope fingers crossed for you hun 🤞 I literally get no signs when AF is coming, some warning would be nice sometimes 😂 as for distractions, work and hopefully a cinema date this weekend with DP. DP has a long weekend this weekend with it being easter so we get sunday and monday together which is nice! Might go on a long dog walk, weather permitting. Wbu?

@hopingforababy2022 oh that sounds really promising! I don't track BBT but have read it stays up if you are pregnant right? I've been symptom spotting since day 2 🙄 but I know everything can be explained in someway or another. I have had some pains in abdomin and back but figured it was too early for that. I've been checking my cervix as well and it's high still so that got my Hope's up but then I saw a video on youtube and the lady said her cervix doesn't drop til 2 days before AF 🙃 I literally need to stop and just wait it out 😂 I have wrote everything down in my notes section just incase. I thought it would be helpful to look back on.
