Hoping for BFP in May

CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

Sorry guys I have been MIA. I have been reading all of the updates and I wish everyone well in the new cycles.
sorry for the losses 😢 I cannot begin to imagine the heartbreak!
life has been busy but not feeling massively different yet. We’re going for a reassurance scan next week as things feel different this time around - may be I am over worrying 🤷‍♀️

Period has ended now so the fun begins! Feeling a bit nervous. Is anyone else testing quite late in may? I’m not due to ovulate until mid may!

So day 23 was the day I’ve assumed I ovulated - but as you can see temp doesn’t jump until day 26... but it still rose slightly the next day. Do you think actually I ovulated day 25? My LH peak was day 22! WHY IS THIS STUFF SO CONFUSING 🤯😂

Constantly hungry all of a sudden haha. I'm in between wanting to lose a few pounds but also wanting to get pregnant! AF is due in 9 or 10 days depending how it goes sInce my coil was removed.

I would say you ovulated 23rd with a slow bbt rise after!

This is my chart from when I caught with my DD. You’re right slow BBT rise there too! Phew.

My dh still thinks we could be in with a chance this month, so I guess I’m not out yet till af shows up!

I’m 8/9 dpo so af should turn up in the next 2 days, I think. My last 3 cycles since mmc my LP has been quite short. Between 9/10 days but I’ve been taking vit C and B to try and lengthen it abit.

Sorry, I said hello a few weeks ago and then ducked out! I thought I was due to ovulate last Thursday and had planned to test on the 5th but based on a really sore left ovary last Tuesday and some boob pain for the following week, I think I've ovulated a few days early, so planning to test this Sunday instead. I think at that point I'll be 12DPOish as I don't think I could wait much longer🤞🏻🤣

Nice to see some old ‘friends’ on here, although of course I wish we were all on ‘the other board’ by now!

8dpo here. I had really quite strong lower backache on the side I ovulated from, 1–4dpo. Then it faded, although in some positions that side still feels sore. I don’t think it means anything though.

Took a 10iu easy@home this morning, negative. This is my first cycle after HSG and the scientific literature says there is a fertility bounce for three months after your HSG so I was pinning everything onto this month, especially as our other tests have come back ok and we DTD every other day religiously.

I know I’m only 8dpo but I couldn’t feel less pregnant if I tried. No cramps or twinges or pinching or pulling or sharp pains. I just know we’ve failed for yet another month.

Yeah I think this looks normal, ovulation could be 24-48 hours after positive opk and another day or two before bbt rise. Looks good!

CD5 today. Period over, will start OPK maybe Monday.
had a chat with a consultant colleague at work (obs and gynae) about why my ovulation date changes every month, was it post ectopic or coil etc. she said, probably nothing to do with either, age likely the biggest factor, but also just life. As I’m on cycle 7 now she ordered FSH and LH bloods which I did yesterday, and then to do a progesterone 7 and 8dpo, mainly to confirm I’m actually ovulating. Have to take the occupational perks where I can get them!!

@Cherrymarket I'll be due to test the near the end of May (my birthdays on the 25th as well!) So that would be a lovely birthday present for me!

I caved and tested this morning at 9dpo, negative 😞 I'll try again in a few more days but feeling a little less hope now🤞

Those that take opks - do they gradually get darker or go from zero to peak in your experience. I've had very faint all week and I cannot remember what mine were like when I was ttc ds. Meant to ov Sunday and dh is leaving Monday for the week so starting to fear I won't ov until next week

I have bits of mild cramping this morning 😬 it's putting me on edge!

I've attached my OPK's if it helps you, mine went from Low to Peak quick (within the same day!)

@Decaffe I had a bunch of those 10iu tests for my first and was resoundingly negative in those for a good week after I was getting positives on FRERs. I won’t be using them again 😂

Moving over from the April thread.. I'm on CD6, would be looking at testing around the 20th of May

Pink spotting on CD24 again so definitely out. I'll be staying put for a while though cuz next af will be due at the end of may.

Joining in if I may. Just under a year of trying for no.1.
Keep thinking I’m doing everything wrong, I’m planning to start taking temp again as I’m not that clear when I’m ovulating which is silly. Using OPK though. It’s so hard isn’t it.
