Hoping for BFP in May

CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

4dpo for me. Been trying for #2 since September where DD turned 1. Fingers crossed. Getting lots of cramps and back pain I don't normally have so who knows. Could be psychological but 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you! I've got Flo and Premom for tracking. Last month I think I ovulated around CD 16/17 but I may start tracking from CD10 perhaps. I usually get egg white cm for a few days which is my indicator!

I know I'm gutted. However if I get pregnant this cycle baby would be due in partners birthday! My daughter was born on my birthday (different father) so would be fun if it happened and he said he'd love that. Baby dust to us all 🌟

The last few days have been bizarre, still no af so went out and brought yet another digital. It came back positive 🤷‍♀️ Over the moon but also very early days so trying not to get too excited.
I hope everyone gets there BFP soon, this conception malarkey can be cruel.

Same here. 1 year ttc for #2. Don't understand what's going on. Very disheartening. Feeling like you can never get your hopes up yet still trying not to get upset when period comes. :(

can I join? Casually trying for #2 this month (first month). Will be testing fairly late compared to a lot of you as I am currently waiting this April period, probably testing around the 24th may.

okay thank you just feeling extra tired. But with a lively LO that isn’t a surprise, still feels unreal to be honest. Just hope the baby sticks and we will go for an early reassurance scan. I have everything crossed for you, I am thinking of you.

Thank you for your kind words. It is so odd, and contributing to my anxiety. I have done a few tests since to confirm.

Congratulations @Izzyboo1234 . It must be confusing after getting negatives. What DPO did you test positive?

I did a FRER this morning and BFN at 10DPO so I think I’m out for the cycle but AF is due 30th Apr so still could get BFP in May 🤞

I’ve ordered some new pre natal vitamins to spice things up. Active Iron Pregnancy Plus. They include the usual folic plus omega and iron. I take coq10 too because I’m late thirties x

@PeachesToday those vitamins sound like the whole shebang!

speaking of vitamins, does anyone know of any pregnancy vitamins that don’t contain iron?

@Cherrymarket I've been taking vitamins separately rather than pre pregnancy vitamins as I already take some higher dose ones anyway and just thought I'd be doubling up, you could try take the main vitamins you need separately rather than but the all in ones!

CD 16 and no positive OPK, my app has changed now from saying no peak to ovulated on CD9 as that was my darkest line, don't think it's right tho! Any one have anything similar or struggles getting a peak?

Thank you! I had considered this but I am already taking folic acid, vit d and 3 omega 3 tablets and I thought adding more might be a bit much with breakfast 😂 I think you’re right and I will have to though. Annoying that iron is in everything!
