Hi all! I'm currently 1dpo.. so officially in the last stage of this cycle! I should be due AF around April 19th, which happens to be my birthday! So I'm going to try really hard not to test until then. Anyone else around the same?!

@PositivelyPrehistoricMom wishing you lots of hope for BFP. I know how you feel, I'm 40 and had a MC in December, not giving up hope 🌈
I have a friend who had her babies at 43 and 46 and my cousin had her little boy at 43 so it is possible. 🤞🏻 for you and everyone in the group for BFPs this month and if not this month very soon 😘

PositivelyPrehistoricMom · 10/04/2022 22:22

Thank you @Sarahmayo sometimes is easy to be super negative with all the odds against older mums. Fingers crossed for this month and we’ll just have to see. Good news is I’m pretty regular every month so I know I’m a bit away from the menopause even though I’m closer to it in age terms 😂 so there is always hope xx

MrsGrealish · 10/04/2022 22:30

@PositivelyPrehistoricMom I'll be 40 next month so basically not much difference..take the test!! and also welcome xx

@Graceybaby good luck with testing tomorrow xx

Sarahmayo · 10/04/2022 22:32

@PositivelyPrehistoricMom there's always hope and it's much more common these days. Having regular cycles is always a good sign. I have painted a rainbow on my nails, I've got real hope this month. My ovulation day was on my birthday and if I did get a BFP my due date would be Christmas Day! Got to keep hope always 🤞🏻🌈

GoT1904 · 10/04/2022 22:41

Omg @MrsGrealish.. he will think he knows why you couldn't wait for the parcel hahahahaha

Hey @Graceybaby :) you're definitely still in with a chance. I think just coming off the pill had thrown us some curveball symptoms hasn't it!

@ArcEnCiel2022 please update us if you test :D

Welcome @PositivelyPrehistoricMom I do so hope you get your BFP. one of my good friends had her DS at 41 and she actually sailed through it. How long have you been tracking your cycles? I don't have any advice as for being older, however I can relate to being overly anxious and I'm around anytime you need to talk. I worry about anything and everything ever. I've also been nauseated and it's my anxiety I'm pretty sure. Xxx

@GoT1904 thank you! I’ve been tracking my cycles for about three years - definitely a good months before my last pregnancy in 2019 as we BD on my OD that I was tracking and got caught. We’ve just not had any luck since. Also I felt pretty traumatised after the m/c and I didn’t want to try for quite a long time. My cycles are weird tho. One month it’s 25 days and I have a 2 or 3 day period and the next will be 29 days with a seven day period but I keep tracking and hoping the fertile period I’m given is accurate enough so we BD every other day just before my fertile period. We’ll see anyway!

@Sarahmayo I’m keeping everything crossed for your BFP. I’ve calculated if I am pregnant then my due date would be 22nd Dec! Keeping hope in all that we do xx

Rosegold3112 · 10/04/2022 22:57

Hi ladies! I got some spotting this eve after going to the loo. I have been cramping the past few days and feeling like af is coming but I thought i was only 7dpo today. There is a chance I've miscalculated but all the signs seemed to be there that I ovulated on cd 18 (currently cd25). I did have spotting a few days before my last period so now I'm worried it's the start of af but she's showing signs ridiculously early. What's everyone's opinions? I can attach a pic but don't want to put anyone off their dinner 😂

ArcEnCiel2022 · 10/04/2022 23:00

@PositivelyPrehistoricMom Welcome! I don't have any advice but I'm 37, almost 38, and trying for my first (had 2 miscarriages last year), so it's nice for me to hear you had your first at 38! I hope you will get your bfp soon.

@GoT1904 yes I will update you! At the moment I've decided to wait Tuesday, but who knows if I won't change my mind tomorrow morning 😂

@Sarahmayo the rainbow on your nail is really nice 😊 fingers crossed for you with all these good signs!

@T4Opal good luck for your test on Tuesday, I also had indents on frer two months ago...

Sarahmayo · 10/04/2022 23:26

@ArcEnCiel2022 & @PositivelyPrehistoricMom
Thank you hoping for you too, Christmas babies 🎄
Hey
@Rosegold3112 could be implantation spotting would fit in with 7 DPO. I don't mind pictures, I'm sure no one will object, we've all seen it ourselves so why not if you would like too 😊

Sarahmayo · 10/04/2022 23:29

@MrsGrealish 🤞🏻🌈 for you too. I have been testing since 6DPO, stupid I know, I know I won't get a positive but just can't help myself 🙈

Rosegold3112 · 10/04/2022 23:39

@Sarahmayo haha I know there doesn't seem to be a limit to what comes up in ttc topics 😂😂 but just seemed rude to blast it at you all. I'm hopeful it's implantation spotting. I had spotting at 8dpo when I fell pregnant with my DD but as far as I recall it wasn't accompanied by cramps and I've been cramping on and off for the past few days. I'm also discouraged cos I've been spotting the past few months but not more than 5 days before af and I really thought I'd tracked my ovulation better this month. I was going to put off testing until at least weds

Anyone testing around April 19th? My 2ww is just starting.
Sarahmayo · 11/04/2022 00:17

@Rosegold3112 it could definitely be implantation spotting. I personally have light cramping and spotting during early pregnancy but it's also different for everyone. Sorry I'm not being much help. Have you had any pregnancy losses recently? Sorry it's a sensitive question but the only time I've had unexplained spotting, other than implantation, was after MC when my body was regulating itself again. How long has the spotting been going on for? Is it just when you wipe? If it stops again soon it could well be implantation bleeding. 🤞🏻 for you 🌈

Rosegold3112 · 11/04/2022 00:24

@Sarahmayo I had a loss in Oct last year and I have spotted every cycle since. They seemed to be getting gradually longer too with my last cycle being around 50 days 😒 thought af was never going to come. So it's most likely the same this month too, just feeling a little hopeful with it being so early. My cycle is on track to be a normal length this time at least and I told myself if af came I could at least be pleased it is getting back to normal but its hard not to get my hopes up. You're being a great help! After all, there's only one way to really find out for sure and that's to get af or not. It's just nice to get opinions and ideas as well instead of going mad in my own head

Graceybaby · 11/04/2022 06:28

Morning lovelys

Welcome @PositivelyPrehistoricMom 🙂

Well 8DPO today and BFN this morning as expected but day 8-9 are the most common days for implantation so still hope! I didn't test positive until 10DPO with my son either.
I used to usually only have a LP of 10, 11 days if I'm lucky so we'll see!

Don't think I'm going to test again now for a few days.. it's so disappointing even when in your head you knew it was going to be a BFN, just going to wait and see what happens now 🤞🙈

How's everyone feeling this morning? xx

MrsGrealish · 11/04/2022 07:18

@Sarahmayo thank you 😊 I'll probably test tomorrow and keep going..gotta use these cheapie tests somehow xx 🌈

@Rosegold3112 that good defo be implantation bleeding I've had it once around 9dpo and it looked very much like that. Hopefully it doesn't get heavier🙏

MrsGrealish · 11/04/2022 08:02

I haven't gone off coffee yet which is a bad sign but could only eat 2 bites of dinner last night.

@Graceybaby and I felt sorry for DH last night and DTD and no cramps! 🤷‍♀️

GoT1904 · 11/04/2022 08:26

Eeee @PositivelyPrehistoricMom when do you think you'll test??

@Rosegold3112 dw about the pic! It definitely could be implantation bleeding tho! I've had that for my last 2 pregnancies but I can't remember how many dpo or anything I was. How is the spotting now??

@Graceybaby aww sorry for the BFN. Its still really early though! I held my morning wee in for about 45 mins whilst I decided if I should do a FRER (only 7dpo!) But I managed not to haha. Only 3 more days till I test but I'm wondering if I will make it that far haha. I'm going to work with DP on Thursday, which was when I was gonna test.. so maybe I'll do 9dpo and 11dpo lol. Xxx

Where's everyone from BTW? I'm West Yorkshire xxx

OP posts:
Graceybaby · 11/04/2022 08:54

@GoT1904 I did the same! I woke up really early and was desperate for a wee and thought don't test don't test... But I did 😅

But I have made an agreement with myself not to test until after AF due now. I'm staying strong!! 🙈

I'm off work this week which makes it worse.. just feel like I'm sitting around waiting for any sort of sign! It's so bad... I'm going to give the house a good clean today and distract myself!🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm from the South East, Westham near/in Eastbourne.

xxxxx

ArcEnCiel2022 · 11/04/2022 09:07

@Graceybaby I'm sorry for the bfn, but yes it's still so early that it doesn't mean anything! But I know how disappointing it is to see a bfn...

That's why I didn't test this morning, it was not easy to resist but I did. What helped me is that during the night at some point I was awake, and I felt a sudden sharp pain, it lasted only one or two minutes maximum, and I thought that might be implantation? 🤞 I really hope so, and now I'm thinking if it was, I should wait 2 or 3 days before I test... I feel that this month I will be more disappointed than ever if I don't get a bfp because I've put my hopes really high even if I didn't want to. Not a good thing!

@GoT1904 I'm in Oxfordshire!

GoT1904 · 11/04/2022 09:11

Because I'm a twat I tested with my SMU and you a BFN haha. I really thought I could do better!! 😂😂 so in all likelihood I'll be testing tomorrow too ffs. Xx

OP posts:
Rosegold3112 · 11/04/2022 09:13

@GoT1904 it's barely noticeable. I didn't have anymore last night but again after going for a bm this morning there is a very faint pink tinge and some actual red spots. I have a feeling its af related as I still feel crampy and just generally rubbish. My temp hasn't dropped yet so I think it's just going to be a long week 😒 might get some cheap tests tonight and test in the morning just cos I'm a POAS addict though

Graceybaby · 11/04/2022 09:34

@ArcEnCiel2022 Oo that sounds promising!! I really hope it was!

I keep feeling things that feel like it could be implantation.. it's hard because I really felt it with my first pregnancy it was like what you've felt very sharp pains on one side so I feel so deflated that I haven't felt anything similar but it's so stupid because you could feel nothing and still have implantation!

Our bodies play some horrible mind games 🤦🏼‍♀️😅

xx

PositivelyPrehistoricMom · 11/04/2022 09:53

@GoT1904 I did a test this morning and was negative. I’m about 11 dpo so I’ve a funny feeling it’s probably fairly accurate. AF due on Wednesday so we’ll see. No worries. We’ll Keep on trying and stay positive.

MrsGrealish · 11/04/2022 10:07

I'm in Northern Ireland, working today and feeling pretty ropey 🤞
