Hi all! I'm currently 1dpo.. so officially in the last stage of this cycle! I should be due AF around April 19th, which happens to be my birthday! So I'm going to try really hard not to test until then. Anyone else around the same?!

Hi @T4Opal you sound exactly like me. Actual heat is coming from my boobs but it's too early 🙈 welcome xx

GoT1904 · 10/04/2022 12:04

Afternoon ladies 😁😁 6dpo here today and the day is going really fast for me! Only 4 days until I test. I'm getting a bit nervous about it now as I don't wanna be mega disappointed lol. But the days are ticking by :)

How are we all? Welcome @T4Opal. Xx

Hi Everyone🥰

Sorry I've not been very active. How's everyone doing? Sounds like a few of you have symptoms similar to mine, it's driving me crazy and I want to test so badly!🥺 Just not sure if it's PMS or pregnancy related!

When is everyone testing???x

ArcEnCiel2022 · 10/04/2022 13:09

Hi all! I have quite a busy weekend which help me not thinking too much about all this (still thinking a bit about it of course 😅). 7dpo today, no real symptoms, just a bit of cramping... Not long before testing!! I haven't decided yet when I will do it... When are you thinking to test @MamaMorg01 ?

ArcEnCiel2022 · 10/04/2022 13:17

@T4Opal Welcome! Why do you think you didn't ovulate last month?

MamaMorg01 · 10/04/2022 13:18

@ArcEnCiel2022 if you don't mind me asking, is your cramping intermittent? Or dull constant? I've just ordered some cheapie tests from Amazon, should be here tomorrow but I'm going to wait as long as possible😂 maybe test from Tuesday onwards, I have too much anxiety after my chemical - what about you??x

ArcEnCiel2022 · 10/04/2022 13:25

@MamaMorg01 it's intermittent, and not very strong, I wouldn't probably even notice if I not paying too much attention like I do these days! What about you?
I was checking the tests I have in my drawer yesterday, and I have 5 cheapies, 3 FRER, 2 Tesco brand, and 1 clearblue digital, it should be enough for this month 😂
Like you I want to wait as much as I can, I'm tempted to try tomorrow, but if I can I'll wait at least Tuesday or Wednesday... Let's see 😅 when was your chemical?

MamaMorg01 · 10/04/2022 13:36

@ArcEnCiel2022 how interesting! My cramps are intermittent too, it's just so strange, they've been there since around 5dpo!

Omg love the test collection!😂 I've literally only got one clear blue digi lol. You'll have to let us know if you test! I'll probably end up caving haha. My chemical was in Feb and I tested a day after my period was due but testing early just gives me anxiety😬 but then I'm low-key a POAS addict

MrsGrealish · 10/04/2022 13:44

I have intermittent cramping today and yesterday. Only really noticeable when I'm trying to get to sleep. Boobs not as sore today either. Sort of know they are there sore but not painful. The cramping I don't like because it's like mild AF pain🥲

MrsGrealish · 10/04/2022 13:51

I bulk bought tests from Amazon. Picked a Tuesday delivery because DH would not be there. He thinks you should test once when late. However bloody Amazon are too efficient and they are coming today. I'm like a mad woman staring out the window to intercept delivery😂

T4Opal · 10/04/2022 14:13

I’m going to try and wait until Tuesday to test I think!
@ArcEnCiel2022 I don’t think I ovulated last month because I had no ewcm no ov pains and my period ended up being 5 days late. Maybe due to trying and failing to ovulate and my body being confused and I also tested positive for covid at the end of the cycle so everything was messed up!

Like the test collections, I have a fair few of all different varieties too! I normally always go too early

MamaMorg01 · 10/04/2022 14:16

@MrsGrealish the cramping is becoming so draining, like you said it resembles mild af cramps. Haha that moment when you're waiting for deliveries and they take forever😂

MrsGrealish · 10/04/2022 14:27

@MamaMorg01 totally agree though. I will 100% cave when I see other people testing. I have zero willpower 🙄

MamaMorg01 · 10/04/2022 14:33

@MrsGrealish haha it's okay I'm exactly the same😬 x

ArcEnCiel2022 · 10/04/2022 15:52

@MamaMorg01 @MrsGrealish I notice more the cramps when I'm trying to sleep!
I'm the same with the deliveries, DP doesn't know about all the tests I have 😂 last month I collected the deliveries at a pick up point, I didn't want them to arrive at home because he's working from home and I'm not, so there was no way I could intercept them 😂 Could you intercept them already or are you still staring out the window?

@T4Opal I see... Yes apparently Covid can mess up with the cycle. I usually test too early as well, not a good habit, but I can't help it!

MrsGrealish · 10/04/2022 16:06

@ArcEnCiel2022 he dandered out to the garage and Amazon prime literally pulled up. Needless to say I was waiting at the door, grabbed the box and threw it in my drawer 😊 job done 🙌

ArcEnCiel2022 · 10/04/2022 16:40

@MrsGrealish perfect, well done! 😁

GeraniumCedarwood · 10/04/2022 17:15

@MrsGrealish well done 😂 I think you’ve inspired me to do some Amazon ordering.

How everyone’s weekends been? I was at wedding yesterday - I did have one small glass of Prosecco as I’ve had no symptoms at all, and fed up of keeping my life on hold. Feeling a bit guilty about it today though!

GoT1904 · 10/04/2022 17:18

@MrsGrealish 😂😂😂 congrats on the stealthy delivery of your tests. I really wish I had some cheapies now

Have had periods of my nipples burning intensely today! I know it's likely still hormones adjusting after the pill, but it's still playing on my mind! I think it'd be impossible to have proper symptoms at this stage tho??

Eeeee some of you are testing soon. I'm excited xxx

MrsGrealish · 10/04/2022 17:38

@GeraniumCedarwood go for it!

Now I have all these tests I'm dying to test. I'm at the most 7dpo so it would be an absolute negative.

MrsGrealish · 10/04/2022 17:50

Pure craic with the Amazon driver though..literally winked at me and said enjoy your day😅 not sure what he thought was in the package

Graceybaby · 10/04/2022 18:32

Hey ladies!

Hope you've all had lovely weekends, just having 5 minutes to myself so thought I'd check in!

Sounds like some of you have had the same cramps as me! Literally the last few days I've had the worst lower back pain along with on and off mild cramps. I'm thinking maybe it's because it's my first cycle off the pill and my bodies just adjusting.. keep thinking maybe it's implantation but surely you wouldn't have cramps for that long? And I'm sure they've been there since 4/5dpo so I'm not hopeful.

No other symptoms boobs are a little tender and I'm feeling abit headachy but just have a feeling it's going to be a BFN this month.. have already ordered some vitamin D for next cycle as I don't think I'm getting enough.

I am going to test in the morning but not expecting a BFP 🙈

Look back through my old posts when TTC my son and I actually felt implantation on 8DPO so holding out hope for that.

@GeraniumCedarwood I'm dying for a glass of wine! I have a wedding next Friday so at least I'll know by then.. it will be the one thing that will cheer me up! 🤣

ArcEnCiel2022 · 10/04/2022 18:50

@Graceybaby about the cramps I have, I don't read anything in them because 2 cycles ago I had something similar, and then bfn. Last cycle no cramps, and bfn. So at least for me I don't think they mean anything... No other symptom at the moment for me. Good luck for your test tomorrow morning! I haven't decided yet if I'll test too or wait one or two days more...

@GeraniumCedarwood my understanding is that at this stage a glass of alcohol shouldn'tt do anything... I try to avoid if I can, but it's difficult to act 2 weeks per month like if you were pregnant!

PositivelyPrehistoricMom · 10/04/2022 19:42

Hello, new to mumsnet. I’m 43, 44 in June and I have a gorgeous 5 year old but as you’ve probably realised, I was considered a geriatric mum at 38 with her so now I’m positively prehistoric! We had a miscarriage in Dec 2019 at a few days shy of the 12 week milestone and we’ve been unsuccessful really since. I’ve been tracking my cycle regularly now since then and I have a funny cycle, sometimes I’m 25 days sometimes more like 29 or 30 but I’ve come to recognise symptoms and tried to work around them. We baby dance when we can (hard with a child that isn’t keen on staying in her own bed!) and I’m now in my 2 week wait. Aunt Flo due on Wednesday but even if she doesn’t make an appearance it might be a longer cycle for me. It’s so difficult as I’m DESPERATE to take a test but also pretty scared at the results either way. I’d be sad if it wasn’t positive but I’d be a mess if it was given the last time I was pregnant. I know I'm pretty old now and all the odds are stacked against me but I’m just not finished giving up trying. I want a second baby so much, do feel nauseous at moments throughout the days (as I did with my daughter) but I also get like that when I’m anxious so trying SO HARD to not read into “symptoms”! Any advice for an over 40 over anxious person?!! Thank you

T4Opal · 10/04/2022 21:59

Argh my boobs are super hot, like radiating through my pyjama t-shirt. I’ve decided I’m going to do a frer on Tuesday morning although I did get an indent on that 2 months ago which was disappointing. I’ll be at least 8dpo then and that’s the day I got my positive last pregnancy. Also still got random twinges coming and going on both sides of my womb?!
