Anyone else at a similar stage or also in the 2WW? First month trying again after miscarriage so would love to chat it through with others and have some company!

Hi,

I'm 1dpo...first month TTC since my hubby had a vasectomy reversal.

MrsRosaline · 14/03/2022 16:35

Good luck @CherylPorter350 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Did you do anything particular this month? OPKS etc.

OP posts:
CherylPorter350 · 14/03/2022 16:40

@MrsRosaline I've used easy@home opk with the app to read them. Got my peak on CD12, DTD just about every day for the last 6 days!

No idea if we have sperm returned yet...official SA isnt until May.

The TWW feels like forever eh!

I'm sorry to hear about your loss...fingers crossed for a rainbow baby this month.

Did you use opk or anything?

Coopsy92 · 14/03/2022 16:57

Hi, I’m ttc no2. This is our fourth month, I had a chemical two months ago and ovulated on
Friday or Saturday so am 2 or 3 dpo. Hate the tww!! Really want to try not to symptom spot this month. Last month I had all the symptoms but I wasnt pregnant obviously. Good luck to everyone

MrsRosaline · 14/03/2022 16:59

Yes. I used to track obsessively... I had three different brands of OPKS I used, and I also monitored BBT. But since Christmas I've stopped and just use the clearblue advanced with the flashing or peak.

Peak on CD12 sounds healthy! Fingers crossed the sperm are back. How long can it take for them to return? @CherylPorter350

2WW is awful. Just awful. I've felt a bit dizzy today and thought "hmm I wonder..." and then have to scold myself that it is literally impossible at 1DPO 😂

@Coopsy92 I am also TTC #2. I had a miscarriage in Sep, and a miscarriage in Jan, despite not having any issues with DD five years ago. Sorry to hear about your chemical. 😔

Coopsy92 · 14/03/2022 17:35

@MrsRosaline I'm so sorry to hear about your losses. I hope this is the month you get a sticky baby. I've been using opks so far but not tried anything else really. How about you? I have a dd too, she is 16 months now x

MrsRosaline · 14/03/2022 17:39

Me too. 🤞🏻 We DTD a bit less this month and I didn't track bbt or anything. I'm trying to focus on just relaxing and not getting stressed. Also had some reflexology.

Hoping I can join in!

Sorry about your losses flowers 💐

I’ve also had two miscarriages, one in Nov and Jan. TTC #2 since last July. Fingers crossed this month is the one! I’m 3-4dpo, used opks and forts month doing BBT which would all incidate I ovulated Thursday/Friday. The tww is dragging so badly! Trying to distract myself and not just symptom spot the whole time

How you all doing? x

CherylPorter350 · 14/03/2022 18:02

@MrsRosaline it can take up to 3 months for sperm to return....but it can be quicker so 🤞

MrsRosaline · 14/03/2022 18:07

@CherylPorter350 🤞🏻🤞🏻 did you put your husband on any supplements or anything? Mine has a cocktail of vitamins I set out for him each week 😂

@Hello47 hi! Sounds like we had miscarriages around the same time. No idea why I had them.. I suspect stress, although it doesn't seem a good enough reason tbh.

I got my peak Saturday so I'm assuming that means ovulation on Sunday. Not 100% sure without BBT, but the EWCM has definitely dried up now. I had A LOT of it Tuesday-Friday!

Hello47 · 14/03/2022 18:23

Yeah same here, hospital has said it’s just one of those things and likely due to chromosome abnormality. I really hope there’s nothing wrong. But I had my DS so I know it’s possible! My first was quiet late at 10 weeks so took a long time to recover, wonder if my second was just because my body hadn’t fully healed yet. Really sucks though

My peak was Thursday morning so think I might have ovulated that night. Dtd Tuesday, Thursday and Friday so hopefully that was enough!

CherylPorter350 · 14/03/2022 18:23

@MrsRosaline haha yeah DH is on a cocktail of supplements...has been since before the reversal

Hello47 · 14/03/2022 18:24

Maybe I should start my some husband vitamins 🤣

MrsRosaline · 14/03/2022 18:52

I would @Hello47 ! DH wasn't on anything May-august and we had no luck. I put him on impryl in august and we conceived first month. Obviously it ended in loss but I do think they worked!

OP posts:
Hello47 · 14/03/2022 20:40

Might be worth trying then!

Also sorry for terribly typed messages, I’ve just looked back and apparently I can’t string a sentence together properly! Must be over tired 😅

PeanuttyButter · 14/03/2022 21:53

I'm going to jump on, although not feeling positive this month. 4dpo ovulated late so trying to ward off early AF with progesterone pessaries following 3 miscarriages in the last 12months. Thinking about testing at the weekend. Good luck to us all.

Lifeafterloss22 · 14/03/2022 23:09

Hiya,

I’m currently 1DPO, and very similar story.

We have been trying since July 2021.
MMC in November at 10 weeks, then a chemical pregnancy in January 2022.

Praying this will be the month, it’s so hard after loss. I wish I could “relax” about it, but I don’t think that will ever happen!

The two week wait feels like the longest period. Challenging myself to do something nice everyday now for 2 weeks, just to try and take my mind off things. Last month I convinced myself I had every pregnancy symptom then my period showed up 2 days late.

Good luck to you all ✨✨✨

MrsRosaline · 15/03/2022 10:02

@PeanuttyButter sorry to hear about your losses. Hope the progesterone works. Were you given it by a GP? I am worried I have low progesterone. It was checked on CD23 in January, and apparently it was "fine" but I would've been pregnant then so I think it should've been higher than it was. Can't seem to get anywhere with anyone... I don't want to sit around and wait to miscarry each time if it is a simple progesterone fix!!

I also feel anxious @Lifeafterloss22. Promised myself I would chill out in this 2WW but it's hard after loss. I keep thinking 'If I am pregnant I'll probably lose it anyway' which I know isn't the right way to think 🤦🏻‍♀️

I would *@Hello47* ! DH wasn't on anything May-august and we had no luck. I put him on impryl in august and we conceived first month. Obviously it ended in loss but I do think they worked!
@MrsRosaline hi! Sorry to pop on, do you take the impryl too? My OH is on it I just read good reviews but I take it too x
MrsRosaline · 15/03/2022 10:22

Hey. I don't take the impryl, no. I took seven seas and pregnacare and both messed with my cycle so I was reluctant to take another multivitamin. I now take a combination of wild nutrition products! Have you had any success with it? @RMS0209

OP posts:
RMS0209 · 15/03/2022 10:28

@MrsRosaline Hey!
Thanks for getting back to me
Me and OH were both taking the "well woman his & hers pregnacare" but I read good reviews about Impryl so I have been taking it.
I have heard the seven seas have messed up a few peoples cycles so I am going to avoid it!
Oh I will need to look at wild nutrition.
No success yet, only month 2 of it but we will see Smile

MrsRosaline · 15/03/2022 10:43

Good luck @RMS0209. DH has "mild" motility issues, and I have read that impryl can help hugely with this...Although the sperm analysis was done just days after he recovered from Covid so it might've been more to do with that. I am actually getting pregnant - just not keeping them, which surely suggests the motility isn't an issue!?

OP posts:
RMS0209 · 15/03/2022 10:49

@MrsRosaline thank you! good luck to you too.
happy to hear you are getting pregnant sad to hear it doesn't stick... personally I wouldn't say it was mobility issues then?
i have started reflexology I went yesterday she wants me to try get a progesterone test. Have you tried anything like that? I will keep an eye out and send anything through that I think may benefit you. X

PeanuttyButter · 15/03/2022 10:52

@MrsRosaline I'm under the consultant for recurrent miscarriage. She's identified a short luteal phase possibly due to low progesterone and a clotting disorder. 5dpo today. Longest tww yet haha
