@Nypie I'm surviving I had a good day Wednesday, reduced nausea, yesterday was tough, was in the cattle barn and the smell hit me like a tonne of bricks, ended up having to lie down for the rest of the evening to recover 😂 and back to being sick this morning, the joys! Just really want a date for my scan now so I have a focus for the near future

@FourOclock aww bless you. My friend had really bad morning sickness and said the travel bands helped her.

I'm definitely getting period like cramps today at 11DPO, so expecting AF to arrive imminently.

@Nypie you sound very organised and I love to see a fellow planner in here!

We're planning to start TTC in July and I already have a very good idea of the exact ovulation date because I've been using Ovia to track my cycles for around a year now 😉

So here's the plan I've had this year:
Jan 22 - started taking folic acid every day
Mar-Apr - the 'last hurrah' holiday with my DH before we start TTC
Apr - getting my copper coil removed because I've reached my limit of painful and heavy periods
May-Jun - going to be focusing on losing all that holiday weight 🤣 and getting back to a regular exercise schedule plus healthier eating
Jul - we can finally start TTC as per my agreement with DH!

Having a plan for each month does seem to help the time pass by more quickly!

@Nypie what a great plan... mine was to lose weight but that had not happened in the slightest... if anything I'm a few pounds heavier 😳

@OCM19 sorry about your BFN, you're not out yet so hopefully AF doesn't show this weekend

@Amber17 I currently have one FRER left from my unplanned pregnancy/miscarriage last year. Will buy some internet cheapies when I start trying.

@Dreamingof3 sorry to hear you're unwell! Sinus infections are horrible!

You’ll probably all think I’m absolutely bonkers as I’m not planning on TTC until next year so this thread isn’t even for me. However I’ve been a bit obsessed with lurking on MN for the past couple of months and couldn’t resist having a look on this thread.

Just wanted to say how excited reading here has made me, as this will be me this time next year! It’s been really helpful for me to read through and see all of the info about ovulation etc. its so informative and helped me to feel very prepared in advance.

So yeah i just wanted to jump on and say thank you to OP for starting the thread and also good luck to everyone that’s TTC! Congrats to those already pregnant, hope you all have successful year xx

@Amber17 I think I have a couple of clear blue, one FRER and a handful of internet cheapies from baby #1 which I think are all out of date. I’m going to resist buying more though and just hope they’ll still work haha

I managed to lose 18lbs....put about 10 back on 😱 almost looking forward yo gestational diabetes at this point as at least I know that I can lose weight then 😂

@tryingtryinggone I’ve got one that’s just gone out of date (from what turned out to just be a 4 day hangover instead of nausea for any other reason) but assuming they don’t just stop working!

@Nypie Nope no further surge, OPKs are all only the control line, but I think what happened is that my surge was very short and late afternoon, so it’s 3.5 days from that to temp rise (I miscounted before as NC ignored my last AF as a withdrawal bleed so thinks I’m on day 40-something and the graph is getting tricky to read!). I guess I just need to plan for DTD across a slightly longer period in case it’s either a slow egg release after surge or a slow temp response after ovulation.

Welcome @Pondz I’m sure there’s other ladies lurking too - I’m like that on the pregnancy board hoping it’s me posting there later this year!

@OCM19 I'm either 10 or 11 DPO too. I'm pretty tired but feeling normal otherwise. I've got my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

@Nypie very organised there! Wish I was too. Although I have been ok at taking vitamins and getting out for longer walks.

The wait for my internet cheapies is so annoying but they were £4.95 for 10 as opposed to one for around the same price in the supermarket today. Hopefully they will arrive tomorrow.

@FourOclock is it somewhat of a releif to have the symptoms, kinda like bubs is still like I'm still here mum! Wheb do you think you'll get your scan? I 'd be so lost if I was at your point. Everything crossed for this little bean...I'm already calling girl!

@Sunshine0987 ohh love to see this. July is soo close you must be so excited and I'm happy to hear planning has helped it go quicker! I'll probably do a similar thing when we start trying so theres something positive in each month even if it's not a baby.

@Amber17 I love this about tracking you can get in tune with your body do research find answers without having to wait for a dr to see you.

@Pondz you are most welcome to post here! I started it as I had been lurking for far too long on the TTC and pregnancy boards getting excited. I was glad to find I was not alone in my craziness 😂

@tryingtryinggone glad it's not just me, I have zero willpower when it comes to food. Anything remotely stressful and I comfort eat, such a bad habit!

@Dreamingof3 you've done amazing! Wish I was 8lb down... I had awful sickness with my first pregnancy and lost weight in the first trimester although I would never wish for the sickness, at least that would be an ok side effect 🙈🙈

@Nypie DH thinks girl too! Yeah it is weirdly reassuring feeling so crap I'd only be worrying if I had no symptoms. I'm hoping my scan will be beginning of May fingers crossed, hopefully find out Monday!

@Nypie thanks for checking, I'm doing OK thank you - decided not to miss this month after the chemical (I was undecided but someone told me you're more fertile straight after!) but currently on day 7 of flashing smiles...!! Hopefully will turn static soon :) How are you?

@Nypie we aren’t trying until next year because we are currently trying to buy a house which is taking longer than we thought and then next year we have a big trip to America in April so as soon as that’s over we will be getting right to it!

@WingingIt09 it’s so hard not to lurk! I keep telling myself to just leave it because it’s torture, it’s a whole year away and it just feels like the days drag waiting for it. Reading on here has made me so excited though I couldn’t help myself

I’m 12DPO today and sat waiting patiently for my Amazon order to arrive so I can test! I’ve got really bad cramps though so think AF if on her way. Good luck @DanceWithYourBalloon if you’re testing this weekend too x

@OCM19 let us know 🤞 I had really bad cramps with my second...made me think after was coming so didn't test until I was 5 days late and got a bfp!

@OCM19 @Dreamingof3 same here! I was getting cramps for about 5 days leading up to my positive test, fingers crossed!

Hi. I haven't been on in a while, is it okay if I jump in here?

In 10 days I'm getting my birth control implant removed and then we'll be TTC. I'm a nervous, excited, impatient wreck waiting so I'd love to have some people who get it to chat with.

It’s exciting so many on here are trying… time seems to have flown!
I am mid cycle currently and it’s made me realise I’m not ready to try for #2 next month. Will probably delay a couple of months as we have a couple of weddings to go to as well. Definitely got cold feet here 😂
