@WingingIt09 that's rubbish! As if you didn't have enough to contend with 😢 hope you're feeling ok with everything?

So I'm in my TWW now and I feel like I might be making up symptoms in my head 🤦🏻‍♀️ or at least trying to connect them to being pregnant. Has anyone else had really sore boobs after ovulation? They've both been sore for a couple of days. Am I just being stupid with hoping I'm pregnant first try?! Lol!

Because I am terrible at waiting I'm guessing I can do an early test 6 days before period is due. Is that right? I've got some first response ones.

If I can, that means I can test from Saturday. x

FourOclock · 21/03/2022 12:48

I had really sore boobs after ovulation @hevann! You never know! Another early sign for me was discharge in the TWW on and off where normally I would have nothing at all Smile

Duckandsarah · 21/03/2022 13:08

@hevann sore boobs is a thing, mine hurt when I knocked them in my tww!
One of my implantation signs was diarrhoea(brilliant) and a stuffy nose for the days following that, but they were the only things out of the ordinary and in fact that’s only recognised with hindsight! Good luck.

@WingingIt09 hope you’re feeling ok!

WingingIt09 · 21/03/2022 14:00

Thanks guys, thankfully the PMS doesn't seem too bad this month, although maybe it's just masked by covid symptoms. I'm feeling rubbish but probably not helped by having to actually parent my DDs today whilst DH is working. I'd love to be able to just lie in bed!

WingingIt09 · 21/03/2022 14:02

@hevann sore boobs can definitely be a pregnancy thing, although since having kids mine now hurt every cycle so can also be PMS 🙄 Hope it's the former for you!
I came across this site on another thread the other day which may interest some for stats on how likely a positive test is at different DPO. www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/results-by-day-past-ovulation.php

Aw no @WingingIt09 you're really having a shit time of it!

How is everyone doing??

I literally convinced myself I was pregnant. Day of period toda got some spotting then just put my cup in cause I can not face it right now 😂😂 but atleast by tonight I'll know. Got a positive on a Lh test which can mean pregnancy... or period. Why do we do this to ourselves.

Dreamingof3 · 21/03/2022 16:21

@Nypie let us know!

I got a positive opk yesterday so should put my cycle at about 37 days this time....if its the same the next cycle I'll be due on on the day we go on holiday 🥴 worst nightmare!

Nyxxie · 21/03/2022 18:08

Help.. the TWW is already driving me crazy.. only 2DPO and I'm already symptom spotting, even though I KNOW it's too early! 😩

hevann · 21/03/2022 18:18

@Nyxxie I'm 4dpo and I am exactly the same! I can't deal with this waiting. I've got sore boobs so obviously I'm pregnant 🙄 the symptom spotting is horrendous! Lol! Hopefully be able to do a FRER at the weekend 🤞🏻 x

Nyxxie · 21/03/2022 18:27

@hevann ooh fingers crossed for you, that's not toooo long to wait! It's mad isn't it, I even found myself symptom spotting before I'd actually ovulated 🙄😂

WingingIt09 · 21/03/2022 19:01

@Dreamingof3 ah that's annoying. Hopefully it's a shorter cycle next time so instead you can be DTD on holiday! Mine coming early has meant that we might not be able to try until mid-end ofJune 😫 we need to avoid baby being born a particular date at end of Jan so I don't want to be due mid Jan-in the first half of Feb. If I continue to have 26 day cycles then by starting in May as planned I'd be 38 weeks at the end of Jan 🤦‍♀️

@Nypie hope AF didn't turn up in the end! Let us know

@Nyxxie @hevann the TWW is crazy, hopefully it goes quickly for you xx

Nypie · 21/03/2022 19:47

@Dreamingof3 @WingingIt09 sooo AF is not here I dont normally have spotting so have literaly marched down to two different co ops to get 2 pregnancy tests might take one before I go to bed. OH is watching comedies in the bath meanwhile I'm having a meltdown 😂😂

WingingIt09 · 21/03/2022 19:50

@Nypie definitely take a test!

OP posts:
PrettyPolly92 · 21/03/2022 20:20

@Nypie Do it 🙊

QueenBee22 · 21/03/2022 20:49

@Nyxxie the 2WW is just cruel. I am 6DPO today and dying to test but trying to hold out until the weekend. I can't take the constant disappointment. Hopefully the 2WW goes quickly for all of us!

Nyxxie · 21/03/2022 21:01

@QueenBee22 it really is. Trying not to think about it but I keep checking my apps to see how many DPO I am.. as if it would have somehow gone up! Hope it goes quick for you and fingers crossed for a BFP at the weekend.

I'm hoping I actually have a chance to test this time, as AF arrived when I was only 9DPO last cycle. Hopefully just a one off as it was my first proper cycle since the pill, but yet another thing to worry about!

dearhummingbirds · 21/03/2022 21:16

@Nypie fingers crossed!

HeathenPlayingHouse · 21/03/2022 22:22

CD67 and I thought that AF was going to turn up today due to a tiny amount of spotting this morning, but as yet the witch is a no-show. Getting bored of waiting...

HippeePrincess · 21/03/2022 22:44

Sorry to hear some of you are having a tough time of it what with covid, af turning up early, uninvited or failing to turn up at all!

I’m starting to get nervous about coming off my contraception in 3/4 weeks time and what the hell my cycles going to do. I’ve been on hormonal contraception continuously for 6.5 years so who knows what will happen. This particular one I’ve been on a year and for what I think is the first time I got mid cycle spotting and I can’t think of a reason for it!

dearhummingbirds · 21/03/2022 23:17

@HippeePrincess I think coming off the pill or otherwise has completely different effects for everyone. I came off mine during the beginning of the first lockdown, as I’d be on it for over 10 years, for my skin more than anything, and wanted to give my body a break. Took me almost a year to get back to normal. I don’t say that to scare you at all - apologies if it does. That’s just what my body seems to do, it was the same when I went on when I was 15 due to heavy periods and acne and stopped at 17. Think my hormones have always been all over the place.

PrettyPolly92 · 22/03/2022 11:20

Hello everyone, wishing everyone a speedy recovery from covid 🌸

I'm feeling very down at the moment, I've previously spoken on here about how my partner has very cold feet about TTC #1... he keeps saying "when we have a baby..." and "I hope our children will..." etc but I'm absolutely terrified he's not going to be "ready" by when we've agreed to start trying. It's literally all I think about and the more time we wait the more I worry we'll have problems and the longer we'll have to wait for our baby. I've tried speaking to him and he keeps just reassuring me that we will have a baby but I don't want it to seem like I'm putting pressure on him either.

I came off my pill 18 months ago (his idea) and just been using withdrawal/cycle tracking since.

Im interested to see if anyone else's partner had cold feet too? And how I can maybe bring him around without nagging him? 🤣

NarnieJoy · 22/03/2022 11:59

@PrettyPolly92 I would love to convince my DH to start earlier, but he has been working towards a goal of July. I think he wants the opportunity to keep working on himself with the knowledge that in July we will get on and he knows we will never be fully ready.

When have you and your partner set a goal for starting TTC?

FourOclock · 22/03/2022 13:08

My DH has had cold feet with all three of ours. He wasn't keen to start TTC with the first at all, kept over worrying about it and often says if the decision had been up to him he would just never have bitten the bullet and said okay let's try, because it seemed so daunting. Even this time round he's pretty scared Grin

PrettyPolly92 · 22/03/2022 13:27

@FourOclock That sounds exactly like my DP 🤣 We have a dog and he's such a great dog dad I know he'd be an even better Dad to a baby, my ovaries ache when I see him babying our dog 🙈 What made him come around to the idea?

@NarnieJoy Thats understandable! My DP has said April which is fast approaching and I just can't see him taking the leap yet 🥴 doesn't help that I'm due to ovulate on 2nd of April!
