How are you feeling atm? Hopefully no sickness?

Eeek it's starting to feel real now I've had my coil out! Also started my period the day after so from the start of April we really will be TTC! We are on our "honeymoon" (original one was a covid cancellation) during my fertile window so just going to forget about it and go with the flow for BD until May or June. I want to just enjoy the holiday, not be worrying about EWCM 🤣

@narniejoy sorry you're out for this month, hope you're ok

I wish I knew what my body was doing- CD64 and PreMom gave my OPK a 7.2!

I just want AF to show up so I can be miserable and then start afresh. Is that so much to ask?

@WingingIt09 feeling okay! So so tired and waves of nausea but nothing major so far

@heathenplayinghouse not quite the same but I'm on cycle day 22 and not even a hint of a positive ovulation test yet, so I feel like I'm going to have another long cycle (last was over 50 days but first off the pill!)

@Dreamingof3 Long cycles suck! My last one was 77days, so I'm not far off.

Fingers crossed yours settle once the pill is fully out of your system!

@Graceybaby as soon as he gets home I will haha 😆 DTD yesterday as well so hoping we're covered. Hope your cycles regulate quickly so you can start TTC ☺️

@alwaysseeingstars I'll be testing monday if period doesn't arrvive. Feeling the same type of nausea I had with my last pregnancy (miscariage) and acid reflux and being more gassy then I've ever been...tmi 😂. If its negative will definitely be more careful until september if its poitive I'll count myself lucky!

@HeathenPlayingHouse hope AF shows up soon. I fee for you! It took 77 days for AF to rear her ugly head after coming off the pill and it was very frustrating!

@Nyxxie haha nope definitely not.... just showing up my poor ability to read and retain information I've read from they thread to my posts 😂😂 think I've done it twice with you and @NarnieJoy now.... don't know why other than you both having 'N' names...

Does anyone else secretly hope for a BFP before they are actually trying? We've been pretty reliable about using condoms and as far as I'm aware they've not split so it's highly unlikely to fall pregnant but still symptom spot 😑 I'm 9dpo and having occasional bouts of nausea... it's ridiculous but I have the urge to POAS even though I know it'll be negative.... there is no hope for me not to give into testing early when I am actually trying 🙈🙈

@WingingIt09 this is me every cycle 😂😂 though I really hope that when we're more safer I'll stop feeling this way otherwise I don't know how I'll cope.

@wingingit09 if I've just not picked up my ovulation this month then we'll be in with a chance 😅 It wouldn't be a disaster but I'd definitely feel a bit sad at missing out on all inclusive cocktails in May 🤣

@dearhummingbirds fair enough. We are waiting till May so that I'm not pregnant on our family holiday and to get past an exam I'm due to sit at work. It wouldn't be too much of a problem if I got pregnant early, where it would make a big financial difference for you!

@WingingIt09 @Nypie I am definitely like this 😭 I am SO ready for a baby my heart aches every time I see one or hear a pregnancy announcement and I get this twinge of excitement that I could be next. Me and OH are only using withdrawal method atm so every month I'm hoping one of them lil swimmers will nestle in before the big finale 😜

I'm having a nightmare atm though... My cycles have been between 23-29 days the last 6 months and I'm now on day 31 but got a BFN when I tested today 🥺

The two week wait is already killing me and I'm only 4dpo 😭 We DTD every other day during the fertile window, but I just keep reminding myself it's statistically very unlikely to happen first ever month trying!

On another note, I'm kinda nervous about telling work when the time comes, it's a really small firm, so we don't have HR as such, and no-one has ever gone on maternity there.. I've been there 6+ years and am fairly senior, but I just feel awkward about it all! Anyone have any experience/wisdom they can share?

@Dreamingof3 we've also got a holiday booked for June! I keep thinking if it is a BFN then I'll focus on getting in shape...and all inclusive cocktails 😂😂.

@PrettyPolly92 nice to know I'm not alone! I keep thinking about how excited my mum would be if I was pregnant. This exact same thing happend to me last cycle always under 29 days then had a 34 day cycle but mine was due to ovulating late due to stress. Do you know when you ovulated?

@TheOnlyException1 🤞🤞🤞its such an awkward situation maternity leave but 6 years at the company! You've earned it mine will be more like 6 months at the company 😂😂😂

Anyone else torturing themselves with pregnancy vlogs and other baby related things??

AF just arrived. A little disheartening but I was expecting it this month.

@NarnieJoy thank you so much for that article it really gives a good insight. I know my body may also still be adjusting from contraception so I'm not overly worried or stressed just now but always good to know our bodies early on. Just went and bought some vitamin b6 and TTC supplements as I hadn't taken any so far as they're both supposed to help luteal phase.

@PrettyPolly92 I was exactly the same I became so quickly obsessed with it and took a break this month and feels so much better. I'm going to go back with BBT this month I think as I never really stressed when only doing that. Good luck for when you start actively trying

I can’t, I’m afraid. But I’m sure it will be absolutely fine! It’s easy to get worked up over these things; I know I am in the knowledge I recently started where I am. But it’s a course of life. I’m sure they’ll be supportive!

@Nypie a few vloggers / instagrammers I already followed have started families recently so definitely feel like I’ve dipped my toe in the water watching their content. As I don’t have any family or friends at the same stage of life / relationships, I’ve found it helpful.

@lj2022 sorry for AF. I know some ladies try to think about or treat themselves to the things they can only do non pregnant like wine, rare steak, hot baths, certain spa treatments, all the cheeses!

@dearhummingbirds thats exactly how I started out watching makeup/fashion vloggers then they'd get pregnant and I would watch their journeys now I'm just actively seeking out vloggers 😂. Definitely relate to the life stages most of my friends are single or older and past the baby making days. Bit sad to not have others to go through it with but they would be ridiculously excited to be aunties.

@Nypie Agreed; I’m a bit sad too. For me it’s younger friends, single friends, or tbh a lot of my friends and both my sister and my partner’s sister don’t want children. Although I think a couple will be excited if I have kids, I am actually a little worried that I’ll lose a few friends when ours lives aren’t compatible. Guess that’s the ordinary course of things.

@Nypie I'm trying to stay away from it all, I feel happy for everyone who has a baby but because I worry I'll have problems getting pregnant I'm trying not to look at any of it for now ☺️

@lj2022 AF showed up through the night for me too, kind of sad but also kind of relieved this time... I've had two days of convincing myself there was a problem with my cycles because I know I'm not pregnant 🤣

@Nypie I ovulated on CD15 so was definitely expecting AF around the normal time, she loves to mess around!
