TTC with one Fallopian tube

Anyone here TTC after Ectopic surgery or with one Fallopian tube due to medical reasons that want to support each other? Or if anyone has any successful stories conceiving with one tube welcome to bring positivity to the post x

@Mummyme87 I'm not sure if this is indent, I'll post a picture of todays test and yesterdays test together in a moment, it's frustrating isn't it x

@LJF234 I'm not sure with clearblue ones but I think yes you're coming into a fertile stage and when it's a solid smiley you'll ovulate 12/36 hours later? I think 😅 best get to bed 😉

@HoneyLemon29 definitely a decent line! Hopefully stronger tomorrow! I’m tempted to get FRER even though I swore I wouldn’t

@LJF234 I think you need to do daily tests until you get a static smiley face then Ov will be 12-36hrs

@LJF234 that means you're in the fertile window - you can have several flashing smilies before you'll get a static one. But yeah, you're def. closer and it makes sense to get busy :) Good luck!

@Mummyme87 I'd definitely get a frer. Cheapies aren't always particularly sensitive, so if your CB is more sensitive I'd say it might not be an evap. Do you have a pic?

@NewtoTTC87 thank you ❤️. Fingers crossed you're right and I've had a couple of chances. Just depends on the flexibility of that damn tube! I feel bad as I've already resigned myself to it not being it this cycle. Not a good attitude, but think it's self preservation

@Mummyme87 I know FRER have a bad name but honestly I've never had an issue with them, I'll take another in the morning until it's clearer x
I am still spotting that's what's worrying me, I don't need a pad it's light light pink when I wipe x

Hi, please may I join this thread? I had an ep and left tube removal in Jan and hoping to start ttc again next month. We've been referred to the fertility clinic and for tests Inc. Hsg test but wondering whether to wait till I've had hsg before ttc again. Has anyone got any advice? Also any advice for supplements/vitamins... Previously I took "seven seas trying for a baby" while ttc and switched to "pregnacare" when pregnant. Thank you ✨🌈xxxx

@MrsL2021 I think I'm on another thread with you as well as this one 💜
I'm not sure about the HSG but sorry you had to go through ectopic. The only vitamins I take is folic acid x

You don't have to wait to try, but you can't have the hsg (assuming this is the dye in the tubes) if you are pregnant. So just bear that in mind.
I think any of those supplements are fine with TTC. I take folic acid and omega 3 xxx

Thank you @myrainbowjourney ❤️ we just don't know whether to wait because you're more likely to conceive after hsg and worried that it may me another EP if we try before. I have so many paranoid thoughts. Deep down I think we should just go for it xxxx

I'd just go for it. Doesn't really matter if you're more likely to conceive if you've already managed to!
When they took your tube away they should have given you an indication as to whether the other one looked healthy. I know they can't say if it's blocked, but it will hopefully give you the confidence that you can carry on.
I totally understand the thoughts, we all have them. And I guess there's no right answer. But I'd just go for it, knowing you have the hsg in your back pocket if it hasn't happened by then xx

I'm feeling okay but I'm so anxious to know where baby is 🥺 I'll be going in for blood tests monitoring when I'm 4 weeks then a scan when my levels are 1500 x

I know what you mean with thinking about possible causes for the ectopic. With me I didn't realise that I had conceived, and went into an X-ray room with my son for his X-ray at the time the baby would've been going through the tubes. I always wonder if this could've been a cause x

@HoneyLemon29 @MrsL2021 I don't think anything causes an ectopic except bad luck and having problems in the tube. The doctor told me really tiny hair like structures help to move the egg down the tube, and even those not functioning quite right can just cause the egg to get stuck.

Never think it's anything you've done xxx

@HoneyLemon29 totally understand you'll be anxious. You have some nice steps ahead which will keep you distracted, and hopefully it won't be too long until you see it on a scan 🤞🏼

@NewtoTTC87 I am fine thank you. I have now officially entered the TWW so I am just trying to find things to keep me distracted. I feel ok though - couldn't really have done any more than we have so just need to keep everything crossed.

@myrainbowjourney thank you, I remember a doctor also telling me sometimes the hair in the tube just move slower ☹️ I still haven't actually got my Pathology report back from surgery yet, I don't know why it takes months 😕
