Anyone else about to start TTC a November baby?

Hi, hope its ok to join? Channeling some positive vibes in the hope of a Nov baby :) I'm TTC #1 cycle 2, going to try and use OPK's this month but not really sure what to do with them - they are some cheapies off amazon so hoping they are easy to read... any advice appreciated!

Last two months I've had 34/35 day cycles which feels like ages, so will be no testing for me until early March. Anyone else got a longer cycle? Hope you're all ok!

Did my clear blue today and got a flashing smiley, so hoping that means that the chemical hasn’t messed this cycle up. Got some cheap opks too to double check.
@Ft23You are looking for the test line to be as dark as the control line, and most say not to use fmu, test after 10am. Also when they start getting darker test twice a day, so there’s less chance of you missing your peak. If you have an issues/questions, then just shout, sure there are a few of us on here that can help out

Hey everyone! So, I've got a question, my sister suggested I start taking Mollers for omega-3, for an extra fertility boost. I haven't heard anything about it has anyone else tried it?

@IsabelHerna no but interested to see what answers you get as I’ve been looking into different supplements but it’s just a minefield!

Finally starting my OPKs from today. The chemical made my period last for about 8 days!

@Coastaldreamer glad it’s finally stopped, not yet, still low opks, but on day 5 of flashing smileys now 🤷🏼‍♀️. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. I’m on cd13, and I normally ovulate on cd15, so hoping cheap opk at lunchtime will show its on the rise. Hopefully my body is using the time to make a nice thick lining for the egg 🤞🏻. You using cheap opks or cheaper blue?

I just use the cheap ones as I find they work well for me. I'll do one a day till they get darker and then twice a day. I'm on CD 10 but I think ov will be later this month x

Starting ttc after this cycle (CD 1 should be 27th Feb), if I fell straight away it would be a November baby as I’m always induced at 37 weeks.

@Coastaldreamer I was just using the cheap ones, but got a really good deal on the clear blue and used it with my first, so thought I’d use that too as it couldn’t hurt 🙈. Bit of an ott moment after the miscarriages

I'm now on CD18.

Decided to do some trakcing in the end this month, as been a year since I stopped and had some weird cycles.

No peak on OPKs at all yet (but I didn't manage to test Saturday as I was out all day).
Had a tiny bit of EWCM, over the weekend, but temps still low and steady at 36.4.
Going to continue DTD EOD until my temp rises and keep fingers crossed.

How is everyone else doing?

CD 9 or 10 for me today (not entirely sure when to count from this month as AF arrived in the evening!)

So I’m going to start testing and DTD from tomorrow, I usually ovulate on about day 17 and following SMEP this month for the first time. I’ve been full of a cold though so not sure how that will go!

CD13. I think peak has happened. OH has covid so he's feeling rough. Kinda wish I had done SMEP now😕

Is it normal to get so many dark OPKs?
Your CD11 one is about as dark as I ever see, and I will only ever see that on one stick. The others will be blank.
I've been testing twice a day. About 1pm and 6pm.

@pinkpirlie do you use the easy@home sticks? I used other IC ones which were never dark. I like this coz it's links to an Premom app on the phone
Though god knows. I had EWCM today and yesterday so hoping that's ovulation signs. Also don't judge me we DTD with masks on tonight 😂 he was surprisingly up for it😅 what has my life become 😂

I'm slightly panicking about the LH sticks now. Any other people think it's strange? I think it was dark at the start coz of chemical pregnancy but now I'm wondering

@MrsGrealish no, some women have a longer peak. Totally normal!👍

@MrsGrealish I have the femometer ones. They are different to the same brand ones I had last year, and I'm thinking they may not be as good... Although I struggled to get dark linked with them too, but darker than these.
Perhaps I will get some of the ones you're using and see how they go next month.

We’ve been a bit rubbish dtd this month! In fertile window.

Confused about my ovulation! The cheapy said high (but not completely peak) yesterday which was cd 11). Then today it was low! So I did a digital clear blue and smiley face was empty! I’m cd13.

What on earth does that mean?

If it means I’m already done for this month then that’s rubbish and also seems unlikely As I normally seem to ovulate days 13/14

I hate the empty faces. Any other signs of ovulation? LH levels fluctuate throughout the day

@BiscuitLover3678 ah that’s annoying, if it wasn’t quite peak hopefully it was just a test run, and you’ll have your peak in a few days like normal. I’m the other way low on cheapies, and flashing smileys for 7 days now 😩. Just dtd every other day and hoping it peaks soon. Chemical has def messed this cycle up, so I’m not optimistic this month.

I’m 6dpo today (i think) going by the ovulation sticks I did for the first time this month, and have had bouts of nausea today, front and back cramps and I’ve been ravenous. It’s ridiculous really because it’s too early, but I never get nausea. I hate the TWW symptom spotting 😩
