Continuation of our last thread…

All of us TTC and in different cycles and stages of our journey.

Helping eachother through the TWW, through the confusing days of OPK/BBT testing and charts, through all of the symptom spotting, the dreaded arrival of AF and the BFP announcements! 😊✨

January was a very lucky month for some who got their BFP and some of us are ready to make February our month!

With giggles and lots of support along the way.

@RMS0209 I’ve read a lot of people get their CB static the day before a peak OPK so maybe DTD incase OPK jumps tomorrow 😬

Oh no about the work covid people! And sorry you’re feeling sorry for yourself (big hugs).

Hair is nice and fresh thanks! But opks have gone right down for me so not sure when I’ll peak now. Waiting game again.

My OH plays football and he is always having to travel for games etc and he’s going away tomorrow and Saturday. It always seems to fall on the worse days of my cycle but I can’t tell him to cancel every month especially because he has a more relaxed approach to ttc than I do lol.

My app says I will ovulate on Sunday if that’s correct and the DTD tonight is it too early for Sunday?

OH will be back Sunday so we can DTD them too but it will be late at night.

I’m worrying before I’ve even peaked may not need to but can’t help it lol

Tonight if we dtd late then it will be like 3/4 days before ovulation if app is correct so sometimes the sperm can last can’t it? Any tips on how to make it survive in me longer? Lol

Do you think I should run out and get some preseed today? I don’t have any ewcm and does sperm need that to live in me? lol

Sunday could catch it if it’s ovulation day but depends if my egg sticks around for 24 hours or 12….

@newbiemg hope you are right with the CB, just wondering because I've only been testing with FMU but I’m at home today so i thought I’d try with lunch too.. just hopefully it hasn't messed it up. its like boots the pharmacy in this cupboard under the sink.
DTD yesterday/this morning (late night oops) so I will try either tonight or tomorrow too. Maybe try do another OPK tonight as well.
Phoned doc to try get some advice... first app they can give me is 1st March... not much use

Darn about the football.. could you DTD tomorrow before he goes or no time? I would 100% DTD tonight too though. and be ready to pounce on Sunday!

Well that's a massive weight off my shoulders girls, all was okay there's more than one lump but of no concern in the thyroid. 'Normal' thyroid nodules that may grow or disappear in time and my bloods were fine so now fingers crossed in pregs this month!!!!!!!!!!

@SMD16 so glad you got the all the clear and get preggers too just to top your month off 🤍✨

Hope everyone's Opk tests are going well!

I've started taking eve primrose oil and got some pre seed as I never seem to have much cm but watched a video which recommended do not use the amount that said on the box just more of a 'Fingers worth' no doubt that'll be amusing when it comes to bd'g🤣🤣🤣

Forgot to mention we're off to the hospital tomorrow for our fertility appointment.

If we don't manage to fall pregnant naturally & will need his swimmers that will be frozen I have no idea how it'll work , so I have so many questions like do we have to follow normal ivf route such as getting referred or can we ring them straight up etc.

Anyone think of any good questions I can ask?

Feel a bit sorry for oh as he's a bit nervous that he won't be able to umm how do I say it politely... 'perform into the cup' 🤣

Your OPKs sound like a pain @RMS0209! I would deffo DTD anyway, just in case! And I have everything crossed you managed to avoid the dreaded C word. All fine here! My OPKs went back to a vaguely low pre-ov state, which is the same as last month. Expecting peak over the weekend! I am starting to think OH is even more broody than me at this stage mind 😂

@Pickles91 I didn’t manage to get out to get some preseed but I’ll BD late tonight and early as possible on Sunday and hope for the best. Haven’t had my peak yet so who knows may not even be here by Sunday. Let’s hope it all lines up well 🤞

Yay for the darker OPKs! I have read a lot of threads where people got the CB static the day before the line ones. Not sure why perhaps it’s more sensitive. I hope it keeps going up for you 🤞

I’m currently doing a 4 hour hold as I didn’t realise I’m down to one strip! So saving it for a hopefully clear reading later. Have more arriving tomorrow x

Had a good week this week, slept every night this week so far since oh had his seizure back in November ... really trying to not stress this month as I'm so conscious this can affect baby making so trying to relax and be a lot more zen ... this approach seems to be working so far!! 💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️ but no doubt this zen will disappear when I have an awkward Opk test 🤣🤣🤣

Also got some friends round tomorrow eve so going to enjoy some wine whilst I can yay.

@Pops100 let us know how you get on tomorrow please!

Also is anybody still awake? Just done another test... 0.82, do you think I should BD tonight or tomorrow? I did last night.. just don't want to over do it... if that's possible!!

@RMS0209 I’m up waiting for OH to BD soon myself but I’m so tired haha

I don’t know how high your peaks get but my peak only went as high as 0.91 last cycle.

They went 0.84 and then 0.91 within 2 hours of eachother and then dropped back down.

I think if you dtd yesterday and do it tomorrow you should cover but also tonight would be good too but I think whatever you feel because I think you’re going to be covered either way. Good luck!

My OH isn’t home until midnight and I’m really forcing myself to stay awake and the last thing I want to do tonight is BD. It’s deffo going to be a quick hurry up and get the job done one tonight 😂… ttc is so romantic lol

@Newbiemg hope you got on good, you were right... premom registered last nights as peak and I'm ovulating today... hopefully that's true, will DTD tonight and hope that works.

I think I'm 4DPO and my intention was to spend at least the first few months of my TTC journey taking it easy and not worrying too much but clearly that only lasted about a week! @RMS0209 thank you! Had really bad cramping today and I'm not sure why, I hope I'm not ovulating really early or something!

Just had the fertility meeting, was hard actually we both sat there pretty quiet whilst we had to fill out loads of legal documents stating that if he died I can still use his sperm and have him as a legal father etc but I'm sure this would be done with everyone going through it as they store the sperm for 55 years just wasn't nice to hear and we have to wait 2 years till his treatment finishes!! I feel like that's bloody ages but I'm feeling thankful that it's there if we ever need it (fingers crossed we don't though).

But on a good note they are checking his swimmers today before freezing to just check they are all in good working order and they will let us know this afternoon so at least we can know how they are doing with us currently ttc!
