Continuation of our last thread…

All of us TTC and in different cycles and stages of our journey.

Helping eachother through the TWW, through the confusing days of OPK/BBT testing and charts, through all of the symptom spotting, the dreaded arrival of AF and the BFP announcements! 😊✨

January was a very lucky month for some who got their BFP and some of us are ready to make February our month!

With giggles and lots of support along the way.

@Pops100 I'm roughly 13-15dpo but not 100% certain. I'm now on day 30 for a normal 28day cycle - still mildly cramping but no period yet...getting nervous now 🤣

@newbiemg don't worry I ament taking the EPO this cycle either, I bought the supplements you said your sister gave you the impryl I think you said? so just taking them with my iron & vitamin D, I'm vegetarian so the iron is just an added extra 😃.

But best to not use if not 100% sure! Don't want a repeat of last cycle (which we are so sure was a one off) x

@RMS0209 oh yes the Impryl I think are good! I read such good reviews and my sister is convinced they worked for her. I think if I need to next cycle I will go back to them. They’re on the more expensive side for supplements but if they work it’s worth it

So I've decided not to do the tests as it's too much extra to think about at the minute. Due to Ovulate Monday so just going to enjoy our weekend and let it flow. I do have a lot of EWCM though so fingers crossed 🤞🏻

@SMD16 I think that’s a good idea. It’s early days and you don’t want any added stress as that won’t help. Plus it’s probably best to listen to your body if you get good signs of ovulation like ewcm and cramps etc. Sending baby dust ✨🤞

@Newbiemg they definitely smell better than the ones we used last cycle.. reminds me of dog treats smell this one is like orangey - potential buy for you next month IF need be! Are you doing anything different this cycle minus the EPO/supplements? X

Thanks both @Newbiemg & @RMS0209! This may be TMI but... when near ovulation and doing the BD do you find it painful near where your ovaries are?

sometimes I have a little pain on the right when I'm near ovulation when BD! you got that I'm guessing? Just this month or? X

@RMS0209 yes just this month, never had it before but could be to do with the position alongside ovulation being close maybe?

When I start OPKs I hope they’re positive straight away. Even though I’m only CD6 and know it will be negative I always secretly hope it’s positive…does anyone else do that lol

I get a little pain/twinge like that sometimes @SMD16 I think certain positions can make it feel worse. Also sometimes I can have like a sort of dull ache afterwards if ovulation is quite strong x

IT'S STARTED over here. Did our first insemination today. Was so nice to do it at my own house 😂 felt much more chilled. And seem to be getting better at PreSeed - I was def using wayyyyy too much last month. We are still getting the hang of the syringes but I think I got most of it where it needed to go, and got much more efficient with the FertiLilly. I feel much more relaxed this month and less weirded out by the entire process. No peak yet - it's a little early tbh as I'm on CD13 of a 30ish day cycle - but have flashing smiley and what I like to describe as "Medium rare" OPKs, and a super high cervix, so I think we are officially in the fertile zone. We will go again tomorrow and then will hopefully get a third go in on peak day or O day.

@lakejupiter I love your description "medium rare" has made me actually laugh out loud. Best of luck!

@SMD16 yes! It was uncomfortable last month for me , like sore but not too painful to get the job done if that makes sense 🤣🤣

@lakejupiter all good here thanks, flashy clear blues and actually have lines I can see on the cheapie.. so hopefully not too long 😃 you seem chilled (not that you weren't last month!) I think I got myself stressed for no reason so I'm taking a more chilled approach (hopefully) this month. Lots of luck for us I hope.
Must be so much easier and better to do it at home too, go you! X

@RMS0209 I just had a flashing CB. I’m bored today so I’ve done another one this afternoon. This morning was blank and just now flashing. I usually start my flashing faces CD5/6 so normal. The endless days of flashing faces begins lol

@Newbiemg haha the flashy smiley made me think of you when I got it yesterday 😂 but hey that's good! MUCH better than the O let the games begin!!!

@RMS0209 😂 they’re exciting the first couple of days and then I just feel like they’re taking the mick out of me lol…. But true better than the O!

These are today’s lines. I’m hoping for a peak closer to CD13 again rather than CD16 🤞

@newbiemg they are looking good for day 6.. better than my day 10 was looking that's for sure

@RMS0209 I don’t think mine ever get lighter than that unless my urine is very diluted but then I don’t get a very strong positive. They sort of stay like that and then the two lines will be equal for peak but I haven’t ever seen the test line get darker than the control.

I use Femometer strips so I’m not sure if the type of strips makes a difference. I might try different ones if I need to do another cycle x

@Newbiemg mine never go super dark either, I get one or two the same darkness as the control line and that’s it. Here are mine so far - started testing a bit early I think.
