Continuation of our last thread…

All of us TTC and in different cycles and stages of our journey.

Helping eachother through the TWW, through the confusing days of OPK/BBT testing and charts, through all of the symptom spotting, the dreaded arrival of AF and the BFP announcements! 😊✨

January was a very lucky month for some who got their BFP and some of us are ready to make February our month!

With giggles and lots of support along the way.

Omg I love a new hoover too @Pops100 @RMS0209 @SMD16. I got a dyson a few years back when I lived in the UK and used very precious luggage space to bring it out here 😂 maybe I should look at shark next. Do you have a pic of the test in natural light @pops100?? Fingers crossed for some strong lines over the weekend!

On OPKs, I have had to take a few pics too to get Premom to register it properly. Hopefully I’ll be starting them on Monday! AF has pretty much cleared off now

How is everyone?

My period's due today, but not appeared yet fingers crossed

I had a sharp pain in my lower right abdomen all day yesterday (trapped wind?) and mild cramps today...with a headache that's lasted for days!

Can't bring myself to test, as no doubt my period will arrive as soon as I do!! So we'll see what the next few days bring...

@RMS0209 I give it 5 minutes too. Also I couldn't work our why it kept giving me a 0 at first took me ages to realise it was upside down.

I've had a rubbish day my wisdom tooth is killing me, I can hardly open my mouth and my ears and head hurt. So I wouldnt be able to symptom spot if I wanted to as this is so painful 😭

@Pickles91 happy bleated birthday!! Hope you had a lovely time. So I only have the edited contrast one or black and white but going to test again over weekend so will let you know that one!

@AG88 how many dpo are you? I'm in the same boat I kinda got this feeling as soon as I do it the old dread af will come that day 😂

All going okay over here. Coparent arrived tonight and we will do inseminations tomorrow and Sunday. Then probably again on Wednesday depending on what my sticks say! For now just have the flashing smiley but low OPKs so think ovulation still a few days away....

Really good to read all these OPK tips, very useful! I just tracked on paper this cycle but might give the app a go next cycle so I have to rely less on my eyeballs!

I was meant to be testing today but I think I'm going to wait a while longer too. Period due on Monday. I feel like it's coming to be honest. Although I did have a headache so bad it made me feel so sick, even in the height of the pain I thought 'well maybe this means I'm pregnant" oh dear!! I think probably just a headache.

Okay well the "waiting to test a while" proclamation of just one hour ago went out the window. I can't believe I'm saying this but I think I got a positive. I have a pack of Clear Blue which I'll use tomorrow, the up to 6 days early with words ones so it's less of a guess. But the 1st Response I'm seeing a faint line. Trying not to get my hopes up and manage my expectations until I miss my period or not. But also want to cry with joy. You're the first people I'm telling, I don't want to tell my partner until I'm more certain either way!!

@RMS0209 Yes AF has gone so did a test this morning and got a blank circle. First one so expected. Line OPKs I’ll start this afternoon. Have a lovely weekend too x

OPK today on CD6 is 0.32 low on Premom with SMU. I’m hoping to ovulate earlier in my cycle than last time just incase I get a short luteal phase again. Maybe if I ovulate earlier I will have more days before AF or hopefully no AF and be able to test. Waiting game now

@pops100 I'm 10 DPO, I have 28/29 day cycles so I'm currently on CD26. Period due Monday if 28 days. I think I ovulated CD16 as I got my highest OPK readings early morning CD15 and then the evening reading was back to low that day.

Sorry for the TMI about to follow but I also feel wetter down there lol. I haven’t got EWCM or anything (only CD6) but I feel a constant wetness last night and today which is good I’m thinking because maybe I’m going to get more CM 🤞

This is where I get confused because the app goes off a basic 28 day cycle for me as I'm unsure what I am normally because of birth control however I had my peak on cd15 which then dropped on cd16 but it's saying I'm 11dpo and due af on Tuesday? @Bluets

@pops100 oh it's so tough all these calculations particularly when you've been on birth control, how many cycles have you not been using it now? Hopefully you'll start to build up a picture of what your cycles look and feel like and feel more confident with how long they typically last (if you're not already!) I listened to an audiobook called Period Power by Maisie Hill last year and it was so great at helping me understand my cycle, I'd recommend it to anyone! Plus it uses inclusive language which makes it even better imo.

Telling my OH, I think I'll just throw a positive stick at him (if I get one) and see how he reacts! Xx

@Pops100 I used to get loads of ewcm but then it just stopped and now I get barely anything. I do get creamy cm after ovulation but I don’t get any of the fertile kind before. I tried EPO last cycle to help but it didn’t do much. I stopped it this cycle because I had a weird cycle so thought I’d stop taking too many supplements.

Sorry that you got a negative. Will you test again or just wait to see if AF arrives?

@RMS0209 I maybe should have kept up with the EPO for more cycles but I was a little worried. Last cycle has thrown me off. Shorter cycle and short luteal phase and my ovulation date was later.

I don’t know what caused that to happen so I just stopped all the supplements incase and trying (probably failing lol) to keep relaxed and not stressed to see if things go back to normal x

@Bluets yeah so annoying I was on it for over 10 years so felt lucky I had what seems like a normal cycle this month 🤞🏼 thank you I'll check that out!
