Hi @MO22, sorry you've been struggling. It is still so raw, especially when the first af arrives. You have no one to apologise to, do what you need to do to look after yourself. I think if you're doing opks and you've got a really strong positive before, you should be okay. I wouldn't be looking into annovulatory cycles until you'd been trying for a while. How long has it been? Even with ovulation, the percentage rates of actually conceiving aren't as high as you'd think, so sometimes it just doesn't catch and that's it, nothing to do with your body not working as it should xx

@MO22 Welcome and I'm so sorry this happened to you. I also really struggle with how to use mumsnet/the computer for good and not to drive myself crazy; it's been helpful to join one consistent thread for support but that hasn't stopped me from googling "How long did it...." "Conceiving at age..." etc etc. Which obviously doesn't help as what happened to anyone else will have nothing to do with what happens to me. Was so happy to think I was done with all that, and hard to stop myself from going back there.

Re ovulation it did help me before that I had a nice GP (or she just wanted me to get off her back) and she did the 3 and 21 day blood tests etc. After that I felt pretty sure I was ovulating and didn't feel as stressed about that part of things. Though now I'm worried about which way everything will land after mc. I may see if they'll run the tests again for me if nothing happens in a few months. I think she was unusually nice and she also did a SA for my partner; knowing that came back ok also helped me to chill a bit.

@Cindy974 I agree, the shine will be gone, and I'm an anxious person to begin with. It's helped mein a sad wayto think about how many people I know who have gone through this and have gone on to have a successful pregnancy (or two or three or, in one, case, 9 lol).

I did comment on the last thread but found xmas really hard & my sons due date i coming up so i have been all over the place. Certin family members havent been very supportive which just makes me feel even worse about things. Feel like i cant even cry without being given a time limit & then being told to pull myself together.

@calimc83 when did you book your reflexology for? Have you been before?

Hi all, can I ask if anyone's periods have changed since having the miscarriage. Mine are certainly always alot more watery/fast flowing and bright compared to before. Not sure if it something that I should be getting checked out. Been 6 months since I had to have surgery. Thank you

@Legoisaws8om I've only had one period since and it was very heavy flow, longer, a lot more watery and bright red. Mine are normally full of clots but I hardly had any! Apart from how long it was, it actually felt like it was better than before!

@Cruz86 thank you so much. I felt that as soon as i was pregnant again it wouldnt hurt so bad but unfortunately 5 months later im still not pregnant. So frustrating when its only taken 1 & 2 cycles previously.

I feel like everyone just thinks i should be over it by now and im just not if anything it feels like its getting worse 😔

Hope everyone is doing ok? I'm celebrating my birthday ( a few weeks later ) currently in the lakes drinking champagne 🍾 and went for a hike earlier! Trying my hardest not to think about MC and TTC so sort of lurking on Mumsnet at the mo 😂 xx

@skl2021 my Saturday has been alright, lots of housework but going to chill with a wine in a bit! according to my app its ovulation day tomorrow, not going to do any more opks this month (for real this time🤣)
Had twinges on my right hand side earlier, not surprised if its my mind playing tricks on me🤣 dtd today anyway😀

@Legoisaws8om same as @cruz86 I've only had one period since as well, it was the same as pre MC for me except I bled for an extra day (usually lasts 5 days)
1 day light
2 days heavy
2 days medium
1 day light/spotting

@Sparklesurprise29 I have been at work so now watching tele going to order some food 🎉 you won't be far behind us then! Haha u have more willpower than me I would love to bin the things they stress me out 🤣🤦 xx

Thank you for sharing. I don't seem to have pain or as many clots just very fast flowing. I guess its good as not painful. Sorry to hear some of you are not being supported. It is so hard isn't it. I certainly feel some of family members have forgotten we lost our baby. Its so hard.
