I'm right into the awful part of the TWW (I think... not quite sure when O day was) and one of my best friends just told me she's pregnant with their third and... of course I'm thrilled for her but she borrowed our newborn crib for her second and this means she'll probably be finished using it for her third by the time we need it again.

I know that's a really specific thing to get hung up on, but we put it back in the attic at Christmas, having kept it out thinking we'd need it in March, which was really painful.

To cap it all, I'm spotting very, very slightly, I keep overanalysing every twinge and ache, and I feel sick, but I know that's just the adrenalin from the nerves and anxiety of the TWW.

I just want to be unconscious until testing day/AF arrives. And if by some miracle I am pregnant, I want to be unconscious again until the 12 week scan.

Phew, anxiety rant over.

This had me giggling at the unconscious part 🤣 I feel the exact same!

@PamelaDoov, how are you doing today hun? Hoping you're home resting with a bar of chocolate and your feet up...

Its so annoying🤣 would make things so much easier @skl2021!!

Woohoo @cruz86, keeping my fingers crossed for you😀 hope you get sore tender boobs 🤣 I had the same last time, they kept getting bigger and harder, had to get new bras😂
I've not had a peak opk but my predicted ovulation was CD15 according to Glow, didn't manage to dtd then or yesterday but did it today, hoping my ovulation date was CD13/14🤞 or today😅

Welcome @sunandsea37!! Giving you a massive hug, im ttc #1, had a MC in Dec, its so hard keeping the faith💖 AF arriving means the start of a fresh cycle💕🌈

@SunAndSea37 welcome 💐 sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Dont give up things will get better 💕 Its hard when all you want is to be pregnant again and everyone around you is or just carrying on with there lives. What dpo are you now? X

Did we ALL have weirdness around ovulation this month? What is in the water, eh?

@Sparklesurprise29 - I have no idea! Best guess, 9DPO but could be only 5DPO. I don't use OPKs as they make me even more obsessive, and my cm was super unreliable this cycle. Argh.

Thanks @Cindy974! I don't think 4dpo is too early. I just knew with my son that we'd conceived and then I got a bfp at 8dpo. Fingers crossed for you!

My temp went up this morning so I think ovulation was yesterday @Skl2021 🙌🏻 Although one of my apps has now put me at 4dpo 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆 xx

@calimc83 I'm only 4 dpo! It's starting to slow now 🙈🤣 I'm missing not testing everyday! My youngest has just got chickenpox and now I'm fretting if I do get pregnant that it will cause complications 🤦 not sure if I have had it before. Worrying about every little thing and it's not even happened yet 🤣🙄😬 x

I am soo relieved @Skl2021! But I feel horrendous today. Pounding headache, feel really lightheaded and can't stop sneezing 😩 How is your little one doing with the chickenpox? How old are they? X

@Cruz86 oh no hope your not coming down with anything! I feel like crap but I'm sleep deprived I have had about 3 hours 🤦 he is 5 he seems ok today last night was horrific he was screaming in pain most of the night. He has impetigo and stomach bug aswell 😩 he doesn't do things by half 😬 he only has a couple of spots they don't even look like chicken pox and he isn't itching them so was surprised when doctor said that 🤔 xx

@Skl2021 So do I! The last time this happened I had Covid and fell pregnant 😩😩 aww bless him, I hope he feels better soon. Yours isn't much older than my son, he's 4.5! Do you have any other children? Xx

@Cruz86 no u don't want that! I'm thinking now in my head I don't know if it's better I'm not pregnant as we had covid and now this don't want any problems 😩 I feel a bit sickly aswell don't know if it's cos I'm tired of if I'm getting stomach bug 🤦 it's making me paranoid this is not what I need in the tww! Yes I have an 8 year old aswell! Ideally I would of liked the gap the same but I had an traumatic birth with my youngest and nearly lost him and didn't think I would try again 😬 then when we did I had a miscarriage so now I'm panicking about the age gaps it's just getting bigger! X

@Skl2021 ohh hope he's ok poor love. Have u got any camaline lotion? I'm sure you'll be ok...I think everyone I know had it when they were tiny, I definitely did. I'm guessing even if u did get and were pregnant....The placenta doesn't form till around 6 weeks or so, reckon you'd be fine. Are u holding out to test this time round then? Xx

Hope everyone who's unwell feels better, and kiddies, too. Feel in complete limbo as (obviously) still testing positive (so hard to see, and yet I've been testing every day--why?!), so gonna glom onto others' 2ww and think positive thoughts for you :)

@Skl2021 sounds so hard re your youngest, I'm glad you're both ok! I'm also panicking about age gap, and kicking myself for not getting on it sooner, as there was really no reason not to for us. I mean, there were, but now they seem silly as I feel totally against the clock. I see lots of people around school with big age gaps though (only 2 years between my kids) and it looks to have definite good points too!

...and...I dunno if I'm alone in being concerned about racing against the clock (for some reason I'm assuming everyone else on the thread is younger than me but also people might feel against the clock for any number of reasons) but was told yesterday that average age for giving birth at the hospital that helped me out is 40 plus. Made me feel (temporarily) better, so passing it along should it help anyone else :P

@calimc83 the chickenpox themselves are ok he's not itchy and hardly got spots it's the stomach ache he's really upset with and temperature 😩 poor thing I feel helpless. No I will probably cave around 7/8 I can't last that long 🤦😬 only another 4 days 🤞 I know I should wait a bit longer!! X

Ha now I'm my head I'm going over it and thinking, is that just b/c she herself was reaalllly young and so anyone who's older than her goes into that vague description of "around 40" ...it doesn't matter. I can't change my age, I can't change not having started sooner...I hate having no control...! Ah I'd have loved a baby bro/sis when I was 10. I think my 7 year old couldn't care less, but my five year old would love it. That's their personalities, though, I don't think age would've changed their reactions. I really do think there are all kinds of upsides to any family constellation.

@Ganesh2022 don't over think it! There are lots of people having children later in life now! Yes like u say we can't change anything now it is what it is! Yes my eldest was really excited when we told him about the baby before I lost it so think he would love another one! My youngest on the other hand wasn't impressed 🙈 he wanted a dog instead! 🙄 X

@calimc83 he has a stomach bug aswell 😩 everything seems to be hitting at once! No nothing they can give just Calpol 🤦 but it's not doing much! Going to be another long night of no sleep 😴 yes not long to wait I'm not expecting anything to show that early anyway 🙈 haha I feel really old like I'm starting again I wish I had them all close together then it's done 🙊
