Hi everyone just checking in...

@PamelaDoov was so sorry to read what a tough time you've been going through, I hope you signed off work and are taking it easy.

Today I've been googling "can you be pregnant and have a period" lol... So that's MY frame of mind.

My blood tests arrived tho so I'm going to do them tomorrow. Weirdly excited to stab myself in the finger to feel like I've got some control back.

Also DESPERATE to start using OKPs but I'm only on day 4 of AF, and I think it might be a bit longer this month because of the MC, what did you guys find after your first AF post it? Same length or longer/shorter?

@Cruz86 did you do your progesterone test? X

@calimc83 yeah it does help, right?! Ha I have to admit I'm also jealous of people who are 30...!

@MO22 ahhh I get myself into a whole google wormhole. Even though I KNOW for every question I ask, I'll get some yesses, some nos, and a lot of maybes and sometimes...I still do it.

Oh no! Hopefully, if it is anything, it's just a bug rather than Covid @Skl2021. I guess it doesn't help with the symptom spotting because it could be illness or pregnancy 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

I am also starting to worry about age gap now, it was never something that I thought about and to be honest, we didn't think we'd have another baby. Had a traumatic birth, undiagnosed pnd and then he had to have surgery on his skull at 14 months. So I vowed never to have another one again! But now he's going to school, I feel like it's the perfect time because I'll get dedicated time with littlest when he's at school and I can then focus a bit more around him when he's home. I just hope baby is born soon after he starts otherwise the gap just gets bigger and bigger!

@Ganesh2022 you're driving yourself crazy by testing every day 😞 I do hope it's negative for you soon though.

Lol @MO22 I did exactly the same just after my first period after the mc! I was sooo bloated and just thought maybe I could be, even with a period 😂 Mine was heavier for longer but pretty much the same length in total. Hopefully it won't be long before you can start to use the opks! My testing kit was delivered today but I think I need to leave it a few days because I only ovulated yesterday. Good luck with yours too!

@MO22 don't worry I have also searched that and even took a test after af just to be sure 🙈🤦 good luck with the blood tests I have been looking at them but not sure what I would need or if I need one 🤣🙈

@Cruz86 sorry you also had a rough time with your second 😩 yes I vowed never to do it again! I'm sure I have PTSD from it I never got help and I think I should of as I still struggle to talk about what happened. Yes seems like perfect timing! Im just worried about my two being to old to play or get on with the a new baby as the ages are so different 🙈 would feel sorry for the youngest not having any one to play with then would want another 🤣🤦 nope that ain't happening I need to calm down! X

@Skl2021, if it helps, there's 5 years between me and my nearest sibling and 19 years between me and my eldest sib.

It was definitely not perfect when I was little, but I have some amazing memories of playing with my brother (5 years older).

Plus my speaking and reading skills were super advanced cos I was trying to copy my siblings the whole time!

The MC also makes me stress about age gaps but everyone tells me that your kids playing together is more about personalities than age differences.

Grrrr just got into my fertile window and partners done his back in 😡

Hi @shortmamashortcycles my cm has been weird this month too😅 it went dry on my predicted ovulation day then went back to more creamy, so weird! Hoping I have actually ovulated this month🤔

@mo22 my AF was like my usual AF, not any heavier or sore - was so glad but also secretly hoping it was implantation bleeding until it lasted for days💖 hope you're ok💖

@Sparklesurprise29 @Skl2021 I'm off to the pharmacy to get him some over the counter pain meds 🤣🤣 I feel like I'm gonna have to go on top and I hate it I feel just like that pig in the bath from that meme 🤣🤣 needs just and all that! Got a 0.53 OPK this morning so ovulation could be happening sooner than though 😱

Aw I'm sorry you had such a tough time too @Skl2021. It took me a really long time to get over seeing other people with their new baby, everything looking smooth after having the 'perfect' birth etc. I still find it difficult sometimes now! It sounds like you'll be having another one after this baby though! 😂 You're gonna have two helpers which is handy!

Oh no, what a nightmare @aesgriff! You'll have to take whatever means necessary to make it happen 😂

Well I've got 3 apps telling me different things. One says I'm 5dpo, another 2dpo and another 3dpo 🤦🏼‍♀️ xx

@Cruz86 I know, I have no idea why I'm doing it. It's a compulsion. I hate Amazon as it's so easy to get new tests.

Hope everyone doing ok today; working from home has been a curse and a blessing--easier to hide away but...easier to hide away... I work as a counsellor, and there seems to be a whole lot of pregnancy/miscarriage/termination stuff on at the moment, or possibly I'm just noticing it more. Blah!

@Cruz86 yes I feel the same I almost feel robbed of the whole bonding after birth and the normal things we didn't get to do! Oh I am definitely not 🤣 pushing it with three! I'm starting to want to test now which is stupid 🤦😬 x

Amazon is the root of all evil @Ganesh2022. Makes it way too easy to buy things and have them arrive at your doorstep quickly! That must be hard with your job as a counsellor. I'm currently doing a psychology with counselling distance learning degree and I do worry sometimes about how it will affect me working in such environments.

@Skl2021 when do you think you'll test? I reckon I'll do one next Wednesday which still seems so far away! My little boy has come down with tonsillitis so I can't even distract myself by getting out and about! X

@Cruz86 oh no I hope he gets better soon! What a crap month were all having 😩 I'm stuck in too drives me crazy! Spent most of this month in isolation 🤯🤦 can't remember what the outside world looks like 🤣🙈 I was trying to get to 7/8 so another three days maybe? X

Can I just have one big self-indulgent scream: THIS IS NOT HOW 2022 WAS MEANT TO START OUT!!!!! What! the! So many moms at school with brand new babies and, of course, I have no clue what their stories are and what it took to get there (and I know that even by saying "other moms at school" I am incredibly, incredibly lucky), but...ouch.

@Cruz86 Good luck with the course! I do find it something that's really hard to do when I'm feeling less than great, and I've been on autopilot a bit. Unfortunately mc was right after we came back from holiday so I didn't feel I could take any time.

...I also struggle when people talk about their perfect births. I had PND and feel I missed some crucial time with my daughter, and then lost further time thinking about losing time lol. And now I'm losing time thinking about losing time and thinking about the future/past instead of the present. I find that these perfect births are few and far between, though, sadly seems much more common for things to be traumatic and awful?! or, at the very least, understatedly tough

@Ganesh2022 I know how you feel, DSs birth was literally the opposite of everything I wanted. I feel jealous when I hear of people having nice uncomplicated births. Part of the reason (a very small part) of wanting more children is so I can do it all again and see if I get at least one ‘good’ experience.
Although if a doctor said to me now ‘you can only have c sections from now on’ i’d still do it all 100 times over.
But you’re right, it is understatedly tough!

So when I go to the loo and wipe myself there’s no blood, but then when I check inside myself there’s a bit if light red/brown blood mixed with some CM. Am I meant to still take this as bleeding and not DTD yet? It’s so annoying!!

@PamelaDoov why can't you not DTD yet? Are you refering to the start of your fertility week, or what is that about?
