8 DOP - the waiting!

Hey. I'm not sure of the point of this thread really but I suppose I just need to talk. I'm bang in the middle of the two week wait and I'm driving myself crazy! I don't know if I'm seeing symptoms that are all in my head, honestly this waiting is making me obsessed. Tell me I'm not alone! I can't really talk to anyone as no one knows we're trying, and my partner is the most laid back and patient person I know (total opposite of me!)
How are you guys in limbo doing?

@ERachD me too! This is first cycle for #2 and she took 7 proper cycles so I'm hoping it's not as long

Just how to keep distracted is key I think!

I keep stressing about if this isn't our month and my partner doesn't get it. He's like, if it's this month, next month or in 7 months time it doesn't matter. I was like, my hair is literally doing to start falling out with the stress so it very much matters haha! But I suppose he's right. It's such a lot for us to go through though questioning every little symptom! Xx

@ERachD omg my husband is the same. "Doesn't matter if it's now or takes a year" like hellooo it matters to me lol

I'm also feeling bad for him must be feeling so used in the fertile period! With DD being a toddler it's time consuming mentally and physically so DTD can be tiring

I'm on 10dpo and looking at that, tomorrows odds of a positive and the few days following jump loads higher!

@ERachD that's really helpful. My boobs are killing me today. I really do think I might be pregnant cuz all the symptoms are the same as before but I am not going to test until the weekend I think. Are you going to test again tomorrow?

@20viona yeah I think so! I had a blank white negative this morning so I'm just hoping that each day I test I start to see a little faint line

Ooh that does sound promising. Bet you've never been so pleased to have sore boobs haha! I've had some pretty bad cramps today but no spotting, I have no idea what's normal im driving myself mad!

@ERachD what tests are you using? I like FRER I absolutely hate the clear blue blue dye ones!

@20viona yeah I'm using the FRER ones. I've had evap lines way too much in the clear blues. I was gutted when I found out how unreliable they are!

Shocking that at like 17DPO it’s only 94% - you’d think it was 100% by that point!

@Bexxe it really surprised me too! As long as af doesn't show up I can cling to hope a little longer than I thought

Hi. Can I join? Because I am literally going out my mind. I tested tonight at 8DPO, no idea why because I know it’s probably way too early but I couldn’t help myself. Obviously it was BFN. This is cycle 4 of TTC#2, our DS is 3 in March and we conceived him straight away so I’m starting to feel like it might never happen!

I’m going to try and stop testing now until my period is due because the early testing and BFN has made me feel worse tbh.

This was the test. Sometimes I think I can see something if I squint but deep down I know I’m just going mad!

@Moonshine160 oh you are definitely on the right thread! I did exactly the same. I was desperately telling myself I could see something on every test. I've just tested this morning and another BFN. I told myself it wouldn't bother me because it's only 11dpo but losing faith when you see how many ladies show at least a faint positive at that stage

I just did a cheapie and it's stark negative I wish I'd not done It! I'm only 10/11 DPO though!

Yes very light but certainly pink!
Have FRER’s on their way today so will take one tomorrow FMU.

for reference ladies I think I am 14DPO and only just getting the faintest lines so don’t count yourself out!! Xxx

I am 7dpo and last night and this morning I’ve had some light spotting!? Any ideas?

@Bexxe that's so exciting! I've got everything crossed for an even stronger line tomorrow but there's without a doubt one there today

@Carinae20 as far as I'm aware that's all very typical with early pregnancy. So long as the spotting is dark red or brown and only slight, not a heavy 'Fresh red blood' flow then it's all totally normal!
