@RosyappleA I think my boobs in general swole a bit from water retention/were a bit sore pre AF, but for the BFP it was the weird, over sensitive nipples that I can only liken to the feeling at the very start of breastfeeding, there was nothing else like it. It was like pins and needles in my nipples only. Weirdest feeling. They were also insanely sensitive to the cold. Only with my 2nd pregnancy though, first time I swear they did nothing until after DD was born.
@Moonshine160 the not knowing really got to me. I researched and saw it usually takes 3-6 months for conception, and 3 months to get to normal after the pill, so in my brain I knew it wouldn't be instant, but then when I didn't get pregnant the first month I felt like a complete failure, even though I was the only one pressuring me. Even this month, my cousin announced she is pregnant with twins, and she had her first a year after mine. For some reason i felt really behind hearing that news, and it feels ridiculous, as 1) I am terrified of twins and 2) the age gap of 3 children under 3 would not be fun and 3) we are different people, with very different lives. I know it is rubbish advice, but just let it happen, treat your body well, and enjoy this time with your existing child. Trying new TTC things each month made me feel better for some reason. I did COQ10 for 2 months to help egg health, preseed and a fertility cup the one that worked. Fingers crossed you get your sticky BFP very soon x
Feeling very nervous as have a 6ish week scan tomorrow where we will see if it has developed into anything not. I'm still lurking on this thread as this one feels so different to my last/MC is so prevalent that I feel like I can't relax, and i'm now closer to 40 than 30. Please distract me with BFPs and general tales of TTC :) To everyone testing tomorrow sending all the good luck your way!
