Checking in at 5dpo, no symptoms yet!

@Moonshine160, i know exactly how you feel. Dropping DD at nursery is breaking my heart - she's two and a bit now, and there are so many kids there with siblings 2ish years older. My little bean who didn't make it was due in March which would be almost 2.5 years difference. I remember thinking how perfect the timing was. It just seems so far away now.

Hiii can i join? I had a misscarrige in November. Positive ovulation test today - praying for my BFP & for you all too 💜

Ladies can I ask - has anyone ever felt ovulation from one side then had niggles and stabbing pains on the opposite side during TWW?

@Shortmamashortcycles so sorry to hear that, the would be milestones are really difficult. I never expected to feel this way TTC#2. I was much more relaxed trying to conceive DS.

@Geemmm yes, I honestly have no idea what my body does. First cycle I was certain of the side I ovulated from, and the 2nd as it was very obviously located to one side, but the 3rd, I don't know as the pain came from both sides. The pain was also worse 1st/3rd times around so I wonder if I have a weird one side working ovary or not working on the less painful 2nd cycle. Completely useless response, so I am sorry, but bodies quite frankly are bizarre!

@Shortmamashortcycles so sorry about the upcoming milestone, that is really tough. like @Moonshine160 I really thought that with #2 i'd be more relaxed, but it is the opposite. When TTC I also saw everyone who was pregnant after me announce second pregnancies, which made me feel like I was behind the curve and more pressured. I really considered ditching social media for a bit. The up side to it taking a wee bit longer is that when you do get that sticky BFP your little one will understand more, will be able to help you more, and will be able to have fun playing with their little sibling. Sending baby dust your way x

@Moonshine160 we have a 6 year gap between 1st and second so we had a lot of friends and family announce second pregnancies, it’s so hard but your body has been through it once it will happen again, I know it’s not comforting when you feel how you do at the time though. Is your partner supportive? Xxx

@Hopingforarainbow27 well done for making it to 13dpo and not! That’s a big pat on the back.
See how you feel in the morning? When is AF due if it’s just another day hold off until you miss?
But if it’s a cheapie I’d go for it 🤣 I am impatient though - it does however just let me move on from the thoughts all day long.

@Geemmm I had terrible implantation pain with my first! So I could be this :)

@lottieb92 I'm not 100% sure. It might be due tomorrow or the next day. My luteal phase is usually 11-14 days. Today would be 11. I've sore boobs and have went to wee today 9 times!!!!
I know I might just test so I can move on

@Hopingforarainbow27 well done for making it to double digits without testing! 10 DPO when I hit the double digits was my ok now I can POAS limit :). Good luck, and I hope for good news for you!

I need you lovelies to level me back out...think I'm going to crack and test first thing tomorrow 🙈 I'll be either 16dpo if I ovulated when I'm sure I did or 13dpo according to my app

Why oh why did I just do a test? Too early and afternoon urine. I'm so stupid and annoyed with myself!

AF is due on Monday and I really thought I could hold out until Saturday to test but I just want to know. I'm very aware of needing to pee a lot and it's got me wondering! Would it be really stupid to test tomorrow with FMU? Talk me down!

I’m staying strong so far and not testing unless AF is late. I think she will appear though because I’ve got some usual PMS tenderness. Although all these posts are making me want to test hehe.
I just keep thinking how expensive the tests are and if I resist from continuously testing and then having to buy more, then I can hopefully treat a future baby to a few more special clothes. It’s rubbish as I would be buying clothes every waking minute anyway but I’m trying to persuade myself to avoid testing.

Gahhh!!! To wait or not?!

I'm supposed to be going out for a drink tomorrow evening, maybe I should just test and either commiserate with an alcoholic bevy or celebrate with a soft drink.
