@AlmostLondoner omg same I'd take all the bad, the worst sickness, acne, weight gain all of it so I could finally have my rainbow 🌈 😞

Hopingforarainbow27 · 09/01/2022 22:00

I'm 11dpo tomorrow. Do you think I'm wise to test? I think it will be negative but I need something so I can move on as the unknown is making my so anxious

HelloNope · 09/01/2022 22:04

@Hopingforarainbow27 I'm 11dpo today and tested...bfn so makes things worse! Might be better to wait?

Hopingforarainbow27 · 09/01/2022 22:06

@HelloNope aaah ok!! It's torture. Have you had any symptoms or anything?

lakejupiter · 09/01/2022 23:09

@Purple29 thanks for this!! Me & my coparent are currently living in different places so we plan travel etc around my FW. This month we tried on 3 consecutive days because I wanted the most "chances" but next time I will tell him the tip about getting rid of the older swimmers beforehand and then leaving a day between tries. So we would do two inseminations 48 hrs apart rather than three 24 hours apart.

Bringonbaby3 · 10/01/2022 06:00

Just reading through about timings/symptoms so thought it might be helpful to share my experience? Positive test at 9/10dpo so could all be a chemical/not sticking but am currently still getting positives so keeping fingers crossed.

I have a 29-30 day cycle and this month I believe I ovulated on 31st Dec. We dtd on CD 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 (my aim was to do it daily for 3 days after positive OPK which I got on day 13).

In terms of symptoms…I usually get a lot of PMS symptom like sore boobs, lots of thick discharge, cramps, mood changes. This month I actually had less of these symptoms, so my PMS didn’t seem as bad. What I did have was a low level nausea from about 6 dpo and gassiness/belching from same time. I’ve had 2 previous children and I suffered with both these symptoms in previous pregnancies.

Hope that’s helpful to everyone!

Going to test again this morning soon as I’m feeling quite anxious. Having trouble sleeping :(

AlmostLondoner · 10/01/2022 06:08

@ariansky yeah... Although the weight gain is a deal breaker 😅😅 haha joking! I've been awake since 5am today with nausea. 🤢

But my test looks like this:

Hoping to get our BFPs in January ✨
Bringonbaby3 · 10/01/2022 06:15

@AlmostLondoner how many dpo are you? I’m only about 10 and probably will be watching the progression too! Hope I get changes like yours.

AlmostLondoner · 10/01/2022 08:39

@Bringonbaby3 I'm 19!! It was very faint until day 17dpo and then 18dpo boom. I was sure it's chemical again

TheBirdintheCave · 10/01/2022 09:15

@AlmostLondoner Congrats! :D

I am finally approaching ovulation and feeling a little nervous about it this month after last month's chemical. Hoping we hit the jackpot again.

arianasky · 10/01/2022 09:24

@AlmostLondoner 😂🙈 amazing line progression I have everything crossed for you for a healthy happy pregnancy 💕

arianasky · 10/01/2022 09:25

@TheBirdintheCave same! I'm very nervous about this month but still really want to try and to get pregnant again 🙏🏻

AlmostLondoner · 10/01/2022 09:34

@thebirdinthecave I totally understand, had 2 already and after second one I just had to stop trying for a while. Fingers crossed. Still a good sign you can get pregnant 🤞🤞💪

@arianasky thank you, booked myself for a scan on 28th 🤞

arianasky · 10/01/2022 09:52

@AlmostLondoner oh brill how far will you be then?

Nikkic2123 · 10/01/2022 09:53

@Purple29
He’s right x
I had lots of IUI before my endo was discovered. Hubby had to give a sample that was after a 3/4 day hold - (sample produced in the 4th day) and head many more healthy swimmers than the 2/3 day hold x

April601stbaby · 10/01/2022 09:55

Hope you guys don’t mind me jumping on this thread.
I’m new, ttc 1st baby, cycle #3. Due to test next Monday if af doesn’t arrive.
I feel like I have some serious PMT which is a little unusual as I’ve had it for the last few days and that is a bit early for me. But I feel like af is about to arrive any day so I’m not feeling that hopeful for a bfp unfortunately.

TheBirdintheCave · 10/01/2022 10:50

@AlmostLondoner Yes, that's how I'm taking it :) Considering our fertility issues I was amazed we got pregnant at all even if it didn't stick.

@arianasky Fingers crossed for you as well this cycle :)

miamom · 10/01/2022 11:20

Hello,

I am currently 7 DPO and I have been experiencing pain/extreme sensitivity in my nipples (only in my nipples, not in entire breasts) since ovulation and slight twinges in my abdomen the past 24 hours. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms with a BFP?

AlmostLondoner · 10/01/2022 11:36

@arianasky should be 7w2d. Hopefully heart will be visible 🤞

@TheBirdintheCave have you tried some exercises? I was doing this free YouTube videos from channel YogaYin. She is amazing and it really helps!

TheBirdintheCave · 10/01/2022 12:05

@AlmostLondoner Oh I am terrible at Yoga haha. I have dyspraxia so am very uncoordinated. I do Zumba every Thursday though and am now pretty good at that (though I still can't do arms at the same time as legs lol).

Mariabombia · 10/01/2022 12:05

Let us know how you get on @April601stbaby 🤞🏻
I'm in a similar position to you going into my 4th cycle TTC #1
Xx

lakejupiter · 10/01/2022 12:07

Is there anything in particular I should
be avoiding during my very first TWW? Apart from driving myself mad with symptom spotting etc?? I usually swim in the sea at least once a week year round and am due to go tomorrow with a friend. I'll only be 3DPO and I'm sure it won't make any difference but I feel a bit weird about it. I'm not really changing much as had adjusted my diet for PCOS in advance so I'm eating pretty well regardless and hydrating etc.

TheBirdintheCave · 10/01/2022 12:33

@lakejupiter You'll be fine :) Exercise is beneficial after all.

AlmostLondoner · 10/01/2022 13:08

@thebirdinthecave I think you would handle it 😅😅

Bubblegum093 · 10/01/2022 14:23

Hey @Geemmm we are definitely around the same time then! Gutted for your BFN but still very early days at 8dpo so it could most certainly change on the next few days. We always hope to see a squinter though don’t we and can’t help ourselves in the tww! I am really wanting to test today myself and I’m 8dpo, my frer have just been delivered so might test tomorrow fmu! I’ve stopped telling my OH when I’m testing 😆, he asked what the delivery was earlier & I said some opks 😂. Partly because if I do ever get a BFP I want to surprise him! Totally feel the same though end up feeling so sad with constant BFN’s and when AF arrives. I’ve told myself I won’t be getting a bfp this month just so I don’t get my hopes up again! But secretly keeping fingers crossed haha. Keep me posted hun when you test at 12dpo!
