Checking in at 5dpo, no symptoms yet!

Hi everyone. I'm CD7, we've been TTC for over a year now but want to try one more time before I make an appointment with the GP. I've been taking Proceive for a month. I need to get some more ovulation tests, I usually use the cheap strips, would anyone recommend something different?

I hope you are both ok.
I was wondering, with doing the "purple method", I ovulate round score cd13-16, I've DTD Cd6 as planned, I had EWCM so worked out well, today I'm CD8, I've more ewcm, do I ignore this and proceed straight to CD10? 🤣🤔
I've got preseed for CD10,12,14,16,18 & 20

@Shortmamashortcycles I'm similar to you - apps predicting O day today and I have short LP too so expecting AF 20th but sometimes I spot before then so we will see 🤞🏼 my first cycle TTC so interested to see how it all works with my cycle.

@BabyBird20 also feeling like we didn't DTD enough - think we're the same only 3/4 times but it only takes once and we have during our most fertile days so fingers crossed it's been enough 😅 xx

@Nikkic2123 how many days is your cycle? Cause that's how the dr worked it out? Rather than going with what the sticks said?

It is between 24&28 days depending on ovulation, I used to ovulate religiously on CD16, lately it has been CD13
I used to have a 27/28 day cycle but changed as ovulation changed x

You could try dtd on days 6, 10, 12 and 14 then? That's what I used for a 27 day cycle. If you were going in the middle of 24-28 days would be 26 day cycle so days 5, 9, 11 and 13? Like I said this method went on cycle length rather than going with what the sticks say.

Hi, lovelies! Been working all weekend (on my break now) so not been on here much and have just had a little catch up!

Congrats to all those who have had BFPs and good luck to those who haven't yet! I'm off work Tuesday and Wednesday so will be more active then! At least being back at work is taking my mind off tww and symptom spotting 😅 AF due Friday 😬🤞

My cycles used to be like clock work, I don’t like all this shifting.

2nd Jan 26 days

That is my cycle lengths

I would just go with the average days then. Good luck x

@arianasky nausea from time to time (had to run to the toilet once today thinking I will boke), acne, sensitive nipples, absolutely wet discharge.

Me too. Sickness is temporary, miscarriage is final 😭

@Bubblegum093 my apps say I'm due AF around Fri/Sat. I know mrs I was the same - literally spent all my life thinking it would happen at the drop of a hat - how wrong I was! I tested today at 8dpo and BFN. I will try and wait until 12dpo to test again - my OH is getting grumpy with me testing early as I just end up so sad.

Well I failed, I POAS on dpo 8 😅 bfn though I almost convinced myself I was a line. The wait is killer.

Also mind the filthy costume ring

@contagioushippie what amount of hcg does that test pick up?

I got throbbing type twinges on my right side there. I'm about 10 dpo I think. Am I reading in to things? Pasty cm today too! Think I will test tomorrow

Hi all! just joined and am on month one TTC with my coparent. We are both gay (I'm a lesbian, he's a gay man) and this was our first month TTC using at home insemination (turkey baster/syringe method).

A bit more info about TTC...I'm 36 and have mild PCOS. I've been tracking my ovulation with OPK sticks and through EWCM for a year or so using the Ovia app. I also had a day 21 progesterone test last month and some blood work to check my hormones and whilst it seems I am ovulating, my doc was worried about some abnormal hormone levels and I'm on a waiting list to see an endocrinologist, so that's at the back of my mind whilst we start this journey.

I'm currently CD16 and am due to ovulate today. I had a positive OPK yesterday morning with EWCM, and then ovulation pain on my right side last night and this morning. We inseminated three times this month on CD 14, 15 and 16, so tomorrow I start my two week wait. The inseminations have been a steep learning curve but im so happy to have got the ball rolling and to be actively TTC after spending the last two years getting to know each other. My cycles are consistently around 30-31 days so AF is due on 24th or 25th of Jan. I feel like the next couple of weeks are going to be weird lol! Great to join you all.....
