Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

Hello Smile

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5 Confused

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all don't mind me joining this thread. Currently on first cycle TTC, have taken pregnacare.

AF is due tomorrow, however have had brown very light spotting for 4 days. Which is unusual for me and starting to wonder if this has been caused by the Pregnacare? Has anyone on here any experience of taking them? I have read they can mess with your cycle.

Haven't taken a pregnancy test as fully expect AF to arrive tomorrow. Sad

I haven’t taken pregnacare because I read about it messing with cycles but I started taking the seven seas ones and then also read they mess with cycles too and I did have an odd AF this cycle so not sure if that was why.

I had spotting and then a pink watery blood mixed with creamy CM and then AF came properly.

I don’t want to get your hopes up but it could also be implantation bleeding maybe? I’ve heard this is like spotting and usually comes about the same time as AF would.

It’s difficult when ttc because we start doing all these new things and paying more attention to things and gets so confusing doesnt it.

@Bluebirdsings me and @Newbiemg are using pregnacare im using the one for him & her. Have been using this for a few months and not noticed anything like that I'm afraid

Oh wait a minute they are pregnacare 😂 I have the ones in the purple box so thought they were vitabiotics but I think it’s the same brand oops!

I was kinda hoping it might be implantation bleeding but I don't think I would be that lucky to fall pregnant on the first month. Although I have been off all birth control for years and feel like I know my cycle very well...this one just seems odd. I don't usually spot and I'm never early that why I was blaming the pregnacare.

Started with electric shock type cramps last Friday followed by light pink spotting that night which then has turned to brown but not enough to fill a pad. Also my mood is horrific...poor hubby cant even look at me and I'm ready to bite his head off. Anyway, the cramping only lasted that one day. Maybe if a full period doesn't come tomorrow I will do a test.

Great having people to talk to on here...1 month in and I already feel I'm over analysing every possible "symptom" 🤣🤣

@Bluebirdsings as you can see I’m totally confused about everything to do with ttc haha. Trying to get my head around it all.

So yes I am using the pregnacare lol but this is my first cycle using them so I won’t know if they have changed my AF yet until the next one comes… or hopefully doesn’t come!

Last cycle I used impryl and then seven seas but only for a couple of days and I had a weird AF this cycle.

It’s cycle 2 ttc for me and I’m still waiting for my peak. You may notice me everyday wondering where my peak is because last cycle I got it on CD13 and I’m now currently on CD14 and no peak and already I’m worrying it’s not coming lol

Everyone in this thread are so supportive and nice so if you need to rant or ask any questions we are here for you lol Smile

@Newbiemg don't worry I am int he same boat as you! I haven't a clue half the time either.

It's all so new, before TTC I never noticed every wee twinge around the time of AF.

Well if my full my AF comes tomorrow I think I will stop the Pregnacare and just take regular Folic Acid for a while. Don't think I could cope with my cycle getting messed up trying to work out when I'm ovulating.

I hope you get your peak soon and can carry on with plenty of baby dancing!!

@Bluebirdsings we have already had 2 bfp announcements this month maybe 3 waiting to confirm the most recent 1 this weekend I believe🤞 and if I’m right I think it’s only cycle 1 or 2 for those ladies so it’s a lucky group it seems Smile

Welcome @Bluebirdsings, it may well be implantation bleeding so maybe if AF comes do a test?
I personally didn't have any implantation bleeding I strangler have got bleeding around 3dpo this cycle abs last cycle.
@RMS0209 I'm doing well thank you for asking. Just still have a constant low-level cramp still. Boobs are getting sorer but not too bad! Every little cramp I just worry that I'll go to the toilet and will be MC or chemical. I don't know why I'm so worried about this really. Starting to struggle keeping it a secret as everyone's asking me if I want to go out/drinking etc. I'm running out of excuses 😂 I would love to tell people but I am worried about the MC/chemical side of things. I'm now 16/17 dpo. Hope everyone is managing ok with the dreaded tww/waiting for ov 💖

First human baby for me too.. although no fur babies here so guess it's my first any baby except my boyfriend who often acts like my child... 😂

@SMD16 jealous of that holiday! It's my 30th in March and we wanted to go away but just haven't been very organised haha. Seems like we are all similar ages too in here 😊 x
