@farley21 oh yes, that's a decent peak! Your BD plan should have you covered well!

@mrsmacmc I had my HyCoSy without sedation and it was fine, I had a little cramping when they inserted the dye but it wasn't any worth than period pains x

Kay00 · 07/12/2021 18:25

I'm 11dpo. My 1st clomid cycle I had a LP of 13 days, and my 2nd I had a LP of 16days! I'm wondering how long this TWW will be and whether there is any point in testing 🤔

mrsmacmc · 07/12/2021 18:53

@Kay00 thank you for the insight, due to previous traumas with other gynae procedures, attempting a HyCoSy without sedation / GA isn't on the cards for me 🥰

Juno231 · 07/12/2021 19:00

@mrsmacmc I've never heard of a sedated hycosy/HSG tbh. I had one big cramp with mine but it was doable - my friend who is super bad with any pain thought hers went a breeze

@Kay00 gosh I hope it's not 16 as that's a right slog! I've got everything crossed it worked this time 🤞

mrsmacmc · 07/12/2021 19:21

@Juno231 thank you. I don't think it's routine in the UK. My consultant did say there was research being undertaken in collaboration with anaesthetist colleagues about the potential of sedation of some sorts being used during a HyCoSy so that women have the option of middle ground instead of having to pick between nothing and GA 🥰

Gracie2021 · 08/12/2021 07:44

@Kay00 I'm up at 15 day LP's on the medicated cycles now too, they just kept getting longer. I usually test at 12dpo then again about 15 dpo just cause I don't want to have any hope there if that makes sense.

@mrsmacmc So sorry gynae procedures are associated with such trauma for you. Hope you're able to find a solution with your doctor. Can only imagine how much harder that makes this whole process x

@Farley21 Lovely peaks, sounds like you're well covered.

@ChinChilly Sorry about the chocolate, wow thats a toughie, hope you find some nice replacement treats! Hope you're able to sleep through the holiday if needed.

Farley21 · 08/12/2021 13:01

How's everybody today?

@Juno231 are you still on a high after BFP? 😁😁

Had such bad cramps last night and really sore boobs today! Must mean I'm ovulating!

Juno231 · 08/12/2021 13:30

Wait what happened to @ChinChilly 's chocolate 😅

@Farley21 yeah I am 😁. Checking my stats every day at datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer though like a loon

@Gracie2021 @kay00 testing at 12dpo for peace of mind sounds like a good idea.

Juno231 · 08/12/2021 13:32

@Farley21 it does sound like you could have ovulated yesterday! Do you think you'll be a serial pee on a stick kind of girl or are you planning on only testing if AF is late? Or something in between!

Farley21 · 08/12/2021 14:16

@Juno231 ahh that's so exciting!!
Best of luck with everything!!

Yeah I reckon I did too! I think I'll wait it out!
But it's easy saying that now Grin

ChinChilly · 08/12/2021 17:20

@Juno231 I've massively gone off chocolate, i can eat a bit of chocolate in a cookie or something like that but an actual chocolate bar 🤢

Well I've been off work with sickness which I was hoping wouldn't happen this time round, I've got some left over cyclizine (i think its called) from last time so I've been popping those today but they literally knock me out all day so I need to ask the doctors for an alternative really.

Juno231 · 08/12/2021 18:20

@ChinChilly oh dear - all good signs though I hope. How far along are you now? When is the next scan?

Kay00 · 08/12/2021 19:49

@chinchilly ugh! Your sickness sounds horrible... I hope it doesn't last too long for you, and I hope your doctor can prescribe something effective x

I'll probably test tomorrow (13dpo) because I'm going to a large fancy dress party tomorrow night (OH's company throw legendary parties at Exeter Castle and I love dressing up 🥸😆) and I'd like a drink if I'm not pregnant!

Also... I have had unusual pinching/tugging sharp cramps intermittently today on the one side where my womb is and have completely convinced myself it's implantation 🙄🙄🙄 goddammit... when will I learn! 🤡🤡🤡

ChinChilly · 08/12/2021 20:40

@Juno231 8+5 today according to last weeks scan, Still haven't got one planned! I haven't heard off the hospital with the follow up blood results from last week but I'm not convinced they'll offer me another scan I was thinking of booking one for 10-11 weeks but I'm not sure about potentially getting bad news just before xmas.

@Kay00 Dr Google says the sickness peaks around 8-9 weeks so hopefully its just at its peak and it wears off before Christmas. The pulling and tugging sounds promising though...keeping everything crossed for you!

Gracie2021 · 09/12/2021 07:54

@chinchilly wow you've been hit hard. Hope your doctor can find the perfect "magic pill" for you. Thats what my friend calls what was prescribed to her, hope you get something as effective. Does it make the waiting worse without the distraction of work?

@Kay00 fingers crossed no drinking for you at the party :) But hope you have a fab night either way.

Starting my health kick here today. With stuff increasingly getting quieter for the winter with Covid here I need to find a new coping mechanism besides eating my feelings lol. Going to try to move to comfort exercise, has never been successful in the past but you never know! On the bright side CD2 and period is changing as the acupuncturist said they wanted it to so heres hoping thats a good sign for the lining this month.

Gracie2021 · 09/12/2021 07:55

@Juno231 did you get your 2-3 week progression yet? I might be way too early asking, hard to keep track of time sometimes!

Tillybabs · 09/12/2021 07:56

@Juno231 congratulations! I'm so pleased for you. You have been on this journey a long time and I know what it's like to feel like it won't happen so I'm super happy for you.

@ChinChilly I'm glad your scan went well and sorry to hear about your sickness

@Ams19 omg twins! That's wonderful

I'm currently at the hospital having my MRI shortly. Nothing new to report

Juno231 · 09/12/2021 08:08

@Tillybabs hope the MRI goes well and they don't keep you waiting too long

@Kay00 fingers crossed for today, twinges and pulling sound promising!

@Gracie2021 I did get the 2-3 on Tuesday, I just feel bad reporting on it too much here in case I'm upsetting people. My RHR is really high now too, it's at 79 so it's gone up 12 beats since ovulation and 18 beats since my FP. I can really feel it being elevated! I feel I should comfort exercise too lol, I've been eating way too much since Dec rolled around, even though I told myself I wouldn't.

@ChinChilly 8+5 is fantastic! That puts you at 96.2% likely to carrying to term!

Thank you @tillybabs. Still feel like something will go wrong so haven't really done much prep but taking it day by day. 31 weeks today so 6 weeks to go all being well 🤞🤞

Ams19 · 09/12/2021 08:17

Amazing news @Juno231 sorry that hadn't loaded when I replied! All looking amazing, so pleased for you

ChinChilly · 09/12/2021 08:49

@Gracie2021 to be honest I ended up sleeping pretty much all day yesterday i think I was awame between 12-2 and then about 5:30-10:30 so not much time to think lol. I've requested an appointment with a GP today to try and get a magic pill.

@Juno231 yay for the 2-3 and your RHR has really shot up. Mine is up about 10-12 since O, it doesn't really change much now just bounces around between 70-72. I think because of the mmc last time I've still got that thought in my head especially seen as I was so ill right up until the day of the surgical management really.. it's hard to shake that.

Kay00 · 09/12/2021 09:08

@chinchilly I would be tempted to get another scan too Smile although I totally get your concerns about it being just before Xmas!

@Juno231 Woohoo for 2-3 weeks! Sounds like everything is progressing lovely Smile

Yes, the tugging and pulling yesterday has completely messed with my mind! Its stopped now... it was probably wind Grin haha! I'll test later when I get some FRERs delivered. I'm 13DPO and my temp is steady, just above my luteal line. The fall from my hope fortress will be hard again Sad

Kay00 · 09/12/2021 11:48

Nope... I had my pee (5 hour hold), used a couple of cheapies, BFN. Damn!

I'm actually not as cut up as I thought I would be. I guess my imagination interpreted my cramps incorrectly yesterday and the Clomid is giving me extra long LP's, but no pregnancies yet.

ChinChilly · 09/12/2021 16:14

@Kay00 Urgh! Sorry about the BFN

I had my follow up call from Tommy's this afternoon, they've prescribed 75mg of levothyroxine because as I already knew my thyroid is out. I'm hoping it's not too late for it to save this pregnancy.

Kay00 · 09/12/2021 16:21

@chinchilly thanks xx

Its great they have prescribed what you need xx Can you pick up the prescription soon?
