@MrsRosaline I'm sorry you're feeling crap, it's so hard this TTC rollercoaster; it reallly is so bloody unfair. It feels like your happiness is stolen from you so I completely relate. I've been feeling super down this week too, I think becuase I feel like I'm properly having to start this whole journey again. I agree you should stop doing opk, it will just stress you out and if you're not trying this month try to just forget about it, wait for AF to arrive and then start afresh. Getting my period kind of refocused me a bit and I'm no longer obsessing over everything. We will do this cycle together xxx

@hoola23 we are in the same boat really aren't we! It's so unfair. I thought I was finally there! And now to start again is just crushing but I wish my body would just do what it's meant to!

@MrsRosaline totally! And it's so unfair, you finally think YES! I work!!🤣 but the reality is that our bodies are doing exactly what it's meant to when chemicals happen, the pregnancy is not viable for unknown reasons and our bodies are amazing at recognising that and trying again to make sure the baby is as healthy as possible. It's a very pragmatic view I know and doesn't make us feel that much better but I know for me I want to make sure my baby is as healthy as possible. It still doesn't take away the heartache though. We will get there I'm sure, you've got pregnant so you know your body is doing what it needs to get to that stage so don't panic, it will happen hun xxx

@Aims1991 I've been tracking since January. It was quite important (for job reasons) to conceive in April or May, but now that's totally out of the window and I don't even care anymore. Just so fed up with it. I don't remember it being this hard with DD.

@FlyOnTheWall89 you're right about the announcements. So down today. Think I need a bath and some sulking to do when I get back.

@hoola23 I think once I know I've ovulated after the miscarriage I'll relax a bit...

@MrsRosaline yeah I know you will. Believe me I would be tearing my hair out too! I would see if your period arrives in the next couple of weeks, if not maybe just call you GP for advice. This is going to sound silly but you did get a negative test again didn't you x

@FlyOnTheWall89 the announcements are the worst. And baby updates on fb, I find myself feeling so dismissive of people!

@hoola23 yea I did get a negative test and it was confirmed with a blood test too ☹️

@MrsRosaline ok, was just checking in case that might be the reason ovulation is not appearing. I would defo forget all about ovulation, give it two weeks or so and if AF hasn't arrived then maybe chat with the GP. Have you thought about acupuncture, I know lots of people who have had success with this after a miscarriage to move things along. I actually became pregnant the month I started. Obv I lost it but I'm going to start again next month

Honestly the TTC journey when it's not straightforward is so hard and lonely, I think so many of us here on this thread can relate. It's difficult to share the ups and downs with friends and family (usually they don't even know we are TTC!) and also see the neverending stream of announcements so sending everyone strength especially @Aims1991*@hoola23 @MrsRosaline and @FlyOnTheWall89*

I'm back in blighty tomorrow night and really crossing my fingers and toes that AF doesn't appear before then but don't feel confident about it @newtolineofduty Everyone is wondering why I'm so low today but I am scared of seeing the dreaded red everytime I go to the loo, obviously I can't share that! But also seeing a BFN is awful too so my plan is to test on Saturday if AF hasn't shown her face by then. Just feel quite fed up and sad but in a way want to get on with it as long cycles are such a pain and drag it out!

Got my (what looks to be) positive OPK this morning so 🤞🏼 for ov, but my cycles have been all over the place since the covid vaccine a few months back, so hoping for some positive signs that this is it!

@lionsmum I was fine after 1st vaccine but after my second I had a longer cycle then it went back to normal. Fingers crossed it works out for you

@hoola23 thank you! so I'd say this month is our first actively TTC, we haven't used protection for a few months but as I mentioned my cycles have been all over the place so decided to get the OPK's out & actually start paying attention again! How long have you been TTC? Is it #1?☺️x

@lionsmum officially month 11, but properly tracked my cycles since April. And the last 2/3 months we are changing what we eat and do.

@lionsmum I think I'm month 12 now, honestly I've lost count🤣 had a chemical last month which was horrible, but was very special feeling getting a BFP! Fertile week is next week so second time trying since the chemical now
