@plantbasedlondoner I've to get bloods done first. I want a scan and for OH to get sperm analysis done but we have to get bloods done first 🙄

@plantbasedlondoner thanks! It's eased up a bit today but much heavier than normal. I wonder if my body is still resetting itself after the chemical or something?

Feeling incredibly down and moody with this cycle. Literally feel like a teenager 🤣 my poor DH is staying away as I've been so snappy and down. Hate being like this!

Feeling a bit crappier I think because my friend has just found out she's pregnant. Super happy for her but those feelings of jealousy and feeling despondent set in! She's been trying half the time I have! Feel like I'm going to be the only one left childless!

@Aims1991 aww it sounds like they are doing it the right way, bloods will help show up any hormonal imbalances and if you're ovulating too. Best of luck hun.

@hoola23 Big hugs to you. Sorry you are feeling like that right now. So natural to feel a mix of emotions when a close friend announces their pregnancy. It's natural to feel wistful, jealous even - I have felt the same. It also hits you harder when you are having your period and dealing with all that PMS! I seem to have a lot of friends who say they got pregnant the first try ("the first month we stopped using natural cycles!") and even one who got pregnant while using the Pill as she had an upset tummy for two days. It is always nice when friends say something privately rather than announce it on a group with a pic of their BFP ... slightly triggering! Also my best friend just told me the other day they aren't trying at all, but then also that they don't use contraception, so I said "so you are trying then?" It seems like people aren't entirely honest about how long it takes and skim over the details a lot. Sadly sets us all up for high expectations I think.

@plantbasedlondoner you're so right! People will say they're not trying if they're just not using contraception which ends up giving a false impression of how quickly people fall pregnant! I've seen lots of friends tell others in front of me how long it took them to get pregnant and it's been totally different to what they told me! It's like there's shame with it taking a while even once it's happened which shouldn't be the case as it's totally normal!

Hi everyone!! Sorry been a bit MIA - just trying to keep myself busy to sort of get the whole "I'm not pregnant for Christmas" thing out of my head. Was down in the dumps a few days ago about it all, and I know there's still this next month to try, but equally it's just a bit like "what's the whole point" really.

Bleeding has finally stopped (stopped yesterday) so I guess that means my cycle may be delayed by like 2 days - this is just because my bleeding went on for an extra 2 days. Back to the old CM tracking 😂😂

@plantbasedlondoner feeling a bit better than the other day thankfully! Bleeding has pretty much stopped now so fertile week is approaching. Going to start on sat and do every other day u til CD11 and then go every day to really maximise my chances this month!

@CShandy01 I know how you feel, but there is still time to get a BFP before Xmas! Although, that would mean an alcohol free Xmas! Decisions decisions 🤣🤣

My DH has been so sweet over the last few days. I don't even have to tell him I feel so crap about not being pregnant, he just knows and talks about how much sex we're going to have soon 🤣 and we will just keep trying and trying and it will happen!

Hiya @plantbasedlondoner. I am feeling so low today. I don't know what it is about this month but it's so much worse than all the others. I don't know if it's because we're nearly at the 12 month mark. I can't believe I thought I'd have a baby by now and I'm not even pregnant. I feel like I've been lied to my whole life about how easy it happens!

Quick question... does anyone know when a new cycle technically starts? I get brown discharge for 2 days (weirdly, that never happened before we were TTC), and then bleeding starts. I've always started the new cycle from when bleeding properly starts but I'm not sure if this is right?!

@hoola23 I'm just a day or two behind you I think! Sounds like a great plan you've got for this month x

Hey @GemB03 sorry you're feeling down, I totally get it! I guess we just have to keep pushing through, even when it feels like there's little hope! Have you had any blood work done?

They say cd1 is the first day of proper blood/flow and spotting should just be recorded as spotting. I also get spotting 1-4 days before AF these days

@hoola23 Thank you. It is so nice to talk to people who get it. Yeah, bloods are fine and so is DH's sample. We have an appointment with the doc on Monday about next steps. I will be so disheartened if they say to just keep trying. Does anyone know what the next steps are likely to be?

Morning all, just sitting in doctors to get my bloods done, AF finally away so time to start trying again

@GemB03 I have a feeling they will just say keep trying! And it is highly likely that you will conceive within the next 6m to a year but I guess they could start exploring stuff like icsi and ivf but I think you have to try for two years naturally before nhs would assist with that however, I could be completely wrong! 🤣 I know it's frustrating but there is a good positive there that everything is working as it should. Just maybe the right spree and right egg that will make your perfect bubs just haven't crossed paths yet! They will do though! They say having patience as a parent is a must, this is clearly why🤣🤣

@Aims1991 hope everything is okay with your bloods!

@hoola23 I will let you know what they say on Monday! I am the least patient person ever so maybe this is good practice for parenthood 🤣 how long have you been TTC for?

@GemB03 omg me too🤣 I'm actually the worst!! Honestly, ive lost count! I think this is month 14 now. I had a chemical a couple of months ago so that gave me some reassurance that my eggs and uterus are doing what they should and my DH does have some sperm! I'm giving it until jan and if still nothing we're going to the doctors for bloods. My DH already has two children so any assistance we need would have to be private sadly. Ridiculously unfair but nothing we can do there!

I think it's because it signals the year is over and by being pregnant you can start the new year happy maybe? Who knows. Xmas is always a target for so many things e.g I'd
Like to lose 5 stone by Xmas I think losing 5 stone is more realistic than getting pregnant for me🤣🤣

Morning everyone! How are we all doing? CD 8 here and so begins the daily CM check 😂😂 think I'm going to start using the OPK tests maybe CD 11 just to see what's up. Feeling very positive about stuff - not saying that I'll get a BFP and I'm in no way positive about THAT, but I have a genuine feeling of "it'll all be alright". Started back at the gym, got myself a new skin care routine that seems to be working, eating better, meditating as well, just really focusing on the positives. A lot of women at work are now pregnant, and I actually am weirdly at peace with it all. Of course that'll probably change in the TWW whenever that will happen!! 😂😂 xxx

@CShandy01 love your attitude! Smashing it hun! We're all around the same cd more or less I'm cd5 and period is pretty much done now. Super manic baby maki will commence tomo eve. I know there's no point DTD tomo as ovulation consistently seems to be cd15 these days but the month I conceived we started cd6 so just gonna follow that pattern and hope for the best 🤣

@hoola23 defiantly. I'm not sure wither to try and DTD every second day until I get my peak 🙈🤣
