Morning everyone, hope you don't mind me joining this thread! Just after some advice and to keep in touch with people going through similar! Sorry in advance for the long post!
We’re trying to conceive but were only able to DTD once, last night, which I think was ovulation day.
OPKS:
I got an almost positive OPK on CD12 (Friday 29th Oct), then two very similar positives on CD13 (Saturday 30 October). Of those two positives, both were darker than the control line, but one possibly slightly darker than the other. Premom app recognises the first one of other day (1pm) as a “high” and the second one of that day (10pm) to be the peak if I upload these as “other” tests (they’re Boots own brand tests). However, if I upload them as Easy@home tests (which they’re not), it recognises the first of that day to be the peak, and the second as the high. Not sure why they are different, but do you agree I should rely on the readings under the “other” tab because they are Boots tests, which say my peak was 10pm? Then I took a test yesterday morning (Sunday - CD14) and it was negative (line still clearly visible but lighter than the control line). Would this mean yesterday CD14 was likely to be my ovulation day, or could it be today (Monday – CD15).
CM/symptoms:
I also had EWCM on Saturday, but by the time I got to check on Sunday it was still very watery and leaking out sometimes as it had been before, but was getting more of a cloudy/white and lotiony consistency rather than stretchy. I only check the entrance to my vagina. I don't know jhow to check too far in though, so maybe could have been more EW further up? Hoping this was still fertile mucus. I was also achey in my uterus area (like very mild period pains) on CD 14 so hope this was some kind of ovulation pain, and also feeling that dull ache again today.
Anyway, we only got to DTD last night (Sunday) and I’m worried we’ve missed the boat if CD14 was my ovulation day and we only did it at 7pm, and because my CM had changed a bit that day. Is it normal for CM to suddenly change on ovulation day and to have a negative/lighter test than the previous day? Or do you think I’m out this month? Was it possible that I could have ovulated on CD13 which is the day I got my peak, or does a peak usually happen a bit before actual ovulation? I don’t temp by the way, but apps did predict CD14 as my ovulation day. Getting myself worked up so would really appreciate your thoughts everyone ☹ Thanks in advance x
