Hi girls, getting a bit paranoid that the old thread will fill up and we'll lose each other so here's the next for when it's done :)

I am not even sure myself, literally just got the phonecall to tell me. All I know is she said I can’t get pregnant and sustain it naturally on my own so it’s just a waiting game for the clinic now. Estimated two years at the moment so I hope that changes.

@xoJellyBean ok so I just googled it, it basically controls how much testosterone is in your body, if it's too low there more testosterone, so I would have had something similar as my testosterone was very high indicating the pcos.
I would say, don't get yourself too down about it just yet as it IS possible. Use me as a case study and the many other women with pcos who have a successful pregnancy. Unfortunately they like to scare women with pcos saying they have more risk of losing pregnancies, but it's not true every time so don't give up hope 💛

The wait list is just ridiculous! Has your dh had tests done? Do you have scope to go private? We had that added frustration of bad sperm 😞 my friend who has pcos NEVER ovulated but went strictly keto and she ovulates regularly now, I'm sure you've already looked into it but anything is worth a try? Have you tried ovasitol? That helped me a lot too.
I know it's frustrating but you have to keep the faith xx

@Justanothercyster thanks so much. That’s been really helpful! I feel floored tbh and just so fed up with it all… I’ve binned all my LH tests and am just stopping it all for now. Will try a few months and give my brain a break. It’s too hard lol

I’ve been on keto before and lost two stone! So will defo go on it again if it will help me ☺️ My GP has asked for repeat bloods next Thursday so will see how they come back and have just been in touch with a private clinic today, they have been so helpful already and can see me right away! Will look in to ovasitol too, thank you xx

@xoJellyBean oh I'm so glad you're seeing the clinic! It's a massive investment but if you can do it, do it for sure. It's all so emotional especially when you've been trying so long but you'll get there. I think binning the strips is a good idea as they just don't work for us! Definitely give yourself some time to relax and not think about it all for a bit, it helps a lot x

@xoJellyBean hey how are you doing? Sorry I’ve been quiet, been struggling lately and need a break for a bit. I’ve got a positive opk today so hoping this works as next cycle is ivf.

Hey @Suki2020 sorry to hear you’ve not been doing great. I understand completely! Are you still on clomid? Ive been so low since Tuesday, another friend announced her pregnancy today and she’s 20 weeks. Really hope this cycle works for you ❤️

Hey @Justanothercyster, how are you doing? I’m 9dpo at the moment. Was hoping to start ivf on my next cycle but I ovulated earlier than expected this cycle so my amh blood test won’t be back in time to start next cycle now. So fingers crossed it will be the following one.

I have no idea where I am in my cycle right now, not tracking anything this month. Got more bloods done & my SHBG is even lower and I have got super high androgens 🙇🏻‍♀️ just counting down the days before I see the clinic!

@Suki2020 I have everything crossed that this is a lucky one but it's good ivf is on the horizon! I'm struggling with pain a lot but otherwise ok thank you :)

@xoJellyBean definite pcos then, countdown begins, I hope they can help you quickly.

@Justanothercyster remind me because my brain is shite, did you have a consultation with a fertility clinic? I really don't know what to expect and I'm worried incase I'm too hopeful. I know he's going to look at my bloods but can he offer me treatment (almost) immediately?

@xoJellyBean I did, but that was after I already had my diagnosis and dh found out about his sperm issue.
Unfortunately there's no treatment for pcos BUT in terms of fertility aids they will give you a plan straight away yes, most likely metformin/ clomid/ Letrozole or something like that to make you ov more regularly. They like you to try that for 6 months and then they tend to offer ivf is the usual pattern x

@Justanothercyster thank you. I haven't been diagnosed yet so im assuming he will want to diagnose me first 🙄 im so desperate to be pregnant at least next year!! Can't cope with all this waiting 🤣

@xoJellyBean aww hope it stays away for you. I’m on cd 8 I have to wait another cycle as I ovulated early and they couldn’t get my AMH blood test results back in time.

@Suki2020 what's the AMH blood test? I'm still learning lol got my private appt soon so I hope it brings some hope. I'm CD28 so it's a weird early one again! Not tracking at all so not sure if I ovulated

@xoJellyBean AMH blood test is to see what your egg count is. Mine was 30.9 this time but was 40 18months ago.
That’s good that it’s a shorter cycle again. Are you doing anything different?

@Suki2020 AF arrived and I'm crippled with cramps ffs🤣I have stopped tracking and came off my ttc vitamins, I'm just taking folic acid and vitamin D. When are you hoping to start ivf? X

@xoJellyBean sorry to hear af has started. If my cycle stays the same as the last few months hopefully mid nov but will depend on my thyroid blood test results as they’ve been too high.

Just thought I would update everyone. I should be 12 weeks this week but unfortunately baby died at 10. I'm currently going through my miscarriage. Most heartbreaking thing IV been through. Hopefully will be back on this thread if we decide to try again 💔. Keep strong ladies we wil get there 🤞💞 xx
