@MissC07 if your boobs are that sore have you tried doing a test just in case? Maybe if AF doesn't show in the next day or two it might be worth just checking. You never know!

@Sunshinedaisybuttermellow we are still going to try as there’s no gynaecological reason why I can’t get pregnant other than I have low AMH. I only do OPKs as my cycles are not regular and want to make sure we are BDing before a positive OPK. Temping is “normal” for me now as I get up at 6am for work every morning and take my levothyroxine before I get out of bed.

Hey all, no update from me. I better not ovulate this week as we are now banned from DTD until thursday night (for semen sample quality)

Not alot going on here really, 3dpo today trying to forget about testing until me period is atleast a few days late... I really don't want to know about any more chemicals that might happen.

Just got back from my gynae appointment, she's prescribed me Provera to bring on a bleed and they are booking me in for blood tests and an internal scan again after the bleed.... got another appointment in 3 weeks for follow up and results but she said 'basically we'll probably just need to give you clomid..'
Only positive to come out of the session was that she told me I was tall and slim (the latter definitely not being true!!) good old autumn weather and hiding underneath jumpers!

@MissC07 do you mind me asking if this was nhs? I have NHS gynaecology soon and am a bit hopeful theyll give clomid. I'm NHS Glasgow

@TheDaydreamBelievers of course I don't mind 😊 It was private unfortunately. I didn't go down the NHS route (except when I had my initial blood tests and scan) as my work has really good private cover. I hope they do give you clomid though 🤞

That's okay @MissC07 - our private assessment is this week so might end up getting the same from them! Jealous yours is under insurance though

@TheDaydreamBelievers good luck with your appointment this week. Have they said what is involved at the appointment?
Haha I'm starting to worry my consultant was blind 😂 I'm in need of losing about 10kgs!!

Today was assessment not results but the scan tech said anatomically everything looks great, which rules out polycystic ovaries for me. Still no answer about why not ovulating though!

Hi ladies! Sorry for the huge absence. I have had a lot going on these past few weeks: my grandad came to stay for a week (which was like looking after a toddler), then my sis in law moved in (escaping her abusive bf), she brought with her her pregnant dog who has since had 7 puppies (see pics 🥰), and my stepmother died of Covid. It has been difficult to grieve with a full house and I im exhausted!

How are you all? Have we had any good news?

I'm 3DPO on my 1st Clomid cycle. It has so far gone to plan 😇 during my scan af CD14 I had 3 x dominant follicles, which was more than they were happy with. They recommended I don't try this cycle due to the risk of multiples, but I didn't fancy dropping out of my 1st Clomid cycle when the risks are still pretty low. So we continued to try and got pretty good coverage 😅 I hope its successful... but I hope its not triplets!

@thedaydreambelievers no offence but surprised you didn't have polycystic ovaries! I'm mean it's great that you don't, but it would have been the obvious explanation for your long cycles. Did the nurse who scanned you give any explanation? When is your appointment with the consultant?

@TheDaydreamBelievers good news on the PCOS but also frustrating as no clear answers.

6dpo here, temps are still up. I've been having crazy vivid dreams the last 2 nights, I think that's just part of the LP though, too early to be anything exciting

Zero offence taken @Kay00 - I though the exact same! Ovaries size, shape, number of follicles all normal for age and no cysts seen. Uterus all healthy with a couple of cysts of a type that are normal and nothing impeding conception. Cervix fine.

She said cause could be metabolic and seemed surprised that thyroid etc all came back fine. Asked if GP had done hormone profiling and was super unsurprised that they had but on the wrong days (she rolled her eyes hard at GP). Was also very happy that I track and said it gives them loads of good info. She said she suspects their recommendation will be IUI with triggered ovulation.

Consultation is 27th october

Also @Kay00 those puppies 😍😍😍 can I just take them home?!

@MissC07 sounds like the appointment went relatively well then.

Nothing really to say from me. Didn't track this month so don't really know where I'm up to. Think I'm most likely somewhere between 10 and 15 dpo based on previous cycles and symptoms.
No symptoms of anything much really yet. Boobs not really sore, little bit achy but nothing to speak of. Relatively normal cervical mucus for this stage of my cycle. Cervix high, firm and closed.
I'm thinking if there's no AF, spotting or bloodshot cervical mucus by Tuesday I'll do a test maybe.

@thedaydreambelievers I think IUI with situmulated ovulation (likely Clomid) would be a great option for you 😊

The puppies are super cute 😍 they have started to open their eyes and today they have been trying to walk on all fours 🥰

Am on day 3 of taking Provera today, it's making me super bloated and moody. I keep snappjng at my OH. Although tbh don't know if that's the tablets or him being a general douche 🤣 Have got my bloods and scan on 14th, so lets hope AF has started by then! Has anybody on here been given Provera before??

@MissC07 I've never been on it but I'm not sure if there is something in the air, I've been exactly the same tonight I think at one point I was actually picking for an argument with OH, road rage was an issue this evening aswell 🤣

@ChinChilly honestly he was driving me insane today. Asked me what the weather was like outside... when I was still in bed with the blinds shut. Started trying to have a conversation with me whilst I was on a conference call, and generally just breathing!! Road rage is a killer, the petrol issue down here is a joke too, did a loop of 6 petrol stations this evening and none are open!! I only have 50miles left on the car 😫

Jeez @MissC07 where are you? I'm raging at my DH too today. Hes just pissing me off!

@MissC07 petrol situation is crazy here aswell, the petrol station near me filled up and was stripped again a few hours later, luckily I filled up just before the mayhem started so I should be ok for another couple of weeks.

@TheDaydreamBelievers I'm down in Surrey (about 20miles from London) It's an absolute joke - it's like the toilet roll situation all over again 🤬 I'm glad my OH isn't the only one being a giant pain in the arse today! He's gone for a boys night out which no doubt means he'll come home crashing around soon too....
