I've just seen this @Luckyducky2 I am so, so sorry to hear this. I'm heartbroken for you ❤️ Sending you a big hug.
I hope they don't charge you for cancelling - I went down once when I did superovulation and was expecting to have intralipids but as I wasn't ready to trigger, they said not to do them and I didn't get charged. I'm thinking of you xx

@Daffodil21 I hope you're OK. I think it must feel quite surreal to be this close. I hope you can enjoy these last couple of weeks (as much as you can) 💙

@Tumby I hope you're doing OK too xx

Started progynova today, I'm glad I have started, hoping we get some answers. Sorry not to tag everyone, but hope you're all OK xx

Tumby · 26/07/2021 22:59

@Luckyducky2 I really am so sorry, I'm devastated for you and I'm sure your emotions are all over the place right now. It's so hard not to blame ourselves but you aren't alone. Sending you so many virtual hugs. Is there anything that brings you comfort during times like this? Is there a particular food you like, or book you can snuggle up into bed with? I went for a walk on Saturday when this all started and just sat in nature. It's so, so difficult not to just feel like this is the end but all I would say is to take one day at a time and be very kind to yourself. Maybe Dr S will provide you with some insight. I feel for you, I really do & we're all here to just 'get you'. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@Daffodil21 not insensitive at all. You're entitled to your emotions at any point in your journey!

@VenusStarr I'm glad you're feeling a bit more positive and you've started the progynova. Thanks for checking in - I just feel very low & struggling quite a lot. I looked back at what had happened with my previous mcs and remember now that they follow almost the exact same pattern - I bleed at around 5 weeks for a bit and then without doubt, a week passes & then I fully mc. So I'm just waiting for it to happen really. Terrified it'll be whilst we're camping.

Hope everyone else is alright & hope you get a bit of sleep for all struggling with anxiety xxx

ginandoreos · 27/07/2021 17:37

Hi everyone,

Just an update to say that things went well at the scan today. Feeling very hopeful but also a long way to go.

Thinking of you all, especially knowing that this could be hard to read.

Still riddled with anxiety but also feeling very grateful at this point in time.

Xxx

Lozfish · 27/07/2021 17:59

That's great news @ginandoreos congratulations 😘😘😘 Sorry if I've missed this but how many weeks are you?

I managed to get my hysteroscopy (to fix the adhesions caused by the first hysteroscopy/retained tissue saga) scheduled for this Thursday and I only just started my period so I think I'll be able to try this cycle! I literally begged them to squeeze me in so I didn't have to miss a cycle of trying - though I bet he'll tell me to wait till my next period. Anyone else had minor adhesions fixed before?

Xxx

ginandoreos · 27/07/2021 18:12

Oh @Lozfish I hope it works out that you can try straight away. Sometimes we just need things to fall into place 🤞🏼🤞🏼. I really hope it all goes well on Thursday and you can take some time to rest and be kind to yourself too ❤️.

It was meant to be 10+4 but they dated me as 10+6 today. So 11 weeks tomorrow. Now to get to the 12 week scan which will be at 13 + 2 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼. Xx

Daffodil21 · 27/07/2021 18:14

@ginandoreos so so pleased to read this!! I know you'll still be beyond anxious but hang on in there. Next milestone is not far away ❤️

ginandoreos · 27/07/2021 18:19

@Daffodil21 thank you so much. I feel so lucky after today but also still so apprehensive, as these early weeks are just so scary. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 for all of us, wherever we are currently at ❤️.

Xxxxx

bluepixie · 27/07/2021 18:53

@Lozfish I’ve had adhesions removed which stopped me getting pregnant and once gone my next ivf cycle worked (the 2 before were bfn but I didn’t know I had the adhesions). I’m currently 12 plus 1 last scan was ok at 10
Plus 4 but no idea if I’m still ok!

HopingForABlessing · 27/07/2021 19:47

Hey girls,
I was prescribed Xonvea for my sickness and never actually got round to using it. I have two packs which I paid £104 for so if anyone needs them do let me know! I heard someone at the Epsom clinic last week contemplating whether to get them or not because of how pricey they are. Happy to give them away for a lot less! Xx

Lozfish · 27/07/2021 22:17

@Cream123 thank you! It's a relief to know that it helped you to have them removed. I'm lucky that I'm getting such good care from the consultant that Dr. S referred me to - he wouldn't let me try again until he'd had a look so I'm glad I listened and wasn't impatient! Fortunately my work private medical is covering all these procedures so I am feeling so lucky that I'm getting it fixed so quickly.

@ginandoreos that's fantastic that you're a little ahead of where you thought. I'm so pleased for you, not long to go now until that 12 week scan 😊

treesall · 27/07/2021 22:57

@ginandoreos that's great news on your scan!

@Lozfish best of luck for Thursday, I hope it's a quick and simple procedure xx

bluepixie · 28/07/2021 06:59

@Lozfish who is doing yours? Good luck!

Lozfish · 28/07/2021 08:17

@Cream123 Haider Jan down at Ashstead hospital. I am so excited to get discharged, I've been having this miscarriage since April!

bluepixie · 28/07/2021 08:27

@Lozfish I’m so sorry. It’s so hard but glad your getting sorted x

VenusStarr · 28/07/2021 08:54

Good luck @Lozfish Mr Jan is doing my endometrio tests, had my consultation with him last week and seeing him on Friday for my first scan. He's nice.

@Luckyducky2 I hope you're OK, been thinking of you 💜

How are you getting on @Tumby?

HollyLucky · 28/07/2021 08:59

@ginandoreos That is such good news, so nice to hear. You’re nearly there xx

@Lozfish It is great they got you an appointment for tomorrow, must be such a relief to get this miscarriage over with !

Daffodil21 · 28/07/2021 09:13

@Lozfish I hope today goes well. I'm so so sorry you're still go through your mc from April. I'm glad the end is in sight Thanks

Lozfish · 28/07/2021 09:30

Thank you everyone

@VenusStarr he's great, he's incredibly thorough and he will answer all your questions and make sure you have everything you need. Totally different to my interaction with consultants at my EPU where you feel rushed out and dismissed

treesall · 28/07/2021 10:05

@Lozfish drJan did my 6 week scan at CRP last week and he seems to be an expert in gynae procedures so I'm sure you're in excellent hands.

Lozfish · 28/07/2021 11:34

Does anyone else just bruise like a peach on this aspirin? My legs are covered in bruises, I can't shave my legs without cutting myself and I bled after having my eyebrows threaded, it was so embarrassing as she was really worried she'd hurt me!

HollyLucky · 28/07/2021 11:47

@Lozfish It’s funny you wrote that as I’ve been having soooo many bruises on my legs! I started baby aspirin beginning of June and the bruising only started happening recently. But compared to the horrendous side effects I had from the hydroxy though, I’ll take bruising any day !

Luckyducky2 · 28/07/2021 14:15

Hi girls so sorry I haven't been on here, my head is all over the place and I feel like I'm not taking anything in. I've just had another blood test this morning and got the results there, it's risen from 470 up to 772, not quite doubling but it's definitely trying in there. I've to go back for another blood test on Friday and they've booked me in for a scan next week when I will be 6 weeks. I'm so scared. I'm terrified of scans as it is but this is obviously to find where this embryo is growing and take it from there. I don't think they can do anything until they know where it is? So here I am stuck in limbo land going slightly insane!!

Hope you are all okay, I know everyone is going through so much right now ❤ xxx

treesall · 28/07/2021 14:22

Arghhhhh @Luckyducky2 I'm so sorry that you're in this situation. The periods of limbo are by far the worst, you don't know whether to have hope, you can't get excited, you can't grieve, you can't do anything and it's just awful. Sending you all the positive vibes abs hoping your little bean is hanging in there! Max

Luckyducky2 · 28/07/2021 15:07

@treesall limbo land is just the worst isn't it! I can deal with it not working but as you say, do you let yourself get a little bit of hope or just accept its over. The not knowing is horrendous. I'm just going to have to try stay as busy to help the time pass, but I keep bursting into tears xxx

Lozfish · 28/07/2021 15:32

@Luckyducky2 I totally know what you mean. I actually had a bit of a meltdown myself yesterday as I am at the point where we can try again (after my surgery tomorrow) and I suddenly realised it won't be long before I'm going through it all again. I find the certainty of the loss so much easier than the uncertainty of pregnancy, especially when just working from home all day! On one hand though I am happy that you're still in the game, that's very positive and I hope you're able to hold onto a little bit of hope xx
