Hey @Sparklingwine1 I would be cycle 4 however not going to be ttc in August as based on my AF I would be due the day I am meant to be a bridesmaid lol!! Back to it in Sept, wouldn't mind being a pregnant bridesmaid but not a due one haha! will still lurk around on MN though rooting for everyone 😀😀

@SkeletonSkins I’ve booked a scan for 8 weeks, which I’m hoping will give me reassurance and tied me over until 12!

What a week to have off work aswell, the weather has been gorgeous!! Well I’m glad you’re not stressing about it. I think taking the OPKs away is best as they’re just not reliable and clearly give your false hope. Hopefully your body is gearing up for another go 🤞

@KayL1988 haha good I’m glad! I still need to watch the reunion! That’s so exciting, I bet it feels sooooo real now? Even saying that I’m pregnant out loud freaks me out, let alone going to appointments haha. I’m good thanks, just tired with the biggest boobs 😂

@Sparklingwine1 I thought so too! Also, Kopperburg do non alcohol ciders if they’re abit of? I poured mine into a glass at the pub today and no one was any wiser 💁🏻‍♀️

@HRP1990 I think an early scan is a good idea if your feeling a bit anxious. I get why the appointments are spaced out but it's so difficult when you find out so early these days. Definitely need to watch the reunion, any sickness for you yet?? Tiredness is rough! I struggle going back to work after a few days off 🥲

@KayL1988 also I’ve read so many threads on here which I shouldn’t have, looking back. About sacs being empty, baby being in the wrong place etc. I’ve just freaked myself out lol. No sickness actually but I think it starts potentially week 6?

Oh god I bet! Are you still working from home? I’m not sure I could work in an office with this fatigue!

Yeah my OH had to keep telling me to be more positive. The odds are more in your favour that everything will be okay and completely normal, so hopefully you don't stress yourself out too much!

Yeah that's what the say, I've not actually been sick, just feel it which I guess isn't too bad! Yes still working from home, they are talking about a few more days in the office now things have opened up, so wondering if I should tell my manager soon (otherwise I'll look hideously lazy dodging the long days). How about you?

@HRP1990 I was in two minds about paying for a private scan but having had one at just shy of 10 weeks this weekend I can say it was money well spent! So reassuring. Time is going so slowly at the moment and just seeing some evidence of it all being real was lovely.

Baby was a good size, strong heartbeat and measuring as expected with my date estimates :) they were wiggling their little arms and legs around loads too which was really fun to see.

@KayL1988 think that'll definitely be me for the next month! My OH wanted to carry on ttc but I'm all geared up to be a bridesmaid so didn't fancy my due date being her wedding day so August off it is :)

@glasspaw glad you find the scan reassuring! That's so cute 🥰 time moves so slowly waiting for the next milestone!

@Aries491 does your friend whose getting married know you are TTC? One of my friends whose bridesmaid said the bride had basically said she didn't want a pregnant bridesmaid, and also she doesn't want kids or babies at the wedding! I found that so shocking!!! I think pregnant bridesmaids are lovely, so glowy and would also nice to look back and be like 'that was you in my belly' 🥰

@KayL1988 no she doesn't, we've not wanted to tell anyone really it's such a private thing to us personally :-) wow that is shocking I'd never say that to anyone! Whenever I get married and one of my bridesmaids fell pregnant I'd just accommodate. I agree pregnant bridesmaids do look lovely 😍 roll on September for me then hopefully can conceive before Xmas but if not then the plus side is Xmas cheese 🤣🤣

@KayL1988 that’s not too bad! Still, feeling nauseous isn’t great either. I’m hoping I’ll be lucky and not have too many symptoms 🤞

Perhaps say something to work when things open up properly and hopefully you’ll be further along by then? I’m self employed so I can kind of get away with having a nap during the day haha.

Sorry for the long absence! I've been a bit behind on the thread but I think I'm all caught up now. I'm currently 2dpo so let the symptom-spotting begin!

Loving the sneaky drink suggestion @hrp1990! I recently discovered Fever Tree Aromatic Tonic as a good alcohol-free option - too niche to be helpful in a pub situation but good for drinks at home cos it looks like pink gin and tonic! (and I can almost believe that's what I'm drinking..!)

Think I’m out for this cycle. Couldn’t help myself and did a test this morning, got a BFN on10DPO. My temp has been dropping over the past 5 days as well, AF due on Friday. Feeling pretty discouraged. We’re going abroad to visit my family on Saturday and we will be there during my predicted FW so doesn’t seem like we’ll be able to DTD next cycle.

Sorry you got a BFN @whatwonder however some people don't even implant until 10dpo. Any further signs of AF? I really hope you're not out.

I'm similar to you in that this upcoming cycle is a tricky one for us due to other commitments.

How is everyone doing today? Anyone else's hayfever flared up? My eyeballs are on fire this morning.

@Sparklingwine1that's a good point, but my temp has consistently dropped over the past week and that's a pretty clear sign of AF arriving, no? I also cried watching the women's team gymnastics finals yesterday (just felt so bad for Simone Biles) whilst eating half a tray of cold rhubarb crumble, so pretty indicative of impending AF if you ask me

What are you gonna do for next cycle? Still try to DTD during FW or give it a miss until next cycle?

Oh and have you agree with you on the hayfever front!

My OH doesn't see the point in stopping for a month but I would love to be able to be a bridesmaid if I can so I am calling the shots haha! How are you doing on this new cycle? I'm not too bad today with hay fever but not been outside yet :)

Temp drop for me today so AF today or tomorrow. Just feeling really fed up and just want to know now if there's a problem.

Fingers crossed we're escaping the country next week so just gonna chill on the beach and try not think about it all.

I think I'll go see gp first as has been 6months now and that's the earliest for over 35. Probably make an appointment when we get back. Don't know how far down the road of invasive procedures I want to go really tho - seen friends go through it all and not sure it's for us. I think that's what's making me more frustrated that we haven't got anywhere on our own.

@HRP1990 I’ve done exactly the same and read too many threads about people having sad discoveries of empty sacs etc at their first scan, and now aim absolutely terrified!! I’ve got mine on Friday and am absolutely convinced I’m going to get bad news. I can’t get it out my head. Sorry to hear you’ve been worrying too! Hope your scan goes really well and puts your mind at ease!

@Eli707 I’m really sorry to hear that and that you’re feeling down. I completely empathise, its so hard. Hopefully you’ll get pregnant while you’re waiting for tests, or are able to try something non-invasive that will help. I know of people who have got pregnant after starting medication such as Clomid or after the HyCosy test, which can apparently increase fertility. There’s definitely still time to get pregnant naturally. Hope you’re feeling ok xx
