Well today has been gutting - right on cue my 6 day pre af spotting (which is apparently now my norm post mc) started so all my hopes about potentially being pg are screwed. I'm so fed up of spotting for 6 days then af for 5 days every month it's just not fair. I'm going to call gp on Monday. Oh and to top it off the friend who got pregnant first month of trying dtd once and who started ttc when we did and made comments about being on mat leave gave birth today so that's great - she managed to have a baby in the 9 months I've failed, had a mc and failed 4 more months of ttc. I'm so fed up and miserable and just feel like she's won and I've lost and that's ridiculous because it's not a competition but it feels like it sometimes. Sorry for ranting ladies just feeling rubbish today 😭

treesall · 02/07/2021 21:38

I'm sorry you aren't feeling positive @kiwi17.

I am in the same boat today. I have done about a million tests today (I know, I know, I think I've gone totally insane) and they are all of course negative, so I'm out for this month. Totally gutted, though not surprised. Since starting recurrent miscarriage treatment the pressure to conceive feels very very high, mainly because of the cost and panic about the drugs I'm taking. Urgh!!!

Oh kiwi17, what a s^*t day! I am sorry everything has happened today. Don’t feel bad about how you feel. I think you’d need to stone-cold emotionally not to feel a whole host of negativity emotions. Sending big hugs.

*babyghirl’ hopefully if they have spotted a clotting disorder it’s something that can be easily managed. I know it’s not something anyone wants, but getting answers as to why you’ve struggled so much on this journey could be the breakthrough you need.

Sorry your tests are negative treesall.

Welcome H0peing. Your Chinese medicine sounds really interesting. 🤞 it’s what you need.

kiwi17 · 02/07/2021 22:27

Thanks ladies. I just can't stop crying everytime I think about it and it's just bringing back all my feelings about the mc. I just don't understand how it is so easy for some people and so hard for all of us it's not fair. @Treesall I'm sorry you're in the same position it's just the worst feeling 😢 I'm just glad I have this little community because I know you all understand how I'm feeling ♥️

H0peing · 02/07/2021 23:22

@Babyghirl thanks yes, I heard that too so I started taking folate a few months ago. I heard that it can take 90 days for the supplements you take to impact sperm and eggs. I'm honestly not sure how true that is though.

@kiwi17 so sorry to hear about what you're going through right now! I also had several days of spotting since having a miscarriage, which I'd never had before. I really hope that your GP can help. From other people's stories on forums it seems common after miscarrying but there are lots of people who go on to have beautiful rainbow babies afterwards. I know two of them personally. Yes, it's great to be able to be completely honest about how your feeling and let it all out with no judgement! Xx

@treesall I hope things improve for you soon! I had to let the lady who is providing my Chinese herbs know today that July is probably the last month that we can afford to buy the herbs! Really hoping that we all get our good news soon!

@Miscarriage39 Thanks! I hope so! Xx

Babyghirl · 03/07/2021 06:31

@kiwi17
Awwww so sorry it has started again gs really was hoping it was ur month get on the phone to the doc cause it really sounds like ur progesterone is low with the few days of spotting 💚
@HOpeing
I hope I get the results soon will have an app through soon for an internal ultrasound to, yea the Chinese herbs r dear aren't they, yea can take 3 months for something to help egg and sperm I was taking conceive plus tablets and said on pack to take 90 days before ttc 💚

ELM7 · 03/07/2021 08:36

@kiwi17 sorry the spotting has started TTc after a MC is cruel like we haven’t been through enough.

So 3 days late but AF made her presence known at 5am this morning and she is going to be an absolute bitch this month. Cramps are awful feel like crap and ready to just go back to bed with a hot water bottle and feel sorry for myself.

Hope you all have good weekends. x

Babyghirl · 03/07/2021 09:42

@ELM7
Awww sorry the bitch came planty of chocolate and a wee wine tonight, hate cramps there awful 💚

treesall · 03/07/2021 09:58

I am baffled as I have a real squinter this morning. I had to test as I stop my medication if I don't have a positive test on this day of the cycle but I was 100% convinced I was out this month. It's such a faint line, it's barely even a line. This is how my first chemical happened so even if this is a positive I suspect it isn't a real one. Argh!!

PeanuttyButter · 03/07/2021 10:00

@kiwi17 I know it's awful in real life when someone announces their pregnancy. All this with Stacey Solomon too, I'm thrilled for her but we would have been due at about the same time and I had a feeling she was pregnant before she announced as I felt like she did at that time! Also a colleague told me her friend was expecting and that upset me too.

As for pre AF spotting.. I've been spotting soft about 5 days myself which I've never had before. AF is here now as of this morning. Awful cramps but least she's here and I can move on.
Not as upset as I thought I would be, suppose that's a positive sign.

Annny27 · 03/07/2021 10:00

What dpo are you and do you have a pic? @treesall

@elm7 sorry AF arrived :( xxx

MeganChar1 · 03/07/2021 10:00

Hi I’m 6dpo, I’m new to tracking and had some pink spotting yesterday along with mild cramping, bloating and urinating frequently. Following my mmc in Jan I’m having some tests for hormonal problems due to my thyroid disease (under control now) but tests have also shown borderline low progesterone and high prolactin so these are getting re-tested next cycle (providing I’m not pg), I know these problems can impact luteal phase. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I’m really trying not to get hopes up

treesall · 03/07/2021 10:17

@ELM7 I'm sorry AF arrived :-(

@MeganChar1 I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

@Annny27 I'm not sure they really show up on a photo. They're probably in my head!!

@treesall I can see them on the frers! Looks like the start of the bfp to me :D

@meganchar1 hopefully the pink spotting is implantation!

Babyghirl · 03/07/2021 10:58

@treesall
I can c a faint line on the first set of tests my fingers crossed that it gets darker for u 🤞🙏🍀💚
@MeganChar1
I have no experience myself hopefully someone who has will be a long to help u out, my fingers r crossed that they r pregnancy symptoms your getting 🤞🙏🍀💚

Babyghirl · 03/07/2021 10:59

Well the bitch is on its way just went to the toilet and there pink spotting mine norm comes in full prop tonight or tomorrow morning 💚

kiwi17 · 03/07/2021 11:03

It is frustrating isn't it @PeanuttyButter ? And the spotting is driving me mad because you spend 5/6 googling implantation bleeding and hoping and then get a second wave of disappointment when af kicks in properly... Plus it's annoying being on edge and not knowing whether you need to use a pad or tampon or not 😟

kiwi17 · 03/07/2021 11:22

Oh no @Babyghirl I'm sorry she got you 😟

Babyghirl · 03/07/2021 11:30

@kiwi17
I'm OK pretty chilled think I have it in my head I want my results before I fall again incase I do need help 💚

PeanuttyButter · 03/07/2021 12:30

@kiwi17 yes exactly. At one point I convinced myself I could be pregnant as I was getting lower backache and the ONLY time I've had that was a week before my BFP. I even commented to my DH that I was worried I'd pulled my back the first time round as i usually have a really strong back.

kiwi17 · 03/07/2021 13:49

@Babyghirl glad you've got a plan and good to get your results first I suppose! @PeanuttyButter 100% with you on that one! I had random hot flushes before my bfp in January so the moment I have a hot flush I start thinking oh I must be pregnant again and then it's just wind burn 🤣 nightmare. My first pregnancy 3 years ago I can't really remember my symptoms so that helps!

H0peing · 03/07/2021 19:58

@treesall I can see a faint line too!!!Smile

@meganChar1 hoping that's a good sign for you! X

I had spotting for several days before my period following miscarriage and then heard that Maca Powder can help to improve your cycles. I started taking 1 tablespoon per day of Maca Powder with my breakfast in April and within two months my spotting had reduced down to one day before my period. This was before I started taking Chinese herbs in June so I think it was the Maca that helped reduce the spotting, although I guess it could reduce naturally over time.

Babyghirl · 03/07/2021 21:57

Well period well started nw will be in pain tomara 😭😭😭😭 and I have work lol can't wait for a day off on Monday a day of not rushing about and do things in my own time lol 💚
