Also I'm just going to apologise for being so shit recently, I just have been in a bit of a black hole/recluse so I haven't been able to keep up with the thread ☹️

@Herewegoagain2021 I really hope the progesterone helps, I hope it is a sticky bean for you x

@apwilso mind tend to look like that until I get my clear positive (this month it was CD22) so definitely keep testing x

@Conundrum12345 I haven't but I'm so sorry you've had to go through it x

Babyghirl · 04/07/2021 21:00

@apwilso
Keep an eye on it I ovulate on cd11/12 so could be your ovulating early 💚

H0peing · 04/07/2021 21:26

@SemiFeralDalek welcome to the group. I hope that we can all help you through this traumatic time and also cheer with you in the future when your rainbow baby arrives. I've had 3 miscarriages over the past year (all at 8 weeks or under). I think that loss of life at any stage of pregnancy is horrendous. What you have been through does seem to be an extremely severe amount of pain since November last year! My heart goes out to you! I'm hoping that you will be able to get some advice from a gynaecologist in the near future. Xx

@Babyghirl a hot water bottle and a film sounds lovely! I think it's so difficult to know which painkillers to take whilst TTC. I was taking ibuprofen but then I read in the leaflet inside the box that it can interfere with fertility and then I was prescribed codeine but read something similar afterwards about 'tell your doctor before starting this medicine if you are trying to get pregnant' but it had been prescribed for me by a doctor who knew my situation! I guess it's probably fine to take it at the start of your period. We have to do something if we are in unbearable pain! I used to have extremely heavy bleeding and pain during AF until I found out that I had a small uterine fibroid and tried to adapt my diet slightly towards a fibroid diet but I still need maximum dose paracetamol.
I really hope that you feel better soon an hopefully this will be the last period for both of us!SmileXx

@treesall who did you see and roughly how much did it cost? I might consider a private consultation in the future. Did they explain what all of those things do? It seems like they've prescribed a lot to support you through this pregnancy, which I imagine is reassuring. It's such an exciting time for you!Smile Do you know yet how regularly you can have scans? X

@Herewegoagain2021 sorry for your losses but congratulations on your pregnancy! I really hope that you can get some progesterone soon. I've been told that sometimes you have to practically beg for it but I've heard that it can be really helpful. I've also heard that prenatal vitamins and Omega oils can be helpful too, although I know that the cost of them all can start to add up each month.

@apwilso I'm really bad at trying to work out my peak days with those sticks so I am currently using clear blue tests so that I can see a clear flashing or still smiley face face to know when to DTD. Very expensive though! Wishing you all the best for this cycle! X

@Conundrum12345 so sorry for your loss! I really hope that your appointment with the consultant goes well next week. I imagine that you will have a long list of questions to take with you. Hoping that it's safe for you to try again soon. Xx

Sorry you’ve been feeling so low cupcakesandglitter.

I’m 9dpo today and feeling quite icky. I woke up feeling nauseous and generally feel a bit yuck. I also had a pinky tinge when I wiped earlier (sorry for TMI). Deep down I really doubt it’s anything to get excited about, but a tiny part of me can’t help but wonder ‘what if’.

Babyghirl · 05/07/2021 11:30

Sorry af arrived @babyghirl! Are you enjoying your day off?

I am 7dpo and just got my progesterone checked this morning- usually it's a week untill the results isnt it?

Welcome to all the newbies and so touching reading all of your stories! We really have all been through alot!

@kiwi17 ahh af got you too :( but good news about reductions in spotting days. Today is 7dpo and has tinged cm - wouldnt say it was spotting but its definitely beige cm so reckon thats the start of my spotting! If so it's very early for me! Usually happens at 10dpo the earliest

@Annny27
I have a black eye lol was doing my cleaning and my eye felt swollen and when I looked in mirror its black lol but enjoying my day off doing nothing lol 💚

treesall · 05/07/2021 16:31

@cupcakesandglitter I'm on progesterone, hydroxy and aspirin, plus intralipids infusions. It's quite hard for me to accept all that given usually I'm pretty "natural" about stuff and don't really take anything unless I'm absolutely desperate!

I'm sorry you've been feeling down. Sending you lots of positive vibes. This stuff is so hard.

@H0peing I'm seeing the CRP clinic, Dr Shehata. Cost wise I'm not sure yet how much it's all going to come to. We've spent about £2200 on tests, £200 on medication (3 month supply) and £700 on intralipids infusions. Scans etc at the clinic plus further infusions plus further medication is all going to keep adding up. It is adding a lot of pressure for this pregnancy to work, because we can't keep up this level of expense! Argh!!

Annny27 · 05/07/2021 16:51

Congratulations @treesall just saw your update 💕💕💕💕 was the progesterone because you had low progesterone results or just a precaution? I know what you mean I like to live as naturally as possible but for a baby, I would take anything haha!

@babyghirl ouch lovely!! Did you bash it when cleaning?

P.s a little birdie tells me that @fizzl might have some news to share 🙈

@Annny27
Never bumped it at all I would of felt it if it was a knock to leave a bruise well I would think anyway lol 💚
@fizzl
Have you got news for us ladies 👶

treesall · 05/07/2021 17:34

@Annny27 no, I think he just prescribes progesterone to everyone as a precaution. My only issue was overactive nk cells and the hydroxy is what treats that x

Fizzl · 05/07/2021 20:39

@Babyghirl @Annny27 I do indeed! Baby Elodie born early hours of this morning 🥰 we're all doing well!

Hope everyone else is doing ok - sending you all lots of positive vibes 💐

Babyghirl · 05/07/2021 20:52

@fizzl
Omg congratulations enjoy every minute of it and I'm sure she is gorgeous 👶💚 and did you have a long labour 💚

ELM7 · 05/07/2021 20:58

Congratulations @Fizzl. Elodie is a beautiful name xx

H0peing · 05/07/2021 21:26

@Annny27 thank you so much for starting this thread! I am finding it extremely helpful on this journey! This is probably a silly question but how did they test your progesterone and was it through the NHS or private? I really want mine tested so I'm planning to find out about more progesterone this week.

H0peing · 05/07/2021 21:27

@treesall thanks for all of the info! It's so expensive! Yes, it's surprising what you would take for a baby. I think I would take anything too! Just wish it didn't all cost so much! It all seems to be working for you though!SmileX

Babyghirl · 05/07/2021 21:32

@HOpeing your doc can run this test they say day 21 of your cycle but it has to be 7dpo day 21 only goes for people that ovulate on cd14, so if you ovulate on Cd10 you would get the test on cd17 💚

H0peing · 05/07/2021 21:32

@cupcakesandglitter I keep hearing lots of good stories about progesterone! Xx

H0peing · 05/07/2021 21:34

@Miscarriage39 definitely seems like a good sign to me too!Smilexx
