@kiwi17 had my second vaccine 2 weeks ago today. Ov day after vaccine so currently 13dpo and CD28 but normal cycle length is about 26/27 days.

First vaccine didn’t effect my cycle at all but know it has caused delays for some people - hoping it’s not going to mess up my cycle now.

kiwi17 · 01/07/2021 09:58

@ELM7 oh yeah I see! Oh fingers crossed for you then- just another hurdle to throw into the game isn't it?! I hadn't even thought about that!!

Babyghirl · 01/07/2021 10:22

@ELM7
If you ovulated then your period should still come on time I heard the vaccine delayed ovulation so that's where the period comes late fingers crossed its leading to a bfp for u girl 💚
@kiwi17
I do know them lh strips r nt reliable with fmu so may that the case either way 🙏🤞🍀

treesall · 01/07/2021 13:10

@kiwi17 I wish I was as patient as you! I'm also 8dpo and tested again today, even though I knew it'd be negative. I don't know whyyyy I do it to myself! Pretty sure this month won't be successful anyway though. Fingers crossed for you x

Babyghirl · 01/07/2021 14:05

Well update more bloods requested lol so done and dusted another 4 tubes, so nw I'm wondering if there was a blood clotting disorder found in my last set and they want to c if these ones have it to I do knw they need to positives before they diagnose you 💚

kiwi17 · 01/07/2021 14:31

That sounds serious @Babyghirl would that be treatable? @treesall 😂😂 I know what you mean... we get so in our heads that the only way to stop the am I aren't I is to test even when it's bfn! What's also stopping me is I only have 2 pg tests in the house so don't want to waste them 😆

Babyghirl · 01/07/2021 14:34

@kiwi17
Yea just means if I do I will need to inject myself everyday when pregnant again and taking aspirin along with it 💚

PeanuttyButter · 01/07/2021 15:24

Fingers crossed those waiting for BFPs, I've started spotting this morning so I think AF is about to come, had cramps for a few days too. I usually come on during the night and wake to full flow so I think that's my weekend. Bittersweet I suppose but at least I can move on.

treesall · 01/07/2021 15:31

@Babyghirl on the positive side I understand blood clotting disorders are a "good" diagnosis for miscarriage because it's easily treated. I hope you understand what I mean by that - obviously it's not good at all that you've had to go through the awful miscarriages but should mean they know how to prevent them in future? I hope you get some answers.

@kiwi17 that's where I'm going wrong - I've got most of a box of cheapy tests and 3 frers burning a hole in the bathroom cupboard!

Babyghirl · 01/07/2021 16:31

@PeanuttyButter
The first period is always bittersweet after a loss but just know its a clean out u need for nxt bean to stick well look after urself and its OK to cry if u need to 💚
@treesall
Hopefully I get results soon, that all I can think of why they would want them again first one coming bck positive so for them to say u have it I think u need 2 positive results 💚 and I truly knw what u mean abit it being a good thing cause it can be easily sorted 💚

Annny27 · 01/07/2021 17:28

@babyghirl hopefully they can let you know pretty soon after the blood results! Yes I think @fizzl had to inject herself daily because of a blood clotting issue

@kiwi17 @elm7 strange worh the positive opks but negative hpts!

I am around 3dpo today just waiting for my progesterone blood test on Monday now :)

lovelylittlesunflower · 01/07/2021 18:37

I still haven't worked out what OPKS stands for Shock

kiwi17 · 01/07/2021 18:41

@lovelylittlesunflower opks are ovulation predictor kits 😊 the little strips you wee on to see if you are about to ovulate or not. You can get the digital ones too.

I know right @Annny27? Very odd. Will just have to wait and see my own fault for trying to poas without wasting a pg test 😂 when's your blood test?

Babyghirl · 01/07/2021 19:03

@kiwi17
Have you done another one to c what reading that gives u 💚

kiwi17 · 01/07/2021 19:05

Ahhhhh I use them all the time! Haha!

Fizzl · 01/07/2021 20:09

@Babyghirl @Annny27 is right I do inject blood thinners daily as well as taking aspirin. I didn't in my first pregnancy and I guess we will never know for definite if that's the reason we lost that one. If you do have to inject it's fine, I used to hate needles but I'm completely desensitised to it now I think and just do it without really thinking about it.

Hopefully you get some answers soon and like others have said, if it is a clotting disorder it's easily treated once you know what you're dealing with

Babyghirl · 01/07/2021 20:18

@fizzl
Thank you well has r Virtual niece or nephew arrived yet 💚 did u get the bloods taken then more am I right in thinking you need two positive results to be diagnosed with a blood clotting problem 💚

Fizzl · 01/07/2021 21:39

@Babyghirl no I'm still pregnant. She's got until Monday so the clock is ticking for her to vacate on her own!

Mine is a little different as I was diagnosed many years ago as what I've got is hereditary and passed down from my dad. So I already knew about it but the consultant did run bloods again when we lost our first pregnancy which reconfirmed the diagnosis and I only had those taken once. But again that might have been because I already have a diagnosis so not new if that makes sense. I know there is another clotting disorder though where they need to repeat them so many weeks apart (can't remember what it's called! But think it's known as sticky blood syndrome or something like that)

H0peing · 01/07/2021 21:51

Hope you don't mind me joining. I am just about to start ttc baby number 2 again after 3 miscarriages. I'm on my period at the moment. Hoping that we can all be successful soon! I would love to hear any tips about anything that's helping you or has helped friends whilst ttc, if you don't mind, but no problem if not. X

Babyghirl · 01/07/2021 21:52

@fizzl
That right your having a little girl 😍😍😍😍 this is the tube I got the blood in 💚

H0peing · 01/07/2021 22:34

Thanks for the warm welcome!Smile I was offered lots of tests through the NHS but they all came back fine apart from a small uterine fibroid, which they said shouldn't affect my fertility. I also have an appointment due with a gynaecologist in August but I dont want to wait until then. I decided to try acupuncture but the Acupuncturist told me that I don't need acupuncture, I need Chinese herbs because I suffer from what Chinese Medicine calls 'damp (excess water in the uterus) and that I am cold imside and she needs to warm up my body to help my fertility. I tried some warming herbs earlier this month and by using my BBT I could see that they did seem to be warming me up! . She said that I am now much better but I need to continue taking them whilst TTC in my next cycle so it's a bit scary because I don't know anyone else who's used Chinese Medicine whilst / before TTC but I think it's worth a try for one cycle of trying. I can't really afford to do more than one cycle of herbs though so I'll probably have to try something else if they don't work this time. I also take prenatal supplements and Omega oils about an hour before your herbs.
