Wow that last one was a quick one! The bus driver nearly missed the bus!🏎🚌

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

Okay so great start this, got a phone call from the doctors regarding my swabs, they gave me an eye swab and not vaginal, so I have to go back today and pick up the right one and re do it, bloody joke😂

@Vil10 told you. Useless! 😆 It'll likely never get better..... 🤦‍♀️

@paintfairy I think that sounds all good tbh (don't know about the sperm days but it's different to last time) but for our ivf they say the lining grows 1mm per day & they book us in for transfer at 7mm & it's usually just under a week later but you can't transfer with lining less) so I think that sounds perfect?

@Vil10 glad you feel better now, and it's also good least you got AF but yah I guess it's like mine where I had no idea what to expect timing wise 🤷🏼‍♀️oh good just read your update 🤣😫

I'm struggling to keep up as I've had extreme throbbing headaches this last week. Been trying to lay down and rest as much as I can and cut down on phone screen time incase it makes things worse.

Hi @2020mission, no I was on the last bus (maybe two?) but when the engine gets started I appear on the passenger list as 84 instead of 24
I haven’t posted a huge amount as there’s a whole lot of waiting around with the ivf and I can’t have my phone in work so I miss lots of updates too!

I hope your headaches ease off, they sound awful

@paintfairy guess I'll never know for sure. Good luck for the trigger! 36 sounds better. That's when eggs are collected for ivf after the trigger.

@Clairey844 thank you. Yeah, I know deep down everyone means well. Eek about the floor! We have the almond wood floor cleaner and it smells amazing. I can only imagine the smell of white vinegar and bicarb 😣

@becarefuloutthere glad you're doing okay! I know the nausea isn't fun although I have no nausea now (not sure if that's good or bad anymore). It's my first midwife appointment today so I'm hoping to find out what happens long term in the pregnancy.

So midwife appointment in an hour. They're letting me take my OH in with me as I'm finding things so difficult at the minute. It feels really weird going when everything feels so up in the air atm. Had quite an upset night last night as we was talking about it all and he still doesn't see our loss as a baby like I do. I think because we're getting closer to announcing (obv if all goes well this week) I'm just struggling still with my lost baby being forgotten again and getting really anxious about it. I'm not sure how I feel about writing something out about my loss publicly as I'm not after sympathy but I just want my lost baby to be recognised so we looked at other ways and I've ordered a macrame rainbow and a white swan feather. Oh and got the kid off school today too after him being sent home from school at 10am yesterday with a bad headache. Let him go to his karate session last night as he was loads better and the clumsy oaf had a fight with the carpet there and he somehow smashed his big toe badly which I'm hoping isn't broken as he can bend it and move it, just lots of bruising coming out today and blood at the bottom of the nail bed and as he can't bear a shoe or trainer on it so school won't let him go in 🤦🏽‍♀️

@Minster2012 must be nearer 15mm then by the time they transfer? I suppose they look for extra though and can force it. Not much they can do with this but over 7 seems the number, so as long as its that? I guess it's ok!

@Crazydoglady123 men don't I guess. Some people won't either. Everything is different when it's happening to you though. Only you can understand how you feel. It's really hard. I'm so glad they are letting him come for the scan though.

@Crazydoglady123 hope the appointment is helpful. As for OH, I know it's upsetting he doesn't see things the same but keep in mind it is harder for men. We get pregnant, feel the changes, connect with baby early. For them it is a bit more hypothetical. They maybe see a postive test and get the info second hand. It doesn't mean they aren't invested or don't care but it's just not as real for them. Glad he can come in with you for support x

@Manifestingbaby @paintfairy I know and I keep saying as he didn't come to the scan where I heard their heartbeats and the scan when I found out I'd lost one he didn't see how much they were babies now, not just the blobs we'd previously seen.
The antenatal appointment was okay though. The midwife was really understanding and lovely and even had all my notes from my DS pregnancy. Some of the midwives I had with him are still there too. At the minute my pregnancy is counted as high risk but depending on my scan and group b strep result I could get moved to low risk 🤞

@crazydoglady123 just out of interest are their routinely testing you for group b strep? I found out I'm a carrier and I've got to have IV antibiotics during labour apparently....

@Kirky658 I had it when I had my son and had to have the same, IV antibiotics in labour and then in for 48hours for obs. All was fine though so try not to worry too much

Dungeon update: I have nausea and lower back pain too now, I resorted to put a very thin pad on, one of those not for periods I got tired of checking for af so many times, I'll test one of these years, app predicts af Thursday

@paintfairy yeah I think the optimum lining for transfer is 13-15mm but there is leeway

@Franklydear I don’t know if I’ve got a super embarrassing story for my ticket! One thing that sticks in my mind is the time the postman opened my front door to drop a parcel inside and I was stood at the bottom of the stairs stark naked. Which would have been embarrassing but fine if he wasn’t also our next door neighbour. Listening to him mumble apologies on the driveway the next day was brutal 😅

@Crazydoglady123 I’m so sorry to read your news. My friend who lost a twin is very open about him and always includes him in her memories around the time he was lost and the birth of the surviving twin. I hope you’re doing as ok as you can be while waiting for Friday.
