@crazycatlady1981 I'm really gassy and really hungry but think progesterone increases your hunger levels too actually can't wait to get away this weekend to escape it all wish I could lash a few bottles of vino in me I'd pass the time alright then 😂 I'm much the same had those funny shoots Monday and woke me out of my sleep the the cough thing I'm holding in a 3/4 hr pee here so I can sleep soundly tonight knowing the result 😂😂😂 absolute psych 😂😂😂 Don't even care makes me feel better x

@crazycatlady1981 actually my third - had one fresh embryo transferred in Sep 20 and two frozen transferred in Feb 21. Got BFPs both times, but bad news at 8 week confirmation scans. I did pay for a private scan last time at 6+5 and there was one heartbeat, but was measuring 4-5 days behind so probably already starting to fail at the point.

@crazycatlady1981 I'm with you on the panicking about lifting anything too heavy. I had to carry 3 bags into work (handbag, laptop bag and lunchbag) and worrying it was too much 🤣

I'm literally going insane. Sunday and Monday I had a few funny turns feeling dizzy and sick. Mostly fine yesterday and feel normal today. The odd cramp and pulling sensation. Keep thinking it hasn't worked though. 8dp5dt today but I hate testing. I would probably just never test and hope a baby pops out tbh 😂

Hey everyone! I'm back after a few months in the POAS/vitamins/timed sex wilderness. I think I was on a few threads where posters were getting pregnant and I started getting sad so I stepped away for a while.

But I'm back, and still not pregnant! we have our next infertility clinic phonecall where they will announce that we are at the top of the waiting list to get on the IVF waiting list. I am shitting it, I think I thought of IVF as a distant option and that maybe my body would kick in before now and get pregnant without intervention. Does anyone follow any good blogs etc about IVF that I could read so I can ease some of this anxiety? Or if not, a meme would do so I could get a laugh :)

Hi @Tofu35 good news about your ivf I was the same never thought I would actually have to do it. Honestly the whole process wasn't as bad as I thought its more the waiting for the results each time I found just not asking questions too far in advance helped and just dealing with the appointments you had when you had to just take each step as it comes and deal with what you have to at the time is the best advice I can give and stay off Google this group has been a god send for me x

Thanks @sjhigs, I think I'm seeing it as one massive thing rather than being able to break it down in terms of appointments and stages. That makes a lot of sense. I cannot promise not to Google, because how else will I know the weird food tips that will definitely work/won't work/could work but only if you're upside down and it's a full moon??

@Tofu35 😂😂😂 of onky I practiced what uli preached and stayed off Google its the devil. Honestly I would spend your time now enjoying yourself I didn't do a fertility diet I eat a pretty balanced diet any and pretty active with walking etc I still ate my take aways and restaurants (still do) the only thing I miss right now is wine 🤦‍♀️ but look I've made it by transfer and I'm currently in the 2ww I just do what I normally did cut the drinking back a little I refused to let it take over my life and definitely just cross every bridge when you come to it xx

@Tofu35 welcome back from the wilderness! 😊 I was completely the same about ivf. This time last year I was utterly convinced it would happen naturally and I didn’t even contemplate ivf until around autumn when I hit 39 and realised if I don’t do something soon, it will be too late!! As @Sjhigs says, it’s really nowhere as bad as you think it it’s gona be! The worst bit was waiting for it all to get started!

@Tofu35 the thought of all the injections was much worse than the reality for me, even doing them all myself I barely felt most of them! I’ve gained a bit of weight but I’ll worry about that another day…

@Sunbird24 I've gained 9lbs 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

@Sjhigs sadly I’ve gained 20lbs. 🤦‍♀️ It’s a combination of lockdown eating, the gym being closed and all the hormonal upheaval.

@kerrym87 I can't even remember what it was on but I know I've been checked for just about everything in the last month so it being to do with the endo would make more sense, I've mad a docs appointment for Monday anyway so I'll see what she says.
