Yeah I get that @HRP1990 and I did feel that way to a certain extent, until it got to the council housing situation and then for me it all just reads like the whole plan is just to get a council house and having to TTC is just a side effect of getting that? Maybe I’m being the asshole here 😂

I get that @80sPadme we’re in a very similar situation to you as my OH works away as well, so he isn’t here all of the time, but I think that’s what got me about it, I feel like it kind of makes a mockery of that as neither of us are choosing to be in that situation, it just is what it is and he goes where the work is or we don’t have a house at all……ya know?

I am only 4 dpo but somehow seem to have full on pms already. Cramps, bloating, awful skin and oh my gosh the carb cravings 😂 think the 🧙‍♀️ is just trolling me at this point!

I have just read that thread too @Peachycream it is really odd! At first it sounds just like ttc issues but then the whole housing thing was like woah...not sure what to make of it!

I noticed that too @GingerTea333 I found my PMS started waaaaaassay earlier than I would have expected it to, but I’m not sure if that’s just down to paying more attention to it? I also noticed my boobs got sore around ovulation, which I had never noticed before.

@Aries491 I’ve been sitting here for the last 2 days thinking about bringing it up in here, like I’ve wrote out messages and then deleted them like mmmmm maybe not, but I’m glad I did now 😂

So glad you did too! I don't wish bad on anyone and I feel for anyone TTC! But as a thirty something lady it just felt like a weird thread. People TTC are usually the most sensitive to others feelings but the whole thread just felt completely insensitive.

I think that’s what initially got my back up about it, I instantly thought of all the poor women on here who have genuinely tried everything and struggle to get fertility support and yet seemingly the poster is getting all of the tests in a situation that isn’t really conducive to TTC.

You’re right about the weird vibe, it just made it uncomfortable as the replies came in, even though I started out thinking genuine advice was needed haha

I think, like a lot of people, I was really sympathetic and then as more posts came in I was 😲.

Sadly it seems like every so often there are inflammatory or tone deaf posts, 9/10 by trolls. Normally they're quite obvious and people call them out quite quickly but that one just seem to hit a nerve!

On a happier note, I've nearly finished the "Impatient Woman's guide to getting pregnant" does anyone else have any recommendations?

Who has the kinda time on their hands to troll in the first place, but even more so in a forum like this that is such a sensitive subject anyway? Particularly so for those on here that have been through really traumatic events while TTC.

I’ve seen this book pop up a lot in here over the last few days? Is it worth a read? You all seem to say good things about it.

@KayL1988 My husband and I both stopped drinking alcohol a few months ago when we started ttc - it might've been overkill at the time but now I'm really glad we did it! Now when we meet up with other people and neither of us drinks we can be like 'oh yeah we haven't drunk since january' and it's pretty obvious that it's not because I'm preggers! So in future I can be sure that not drinking won't be a giveaway.

I've drunk a LOT of appletiser instead. 😂

Damn @taytay2020 that's such a good idea!!! My other half doesn't drink a lot so it's usually me that has a few drinks and he drives, very rare he wants to drink more than a pint! Problem is as soon as a reject a drink... its 'is your OH not driving?'... then 🤨 this face whilst they figure out why I'd refuse a drink!

I am a proud reality tv addict and I don’t care, let your reality flag fly, it’s liberating 😂 I love it so much that I save up all the episodes until the season is finished and spend a day watching it like some reality TV squirrel 🐿

Sorry about that @80sPadme ... but it's still very early days! Give it another few days! Somewhere said you should never test in single digits as the odds of getting a positive are so much lower before you get into double digits! Hopefully it's burrowing away!

I have a bit of rubbish news 😳😤 I felt a bit 'off' down below and did one of those at home canesten tests and I have friggin thrush!! I've not had thrush since I was about 20 years old!

I have no idea what's brought it on. It might have been the increase in DTD or the fact I've been using a hot tub 🤭 I'm going to go to the pharmacy tomorrow but I don't know what to say ... 'I may or may not be pregnant but won't know until the weekend so can I still use this cream?' 😂

I just want it to clear up before the next fertile window as I'm not sure DH will want to touch me if I'm fungus riddled 🍄 🚫

Sorry to hear that @80sPadme there's nothing worse than seeing than BFN ☹️ I think half the reason why I'm putting off testing is because if it's a BFN I'd rather not know!
As others have said though, you are still in the game. On my first month TTC I was in a different group and a lady on there had BFNs right up until 14 DPO
