@Peachycream I 100% get where you are coming from. I had all those thoughts and feelings too, and worse. It's awful when I think back. I genuinely thought my best option was to just stay and put up with it all. I'd been with my ex-h since I was 20 and the idea of starting over made me physically sick.

The turning point for me came when I confided to my best friend that I felt I could die and he wouldn't notice, and that seemed a better option than leaving.

Please please please don't bottle up. I wish I'd vented on a forum or spoke to someone sooner. I made myself very poorly by bottling my thoughts up. I'm more than happy to sit and listen, I'm sure we all are.

@SareBear87 thing is I’m at the point where I’m questioning myself, are my feelings really valid or am I just being overly sensitive and reading into things that just aren’t there? Or am I right and I’m not just making it all up in my own head?

@Peachycream don't ever let anybody make you feel you are not good enough. None of us have ever met u before but even we can see how smart and funny you are (seriously you have so many TTC facts that I genuinely thought your brain was like an encyclopaedia!). As for looks obviously we don't know what u look like but beauty is so subjective. I'm sure loads of men wouldn't find me attractive but my DH does so that's all that matters. If your partner can't see these qualities in you then don't be scared to find someone who will because there are millions of people out there and you deserve the best x

I can totally relate @SareBear87 I was in a similar position a couple of years ago! It’s so easy to stay with what you know, but when you’re out of that relationship and looking back you wish you had done it sooner. It’s not until you’re actually, finally happy, than you realise how unhappy you really were!

I'm CD 10 too 😄

My FW started yesterday. I felt a bit unwell yesterday (I'm either getting a cold or my hay fever is out with a vengeance) but didn't want to miss the first day in the FW!

I said to DH I was going to skip DTD in favour of a hot chocolate and early night but then the thought of missing the first day in the FW made me panic so I sucked it up and made the moves to get the goods 😂

I still feel rubbish though so think I will give tonight a miss.

O day for me is predicted to be Friday 9th. I hope I feel better by then!

I’m 7DPO today and had a little temp drop this morning. I’m not too sure what to make of my BBT chart at the moment. It’s my first so I have nothing to compare to!

How is yours looking @SkeletonSkins? I need a graph update 😂

@HRP1990 your chart looks good to me, still nice and high above the cover line. Here’s mine, a drop again this morning so really hoping my body is gearing up to have another go in the next day or so. Should really try and DTD again today I guess haha.

What is your longest and shortest cycle? 28 days seems like an okay length stint so far? Your partner must be loving all the DTD he gets! 😂

I've just downloaded the fertility friend app so I can make similar graphs (that brings my total TTC apps up to four 😂).

Forgot to say girls I ordered some pre seed on Amazon yesterday. Not sure whether to use it this cycle or not. It may not even arrive in time for my LH rise/O day anyway.

Anybody else tried it yet?

@Peachycream I think we should definitely do a name change! Was so funny making them up!!

@HRP1990 Cycle 1 was 56 days, with O on CD 47, cycle 2 was 52 days with O on CD39 so a longer luteal phase, cycle 3 was 43 days and I think anovulatory although I possibly ovulated on CD33, and now here we are in cycle 4 on CD 28!

You can tell I’ve got Pcos from my graph, they call it the PCOS mountain ranges because it goes up and down so much 😂😂

That looks good to me @HRP1990. I’ve seen lots of pregnancy charts where it goes up and down, so think as long as you’re above cover line you’re good!

I’ve tried preseed @Sparklingwine1. I used it last cycle and didn’t get pregnant and this one and probably not pregnant, but I’ve seen loads of positive stories, and I didn’t insert it so that might improve chances! My husband hates it though!!

@HRP1990 Really hope it continues to rise but get my hopes up every month then it suddenly goes down!!
My period is due Monday (I normally have a 15 day luteal phase) but going to test Saturday. You still planning to hold off testing?

Wondered if anyone could give me any advice actually! If I test negative on a first response early test on Saturday is it fairly likely I’m not pregnant? Just as I’ve got my postponed hen do on Saturday at a spa so there will be alcohol and outdoor hot tubs, both of which obviously aren’t advisable during pregnancy! Obviously I’d prefer and be happy to skip those things if I tested positive, but don’t want to miss them on the off chance and then not even be pregnant! Do you think a sensitive test that late in my cycle would be fairly conclusive?

@HRP1990 apparently most normal lubes can kill sperm off. Pre seed (and the other equivalent fertility lubes) are supposed to mimic EWCM so the sperm a) don't get killed off and b) find it easier to swim up there.

@Sparklingwine1 He just said it’s a weird consistency and he prefers the texture of normal lube, and it’s a bit fiddly to get out the tube. He has tolerated using it but would definitely prefer not to! Guess it’s personal preference though so might be just him!!

@Mrsspoon3 ah ok that makes sense thank u. I'll give it a go and hopefully my husband doesn't mind it too much!

I think the one I bought comes with an applicator to put it quite far up so I may just do that before we DTD and DH may not even noticed I've used it 😂

With regards to your FRER question that's such a tough one. I think from about 3 days before your expected period it's '99% accurate' or so they say however I have seen other ladies on MN get a BFN a on a FRER as far as 12/13 DPO and then still get a BFP. It's really hard to know whether you are part of that 1% who show late.
Personally if it was me and I got a BFN on Saturday I'd have a few drinks I think, but id probably be more wary of the hot tub.

Mmkay, so I’m gunna leave the other stuff behind because I need to just ignore it for a while or I’m going to curl up under the covers and never get out. But thank you for your replies and kind words, I have taken it all onboard and once I’ve sorted through my thoughts I’ll dive into it all.

On another note, it looks as though I missed O as I did another OPK earlier and it’s still low so that’s not a bad thing right now, I have no feelings about it, I’m ambivalent.

Thanks for the advice on the testing! It’s the hot tub I’m more wary of too! I’m just worried as my best friend has been planning this for me for a year and a half now as it got cancelled 2 days before the original date due to a change in restrictions, so don’t want to look like I’m not entering into the spirit of things! People will ask loads of awkward questions if I don’t drink and use the hot tubs too haha. But definitely don’t want to put any potential pregnancy at risk!
