Yay checking into the new thread how exciting! Hi @80sPadme, this is such a great thread to join, I’ve really enjoyed chatting with others in the same position!!!

So I’m 29, TTC #1 and this is my first cycle, currently CD9. I have PCOS and came off the pill in January, have had three 50 days cycles since then (although each has been slightly shorter each time) but started taking Conceive plus ovulation support this cycle which has good reviews for shortening the cycle and appears to be doing something so I’m really hoping this month is shorter.

Yes @PurpleCat88 so I take Conceive plus ovulation support which is meant to help regulate cycles for irregular ladies, and then I take the fertility support which has the prenatal hormone etc in it. I’m also taking vitamin d as I’ve heard that’s good for PCOS. I lost two stone between Christmas and April to get my BMI back to healthy (cheers to lockdown for the extra pounds ha!) as weight can play a part in pcos too I think.

Oh I ordered that preseed lube but I’ve not used it yet as I’m not wasting it before there’s a chance of ovulation 😂😂😂

@CTMcG honestly look into the conceive plus ovulation support, I sound like I’m selling it 😂😂 but I started taking it and came on literally days later, had a shorter period with no period pains and I’ve seen other ladies have much shorter cycles. I’ve also had really long cycles so far and tracking my BBT has made me realise my body is trying to ovulate but failing a couple of times before it gets over the line😂 I’m hoping the boost feom the supplements helps it over the line a bit quicker 😂😂

Also incase anyone wonders about my random name, I used to be a primary school teacher before I left to retrain, and a little boy came up to me one morning and before I’d even said hello, asked me why do skeletons have skins 😂 and so I explained about protecting our body etc etc and he said ‘but are we the skeleton or are we the skins? Cause we can see the skins but they just cover the bones’ and I said well I guess we’re the brain really, and he said ‘nah we’re just a bunch of skeleton skins’ and it stuck with me for ages 😂😂 love the random stuff kids come out with.

I am 33, TTC no 1, on cycle 8 of trying properly but had a few months before that of kind of trying without really knowing when to do it. Trying to stay positive but getting tougher every month but this thread and you ladies have really helped make it fun again 😘

I'm 33 (DP is 46), TTC #1, this is our 7th month of trying, currently on CD17/3dpo, regular 28/29 day cycles, I came off the pill in Dec. I do OPKs and take folic acid and cod liver tabs (only because I'm not a huge fan of oily fish so think that's the only vitamin I'm probably lacking).

This group is honestly keeping me sane! Work is a nightmare (I'm NHS) so the humour on here provides some much needed giggles!

No one knows we are TTC so I'm glad for the forum to chat!

Nothing is TMI, well not for me! I've learnt so much since TTC that it's almost embarrassing I didn't know it before!!

💁🏼‍♀️ I'm 32, TTC our first, first full cycle trying (tried to start last month but ovulation tested too late). All the gear no idea .. clear blue fertility tracker, cheapy sticks and bbt tracking.

2DPO and typically 27/28 day cycle so starting the fun TWW! Oh and big 🧀 🍷

Oh and I pop prenatal vitamins (pregnacare) vit d drops and omega but moving over to proceive now I've nearly run out of pregnacare.

The Saga of The Mysterious Rising LH

I’ve decided to turn this into a mini series 😂

So in a new development LH has dropped again, down to next to nothing after being quite high (relatively speaking) for what I would assume it to be for this point in my cycle (12DPO for anyone keeping track still at this point 😂)

I have no idea what’s going on as it was steadily rising from 8DPO up until today, where it has now bombed.

I'm 30 and TTC #1. This is our 3rd cycle of trying and I'm currently 5DPO (27 day cycle).

I'm feeling much more chilled this month than previous months.

This was my 2nd month using OPKs. Last month I got a very clear peak, this month I did get a clear peak but it wasn't as high as last month so I'm not sure what's going on there 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah @CTMcG I’m also pretty sure that’s BBT. I have no idea what the deal is here 🤷‍♀️

Maybe I didn’t ovulate? Maybe it’s just normal fluctuation?

In all fairness, there’s literally no reason I should still be using OPKs right now, it’s just something to do at this point 😂 all I know is, I don’t know what’s going on 😂 so essentially, I know nothing.

This is our first cycle of TTC baby number 1.

I only had the Mirena coil out at the beginning of last week, but the doctor said I could start trying straight away (although it might take a little while for everything to go back to normal). According to the CB OPKs I ovulated a few days after it was removed and now I’m on day 6 of the TWW.

I’m not massively hopeful for this month. But that has stopped me bulk ordering pregnancy tests (I live abroad and can’t get FRER unless I pay a fortune to have them shipped by Amazon- which obviously I have done 😂).
I’m also very aware that implantation won’t have actually taken place yet but I’m already looking for symptom spotting (very logically I know the dog is only following me around because he thinks I have food and not because he has some 6th sense that I’m pregnant! 🐾)

Welcome @HerbivorousRex 👋🏻 Cycle 1 is so exciting! Where do you live aboard? I’d do the same, buy in bulk and technically you’re saving by only paying 1 delivery charge 😂

I think implantation can occur from 6DPO so I’d be symptom spotting like mad haha

That's so strange @Peachycream I did the same last month with OPKs and mine was all over the place I need to look into LH more. This month I'm trusting my CB fertility monitor.. which won't let me stick any little sticks in anyway 😅

@KayL1988 mine were pretty steady, maybe like a 0.01 change each day but after the surge it was a relatively straight line……until 8DPO I’ve been trying to look into it and I’m not finding much, my most interesting find was yesterday when I thought I’d cracked the case that it was just rising slightly because progesterone is dropping and 🧙 is on her way. Which made sense to me, so I accepted it and moved on with my life 😂 but now I got nothing as to why I would drop again so steeply. It must just be fluctuation. If you do find anything out let me know!

CD22 for me and I’ve got a higher OPK this morning! Finally getting my peak I think! I’ve attached a picture (hope it works!). I originally thought I was getting my peak in CD19 when I got 0.42 but it wasn’t to be.
