@KayL1988 yes it's true.. he just reassured me that these things happen all the time and I know he has no idea lol but I appreciate him more lol .. excited to see some bfps in the coming weeks! ❤

@HRP1990 cycle 1 was 55 days long and I ovulated day 46, cycle 2 was 52 days long and I ovulated day 40, cycle 3 was 43 days long and I potentially ovulated day 34 but it might have been anovulatory, I’m not sure. I started taking conceive plus ovulation support at the end of cycle 3 so I’m really hoping I see a difference this month.

@Dannii892 so glad you had a chat witj your OH, people always talk about how getting married, moving house etc are mega stressful times but say nothing about TTC, I think because we see it as a private thing we don’t talk about it and that makes it even more stressful!

@SkeletonSkins fingers crossed for you! I drive myself mad with a relatively normal cycle length... I can't imagine how stressful not know is.

My update today is I'm absolutely shattered. I slept well last night I thought but I'm so tired. I have also finished reading the impatient woman's guide to getting pregnant!

@SkeletonSkins exactly! I was surprised how understanding he was and if I'd of spoken with him sooner I would've been less stressed .. I think everything was not working in my favour this month.. my dog was being a dick.. mother in ice with covid and pneumonia and than my fall.. I was at my tipping point and tbh now I know I'm out this month a weight has been lifted and now we can concentrate on being more open and focus on the next cycle with less pressure ❤

Thanks @KayL1988, to be honest I’m just relieved I’ve at least ovulated as that’s one of the main reasons women with PCOS can struggle to get pregnant I think, because they aren’t ovulating. The main thing is not being able to plan things out - I feel like if I had a rough idea when I’d ovulate I could make sure we were doing what we needed in the days leading up 😂😂 I guess trial and error 😂

@Dannii892 girl you have had so much to deal with, you definitely deserve a chilled evening with some nice food and snacks, and I have everything crossed for you on the next cycle 💕

Also @KayL1988 think I need to read that, I’m soooo impatient. Sometimes I see baby clothes and wonder if I should buy them incase all the good baby clothes are gone when I eventually (please god) get pregnant 😂 I saw two babies today and I was like why can’t I have one nowwww. TTC is just so much waiting isn’t it - waitinf for AF to end, waiting to ovulate, TTW, waiting to even have a chance. I want it now.

If I got a BFP last cycle I wanted to give my boyfriend the test today, but sadly 🧙🏻‍♀️ ruined my plans! She’s just finished though, so I’m on
CD6 and I’m optimistic at this stage, with my fertile window next week it’s given me something to concentrate on! (It’s finally time for the OPKS’s haha)

Glad 🧙‍♀️ has gone and you are feeling optimistic for this cycle @HRP1990 .. fingers crossed!

Oh no @80sPadme hope roast dinner cheered you up at a bit! I think it always harder if you've thought how you'd tell other half! I found it weird last month because I'd had a thought about how I'd tell him! Tried to avoid that this cycle!

@SkeletonSkins I also read that as you wanted one of the two babies you saw 😂 at first! I think that's it... it's just a lot of waiting for everything. The first part of the cycle I find so much easier because I can track ovulation ... I get a bit lost at the end when I don't have anything to do!

@SkeletonSkins I know what you mean about seeing babies everywhere and the ‘why not me?!’ Also as soon as I decide I want something I want it now! I also look at baby clothes online sometimes and I’m soo tempted to buy 😂

I’ve had a nice weekend thank you @80sPadme, just chilled really. My OPKs are up and down so who knows what’s going on there, will wait and see. Another week ahead now but I’m not too insanely busy this week which is good. How about you?

I loved it @PurpleCat88 a lot of stuff I already knew but also stuff I didn't. It's a very chill read with lots of humour which I like! It was very reassuring though ... I really liked when she did the little breakdown of what the TWW feels like!! I feel like a psycho when it's only 6DPO today and I'm symptom spotting like mad! I'll definitely have another read through again.

I'm 7DPO @80sPadme pretty much cycle twins!

I have a swanky family meal planned for a big birthday (not mine) this weekend. Not sure how I'll dodge drinks all night without an excuse but I really feel uncomfortable drinking whilst TTC (even more so towards the end of my cycle). I know loads of women get pregnant and drink until they find out but I still feel weird 🙄 plus since it's a big birthday I would usually have a little toast drink even if I was driving!

Think I'll test early on Friday or Saturday morning which will be 11 or 12 DPO. Probably Saturday.... Least then if they are BFN I can have a glass of fizz at the meal without feeling as guilty.

Such a minefield!

I know what you mean, I’ve hardly drink whilst TTC, I don’t really like the idea either but I do feel better for it!
That’s exciting! Fingers crossed for you for Saturday! What will be your excuse if it’s a BFP? I assume you’ve wouldn’t say anything straight away.

@KayL1988 i totally get it. I have both a hen do and a wedding coming up next month. The hen do involves a lot of alcohol and I don't want to drink at either event. I have noooo idea what excuse I am going to come up with for not one but two events with the same group of ladies.

I'm 9 DPO today with 🧙🏼‍♀️ due on Saturday. I am not sure how long I'm going to try and go without testing but I really don't want to test too early this cycle (I spent a fortune on FRERs last month). It's hard though because I know some people get their BFP as early as this... so the temptation and 'what if' is there 😳 sometimes I will google things like '9DPO positive pregnancy test' ... I have no idea why I do that to myself 😂😂

Also who else has AF due this week/weekend?!

@Sparklingwine1 I am also due AF this week, currently 9DPO but based on last cycle of 29 days I am 1 day late now. This was my first time using opks so looks like I have a short LP as cycles vary between 29 and 32 days. I keep pondering whether to test or wait till Wednesday which would be day 32...when are you thinking of testing? X

I was thinking of you @Aries491 as I remember we are very similar cycle wise! 👯‍♀️

I would like to wait until Friday ideally (one day before AF is due) but know I will probably cave by about Wednesday if I'm honest 😂 Wednesday for me for me would be 11DPO.
