Are these tests known for false positives?

Picture doesn't show very well but I took this yesterday (think I must have been around 6DPO) as was having some symptoms and although it is very faint there is definitely something showing as a potential second line.

I will of course test again in a few days but thought I would try find out if anyone else had experience of using these tests and it being a good/bad outcome in terms of reliability

I'm sorry I don't think I can see anything. Are you actually tracking your ovulation? Because if you're really 6dpo, it's almost not possible to get any hcg levels to detect yet. Earliest implantation date would be 6 dpo, and it will take 48 hours from then on for the hcg hormones to develop. But of course, if your ovulation could also be a few days earlier, than you might be already after 8 dpos.

I don't see anything on the picture, but that's not to say it's not there. Last month when I had my chemical I saw a line but my camera chose not to.i had to like edit the photo to be able to see the line lol

Also like @Bundaberg84 said, pretty much impossible at 6dpo to show positive as it is not likely that the egg has been implanted yet... unless you're 8dpo+ then I would just continue testing.

Just done another one at the same time I did yesterday and again I can see something but doesn't show so well once photographed annoyingly!

Yesterday's test has got darker but I assume that could be down to evap as it was taken yesterday.

Hey! I definitely see thesehopw there not evaps!!!fingers crossed for you

You need to step away from the tests for a couple of days. It is virtually impossible to get a BFP at 6/7 dpo

People are going to say stay away from testing but honestly do whatever you wish.. unless you can pinpoint O you may even be 8dpo. I got a faint line this cycle at 7dpo now 100% pregnant xx

I got a BFP in March at 7DPO .. ended in CP but the line progressed from that point. Don't know why people have to be so up tight about it. 😳

I definitely see a line on the 7dpo one! Everyone is different and some people don’t see their first positive until later on, some people see them super early. No need for judgment 🥰

This mornings test ... 8dpo maybe. Ordered a FRER as I can definitely see something in real life

I don’t see anything on the 8DPO- but that’s still really early. It is entirely up to the tester but it does make sense to wait a bit longer, just so there’s not so much doubt/squinting/am I aren’t I.

I feel like tonight's one has got darker .. FRER seems to show something too but picture doesn't show it. I'm going to leave it a couple days now but wanted to update the thread.

I still don’t see it, but maybe it’s there in real life like my early positive. I don’t think I’d have got that to show in a pic, it was an absolute whisper of a line.

Mine definitely wasn’t there as early as 8DPO though. Probably more like 10.

The photo really isn't doing it justice if I am honest. Doesn't help that this weather is making my house dark so trying to get some actual light to make it clearer is difficult lol 🙈

I can def see a shadow in the bottom 2 🤞🏻

Took this morning. Starting to think I've got a dodgy batch as I can definitely see something but not sure they're getting any darker. Might try a FRER in the morning as I will be approx 10DPO.

My boobs are now sore too which I haven't had previously x

I would say that’s a negative test OP, sorry but really can’t see anything.

I know you shouldn't 'tweak' but this shows more of what I can see in real life. The others I can appreciate don't look great but I can definitely see something, the photos just don't seem to show, just shows how faint they are!

& before anyone starts saying this is why you should wait. I am not sitting here thinking I am pregnant or worrying about it. I have been through enough cycles to know things are more likely to go wrong than right. It just fills a void and keeps my mind at ease.

I can see something on the last two, I would say first morning wee on a frer tomorrow will give you a clear result
